Who was it who said of the Palestinians that they never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity? You could say the same of the Republican Party. Then there is the adage, attributed to Napoleon, that you should never interrupt an enemy when he is making a mistake. The Republicans violated that one today, too. By rights, the Democrats should be in disarray. The Biden administration has been a disaster, as pretty much everyone knows, regardless of what some loyalists may tell a pollster. And yet it is the Republicans who can’t get their act together. Once again, they have bailed out the Democrats with an idiotic vote to oust

Nothing had been accomplished since McCarthy was elected... his promises were not kept. It is time to stop the insane spending, war on law enforcement folks, Trans & Drag evil, attacks on our military, and Ozero's third term. TG for a strong, patriot Matt Gaetz the rest of the Eleven. We have to start rebuilding our nation. Please pray for DJT!

Dems are busy stealing elections on the way to 2024, and you people are working against the base. The country is in disarray because evil people are in power--pubs and devils alike. Yep. As I've mentioned previously, right when Americans are looking to them for leadership, they Republicans have to show their backside to the whole country. "Don't trust us, we can't even trust and support each other!". As McCarthy and others have been methodically exposing the corruption of Joe Biden, Ronald McGaetz and 8 other clowns jump our of their little car and blow everything up, then wrap themselves in the true conservative flag. Was McCarthy perfect? No. But he was doing something very important. Gaetz threw a huge wrench into that. Why? Who really helped "the swamp" here? And what kind of deals did Gaetz make with the Dems? Those are questions to ask yourself. Also, what, exactly, is it that Gaetz has accomplished in his sojourn in the House? Think about it. Also, ask yourself why Trump himself criticized this idea. What he said is exactly what's happening - the Republicans attacked their own and show they are in disarray, while the Dems stand in lockstep unity. It's not a good or trust-inspiring look. And it may cost them and any GOP presidential candidate the 2024 election.

What? We should let McCarthy continue to reach across the aisle, continue funding Ukraine while America burns and drain our Treasury to the last dime to keep the democrats happy? Gaetz, for all of his showmanship, made a needed correction. Accept it and move on. It certainly can't make things worse. So the democrats are better at sticking together? Newt had the Contract with America. McCarthy had . . . no message. When any proper message would have been better -- save the middle class, inflation is killing us, protect our children from the Left. . . . The only message McCarthy had was that he was the preordained leader of the House.

"Never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity" should be the Republican party motto. The next most obvious opportunity I see would be to put DJT in the Speaker's chair. Could you imagine the impact that would have? The gnashing of teeth and tearing of garment? Not a pearl would remain unclutched! I don't think there is (or ever was) anyone who could get more accomplished in that role than him. If nothing else, imagine the picture of him sitting next to that creature, both of them behind that decrepit old criminal as he incoherently mumbles (or shouts?) his way through a state of the union address. It'd be magical.

It looks like the choice for the next Speaker of the House is leaning heavily in favor of Rep. Jim Jordan. Essentially the battle is between Jordan and Rep. Steve Scalise and Jordan is coming out on top. I may be wrong but the reporting on the speaker’s race has been tilted toward Jordan since he tossed his hat in the ring. On Thursday, Axios reported that McCarthy allies are working to gather support for Jordan, not the traditional choice, which would be Steve Scalise. Scalise is the House Majority Leader and at the top of the party leadership. In normal times, he would be the next speaker.

Disney has failed to make any inroads with conservative Americans who turned on the entertainment industry giant over its woke politics, according to results from a new Rasmussen Reports survey previewed exclusively by The Daily Wire. Just over 60% of Republicans have an unfavorable opinion of Disney, including 35% who say they have a “very unfavorable” opinion, the survey conducted by Rasmussen in late September found. The results are starkly divided by political identity. While among Republicans only 32% have a favorable view and 61% have an unfavorable view, for Democrats the results are almost exactly the opposite — 61% of Democrats view Disney favorably and just 29% unfavorably.

Progressive activist Cornel West is abandoning his bid to run for president with the Green Party, opting instead to run as an independent. The party-switching move complicates his path to the ballot. The Green Party has already gained ballot access for 2024 in 17 states, according to the party's website. Without them, West will have to gain access to the ballot in states on his own, an expensive and time-consuming task that involves gathering hundreds of thousands of petition signatures across the different states. In a statement announcing his decision, West said, "Our Constitution provides for independent candidates to gain ballot access in all states, and I

WASHINGTON — President Biden said Thursday that he “can’t stop” construction of new sections of the US-Mexico border wall because Congress wouldn’t rescind spending on it — as he waived 26 federal laws to restart former President Donald Trump’s pet project amid record-breaking illegal immigration. “The money was appropriated for the border wall. I tried to get them to reappropriate, to redirect that money. They didn’t. They wouldn’t,” Biden told reporters in the Oval Office. “In the meantime, there’s nothing under the law other than they have to use the money for what it was appropriated for. I can’t stop that,” he insisted. Asked if he thought the border wall was

While the spotlight has been on Republican inter-party strife lately, there's trouble in paradise across the aisle. The border crisis has reached levels of disaster so obscene that not even Democrats can ignore it any longer, and the Biden administration is starting to shift its strategy. According to RedState's Bob Hoge, the president has waived several environmental laws to start construction on a new section of the largely incomplete border wall. The Biden administration announced they waived 26 federal laws in South Texas to allow border wall construction on Wednesday, marking the administration’s first use of a sweeping executive power employed often during the Trump presidency.
