Israel orders the evacuation of 1.1 million

JERUSALEM — Israel’s military on Friday directed the evacuation of northern Gaza, a region that is home to 1.1 million people — about half of the territory’s population — within 24 hours, a U.N. spokesman said. This could signal an impending ground offensive, though the Israeli military has not yet confirmed such an appeal. On Thursday it said that while it was preparing, a decision has not yet been made. The order, delivered to the U.N., comes as Israel presses an offensive against Hamas militants. U.N. spokesman Stéphane Dujarric called the order “impossible” without “devastating humanitarian consequences.”

FTA: “'Not a single electricity switch will be flipped on, not a single faucet will be turned on and not a single fuel truck will enter until the Israeli hostages are returned home,' Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz said on social media." Looks like the ball is in Hamas' court. If their leaders really want their people not to be bombed and to have their utilities turned back on, they need only release the Israeli hostages. If they are still alive. But we all know that the Hamas leadership cares about their "people" about as much as Zelensky does Ukrainians. They will bet on the international leftist press to portray them as victims of Israeli oppression and militarism. Their barbarism is so normal to themselves, they have no self-awareness of how revolting beheading babies is to the rest of the world. FTA: "With Israel sealing off the territory, the only way in or out is through the crossing with Egypt at Rafah, but Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said Thursday that airstrikes on Rafah have prevented it from operating." Egypt's Foreign Ministry is using the air strikes like a Fan Dancer uses feathers. Even before the Israeli military action, Egyptians did not allow Palestinians free access into their country. Since 1948 every country that gave them refuge has suffered civil war because of them. No one wants the Palestinians. They are a curse to anyone who gives them safe harbor, or any quarter.

One of the victims cell phones used to show the hostage gave a location of southern Gaza. They should do a misdirection, tell people to move out of the north and attack the south. Hamas has told their citizens not to obey orders from Israel because they like using their people as human shields that they can get good PR from when they die. The Gazans elected Hamas; they'll get what they deserve.

The relatively safe movement of 1.1 million people out of an urban area the size of northern Gaza over a 24 ÷/- hour period is doable - refer to the panicked, chaotic movement of 2.5 million people out of the city of Houston mostly on September 21, 2005 in fear of a suspected category 5 hurricane (fizzled.) The problem is Egypt doesn't want them for existential reasons. By the way, Friday there is like a Sunday here because of religious practices.

Scott McKay’s #2 point at the American Spectator is hugely educational. I didn’t realize that many people live in Gaza. And they seem to wreak havoc wherever they live. NO ONE wants them. They’re lucky they got a spot of land from Israel. Ironic, They are living on land given to them by Jews when none of the other Arab nations will do anything.

Gaza is only six miles wide... 25 miles long.. Normal walking pace is 4 mph. They can all walk out of the evac area in under 4 hrs. Hamas "Govt" will then have to deal with very large numbers of "Innocent Civilians" in very large groups, many demanding that Hamas release the hostages and/or surrender arms. As the evacuated areas are cleared or flattened, Israel can allow "Innocent Civilians" to pass through checkpoints back into them, where humanitarian aid can be delivered..., in exchange for intelligence. "Fighting age" individuals may have to be swabbed for Gunpowder residue, anyone with it on their hands? Is either sent back, or into a seperate POW area. I'm a bit "vengeful" perhaps, I would also order entire ship loads of hogs/pigs to be delivered, by the tens of thousands...then released into the streets.

Hamas was VOTED into power by these same people that now need to evacuate. Hard to believe that with all the planning and likely stockpiling that went into this, they did not know what was coming. I would be willing to bet they were handing out candy in the streets following the attack, as they were on 9/11. It is sad that the children are forced to live in this society that their parents have chosen, but history has shown that they grow up to hate in the same way. Some of the children who got candy on the street on 9/11 were likely involved in this attack.

Not sure how Israel is going to know who amongst the 1.1 million palestinians being evacuated are hamas fighter trying to blend into the crowd. It will get mighty interesting when the IDF goes house to house. They must watch out for booby traps. Unfortunately, they will also find the corpses of the hostages.

No Middle East country is going to receive the Hamas supporting 2.2 million or so Gazan Palestinians into their countries, to give the Israelis and easy road to wipe out the Gazan Hamas terrorists and create a Palestinian terrorist organization in their countries. Egypt borders the Gaza Strip on the South and has made that clear. Nearby Jordan also will not accept any Palestinian people into Jordan and has in the past expelled Palestinians found in their territories to Lebanon. So that leaves about 2.2 million Palestinians in Israel’s way to destroy Hamas in Gaza. From what we have seen from Biden and his crew it is not out of the realm of possibility that Biden, his crew, and the leftist and socialist Democrats, supported by some RINOS, will attempt to bring those Palestinians to the USA as asylum seekers and refugees and resettle them in an area of the USA where there are no nearby Jews, especially if Biden and his crew come to believe that those Palestinians can easily be transformed to be a new leftist and socialist Democrat constituency group of supporters and future voters by way of Democrat designed “path to citizenship” amnesties and other legalization programs sold to the American people as being a Democrat designed and needed so-called “comprehensive immigration reform” that would also include all illegal liens in the USA. Even before that happens in the Democrat run cities and other places where illegal aliens most all being economic migrants, who are being fraudulently referred to as being asylum seekers and refugees can get issued U.S. drivers licenses, those aliens are automatically registered to vote in U.S. elections in accordance with the Clinton era Motor-Voter laws that also provides that local voter registrars are prohibited from verifying the citizenship status of applicants or drivers licenses who are also automatically registered to vote, thereby turning the U.S. voter registration system into an honor system making it very easy for aliens of all sorts to unlawfully vote in U.S. elections.

Hamas leadership is living comfortably in Quatar. Israel should demand they be arrested and given up. Israel did not order them to leave in 24 hours, they advised them to leave for their safety in the next few days, and to move south of the dry river bed that cuts Gaza in half. Israel will begin a ground invasion soon, but there is no hurry, as all electricity, water, and food has been cut off from Gaza. A week or more without necessities will further weaken their enemy, before putting IDF ground forces in harm's way.

The IDF said Tuesday that a hospital blast which reportedly claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians earlier in the day was caused by a misfired rocket launched by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), a terrorist group operating within the Gaza Strip. “According to intelligence information, from several sources we have, the PIJ organization is responsible for the failed [rocket] fire that hit the hospital,” the IDF said in a statement. According to the Israeli military’s analysis of “operational systems, an enemy rocket barrage was carried out towards Israel, which passed in the vicinity of the hospital, when it was hit,” the statement added.

But when pathologists gently began to examine, they could see the bodies were those of an adult and a child. And they were hugging tightly. That is how it had ended for them, trapped in a room as Hamas terrorists set fire to their home. As the horror of burning to death came to them, the adult had nothing left to offer but to hold that terrified child in their arms. And as unbearable as that is, it is by no means an isolated case here at Israel's National Centre of Forensic Medicine, where the bodies

President Joe Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is ordering its employees to defy biological reality by referring to transgender coworkers by their “preferred pronouns.” The HHS, which employs approximately 80,000 people in the United States and abroad, imposed its new “Gender Identity and Non-Discrimination Guidance” late last week, which outlines “employee rights and protections related to gender identity,” according to an alleged HHS email sent to employees and obtained by Catholic News Agency (CNA).

Javier Milei, a far-right libertarian leading the polls in Argentina’s presidential election this month, has made a lot of contentious statements in recent years: Humans did not cause climate change; people should be able to sell their organs; his nation’s currency “is not even good as manure.” But, to many Argentines, he has done something far worse: attacked the pope. In 2020, Mr. Milei, a self-identifying Catholic, called Pope Francis an “imbecile” and “the representative of the Evil One on earth” because he defends “social justice.”

President Biden will travel to Israel on Wednesday in a dramatic show of solidarity with the Jewish state, which is still reeling from a surprise attack by Hamas terrorists earlier this month. The trip comes ahead of Israel’s expected ground invasion of the Hamas-ruled Gaza in an effort to wipe out the organization and as the U.S. ramps up efforts with Middle East allies to avoid a humanitarian crisis. White House National Security spokesperson John Kirby told reporters late Monday that Mr. Biden’s one-day trip will also include a stopover in Jordan, where the president will also include a meeting

A Cornell University professor was caught on camera telling students Hamas’ terror attack on Israel — which has left more than 1,400 dead — was “exhilarating” and “energizing.” The remarks were made at a pro-Palestine protest by Russell Rickford, an associate professor of history at the top-tier Ithaca, New York school and posted online Sunday by a student who called them “shameful.” The footage of Rickford’s impassioned speech was also shared with The Post by two other tipsters. They declined to say when and where exactly the rally took place, but both said they were shocked by the brazen remarks.
