U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, was the victim of an armed carjacking Monday night in Washington, D.C., Fox News Digital confirmed. The longtime Democratic congressman was in the Navy Yard neighborhood when the incident took place at about 9:30 p.m., according to U.S. Capitol Police. The agency, along with Metropolitan Police Department, responded to the scene at New Jersey Avenue and K Street Southeast. The entire block is closed off as police investigate. Police are searching for three suspects, described as Black men wearing all black clothing, in connection with the carjacking, MPD said in an alert. Cuellar's stolen vehicle, a white Honda CHR, has since been recovered.

He should know better than driving a Honda. Those things are valuable. Cuellar was probably scared to tell them who he is while he was being jacked. That public forum on crime that they just had did a lot of good preventing crime, didn't it? Crimes are only crimes when they happen to the ruling class. Then, it's all hands on deck. Even the caucus chair critter showed up to make sure justice was done. Pity those poor black thieves; they stole from the wrong gangsters, and they will pay. Their deaths by cop have already been approved and set in motion. It's hard not to despise these criminals, and I do mean the congress critters.

The "Be on the Lookout Bulletin" said: 3 Black Males in DC, we're talking 45 percent (given 53 percent are female) of the population here. The nature of the populace of DC guarantees that if 3 random males are arrested they'd be guilty of something! Having been born there, I resent having to say the afore mentioned but my hyperbole is warranted!

This is the result of fifty years of the left excusing black crime. The criminal subset of the black race now feels entitled and empowered to rob and kill. After all, the left has told them that its ok and they deserve it. Look at the flash mob looting in Philly the other night, the ongoing shoplifting raids that are driving business after business out of the blue cities. The gang murders with murder now being the #1 cause of death in young black males. It’s an appalling tragedy and the Democrats own every bit of it.

For a Democrat, he's not half bad. But he still tows the Dem line when he has to. Funny story about the guy and his office. He used to be my Congresscritter a number of years ago and my brother-in-law actually rented him office space in one of his buildings. My mother-in-law was in a nursing home and unbenownst to us, the nursing home was taking her SS check. About this time, we had an issue with some credit card fraud on her accounts and we were pretty concerned, especially since we found one check went to one bank and the next check went to another bank. SS office wasn't helping, so I called his local office and introduced myself. Said I was calling for my mother-in-law and you rent your office space from her son. I suggested two ways we could fix the problem. We could get the SS office to get off their duff and find where the money went or we could raise the Congressman's rent by the amount of the landlord's mommas social security check. She chose the first option, and it got fixed pretty fast.

The Biden administration seeks to force transgender orthodoxy on ordinary Americans via its Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The EEOC aims to weaponize a federal law prohibiting harassment on the basis of sex in the workplace by forbidding employers to believe that biological sex can not be altered due to one’s self-identification, according to a report by the Daily Signal. The federal agency published a proposed rule for workplace harassment Monday, citing the Supreme Court’s decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, which states, “sex-based discrimination includes discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.”

President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that he approved $9 billion in student loan forgiveness for 125,000 Americans. The relief is a result of his administration's fixes to a number of programs, including the income-driven repayment plans and Public Service Loan Forgiveness. More than $5 billion of the aid will go to 53,000 borrowers who've worked in public service for a decade or more; $2.8 billion of the forgiveness is for 51,000 borrowers enrolled in income-driven repayment plans; and another $1.2 billion of the cancellation will go to 22,000 borrowers with disabilities. The announcement is likely to help Biden as he runs for reelection, experts say.

BAKERSFIELD — Minutes before the vote that cost California‘s Rep. Kevin McCarthy his job as speaker of the House, three Republican voters lunching in his hometown cursed the scorched-earth politics in Washington. The conservative women said McCarthy had been left with two bad choices in the days before his ouster: Risk a revolt from the hard right and cut a deal with Democrats to pass a funding bill, or acquiesce to the hard-liners and shut down the federal government, wrecking the economy. Ultimately, they thought, McCarthy did the right thing — and paid the price on Tuesday. “He was damned if he did, damned if he didn’t,”

WASHINGTON — The stunning removal of Kevin McCarthy as speaker left the House effectively paralyzed Wednesday as Republicans struggled to bring order to their fractured majority and begin the difficult and potentially prolonged process of uniting around a new leader. The House opened briefly then went into recess, with North Carolina Rep. Patrick McHenry, the caretaker speaker pro-tempore, serving in the job with very little power for the foreseeable future. Other Republicans left Washington, awaiting the next steps. The House will try to elect a speaker as soon as next week. The timing is nowhere near certain as Republicans line up for their chance at the gavel amid the bitter divisions

Looks like another federal court doesn’t support the idea that Homeland Security’s writ includes America’s “cognitive infrastructure.” In a unanimous ruling yesterday, the Fifth Circuit expanded bars on the Biden administration’s Big Brother censorship activities, blocking the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) from any speech-policing communication with private-sector media platforms. This comes from a further review of Missouri v Biden, which the Supreme Court will also take up in an ill-advised appeal by the administration to an earlier ruling: The CISA, described as the “nerve center” of federal government censorship, is responsible for censoring the American public, facilitating collusion between the feds and social media companies

Google has spent the last couple of decades hoovering up everyone’s private information for its own use, but it wants to make sure the public knows as little as possible about what it’s doing to the public. Normally in litigation like this, all sorts of information about the defendant’s business practices would come out.
