In response to Democratic New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s effort to infringe on Second Amendment rights as though she were the ultimate authority, more than 100 protesters openly carried firearms Sunday in a rally in Albuquerque. Remember it because their strategy might need to be used again to thwart the COVID tyrants. Grisham, acting every bit the dictator, issued late last week an emergency order in which she suspended “open and concealed carry laws in Bernalillo County,” where the capital Albuquerque is located, for 30 days. The order is “aimed” – a curious word choice on her part – “at quickly reducing gun violence.”

Since the legal concealed carry folks are NOT involved in the criminal shootings she wants to prevent, even if this magically worked to get those people with legal CCW permits to stop carrying their guns --- it will guaranteed have no effect on the shootings that this dimwit is targeting because the criminals won't be affected - doubly so, not having CCW permits and not following laws. Two levels of not affecting criminals. In fact, if criminals think that fewer honest people will be armed, they will likely INCREASE their crime spree. Dems are just illogical and irrational. Facts have no place in their minds. They literally treat guns as totems....as symbols with magical power over people. They imagine in their fevered, dim, disinformed, misinformed minds that the mere presence of a gun in some honest person's pocket somehow magically makes other people more violent....even if those other people can't actually even know that that magical totem gun is in some other person's pocket. Somehow they think the mere presence of these unseen magic totem guns causes violence .....in others. Crazy, magical thinking. Treating guns as totems is bizarre and literally mentally deranged. I use "mind" here, because I hesitate to use "brain", seems inappropriate for those with so little apparent ability to think.

Her next move will be to "temporarily suspend" the First Amendment to prevent people from saying "wrong things" about her "temporary suspension" of the Second Amendment.

We can imagine the White House summer meeting as President Joe Biden’s handlers, whoever they might be, desperately tried to figure out how boost his flagging favorability ratings among voters. Some genius, no doubt, shouted out “Bidenomics!” as just the ticket to repair his tattered reputation. They rolled it out and, well, Americans still aren’t buying it. On Thursday, Biden’s people pushed him out once again to flog the nearly dead Bidenomics horse. At an appearance in Maryland touted by the administration as a “major” economic address, Biden told voters that his agenda is about “investing in

Editor’s Note: This editorial originally ran on September 26, 2019. Now that the House has announced plans to begin an impeachment inquiry into Biden, we reprint it here just to show how far ahead of the curve we were and how diligently the mainstream press has buried this story for the past four years. Until the transcript of President Donald Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky emerged on Wednesday, Democrats were in a mad fury with accusations that Trump had bribed a foreign government to investigate the business dealings of former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

Both President Biden and former President Trump have taken their lumps recently. In Biden’s case, it’s his failing mental acuity, age and allegations of corruption in office. For Trump, it’s an unprecedented slew of criminal indictments. Disaster? Hardly. Both candidates still hold big leads over likely challengers, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. In Trump’s case, he has widened his lead. In the latest online national poll, taken from among 509 Republican voters from Aug. 30-Sept. 1, we again asked: “If the Republican presidential primary were held today, whom would you support for the nomination?”

In a tweet sent out over the weekend, Rob “Meathead” Reiner declared that “For our Democracy to survive, two things have to happen. Donald Trump needs to be Convicted for Jan. 6th and there can be no Third Party Candidate.” Reiner’s comment was so blatantly anti-democratic that it elicited an avalanche of criticism, some of it from leftists who didn’t particularly like the idea of barring third-party candidates. As one person on X (formerly known as Twitter) responded: “Better make sure there’s no second party candidate either, just to be safe. For Democracy.” Another way of putting what Reiner said: We need to kill democracy in order to save it.

In announcing that she will run for reelection to the U.S. House next year, San Francisco’s Nancy Pelosi made an ill-advised, out-of-touch, incredibly deranged statement. If the Republican Party doesn’t use it in a continuous loop of ads during the 2024 campaign, it will commit an egregious error. Pelosi, regrettably House speaker on two separate occasions, declared last week her intention to seek another term in Congress, which would be her 19th. The 83-year-old tweeted Friday that she was running because “now more than ever our City needs us to advance San Francisco values and further our recovery.” At least there’s no mystery about her agenda.

The effort to whip up another COVID crisis misses no beats as the usual scolds peddle mask mandates and lockdowns like shameless hucksters selling cure-all elixirs. They can’t say it straight out quite yet, but they want to return to a dark time in our history. Apparently there hasn’t been enough death to satisfy them. In our own admittedly modest effort to stand against the tyranny, we have recently urged Americans to resist mask mandates and lockdowns through civil disobedience, if necessary. We have no plans to back down from our position. Our opposition is in part galvanized by our

Across the globe, the U.S. faces a growing list of dangerous foreign policy challenges. But is the 80-year-old President Joe Biden, with growing signs of age-related mental issues, up to the task? A large majority of Americans, including Democrats, say no, according to the latest I&I/TIPP Poll. Global dangers abound. China’s engaged in a massive military buildup and poised to attack Taiwan. Meanwhile, Russia wages a bloody war with U.S.-supported Ukraine. In the Mideast, Iran’s nuclear program nears completion, and the U.S.’ 2021 Afghanistan departure has left a power vacuum across the region. This is just a partial list of growing threats.
The Nation’s Fiscal Crisis Just Got Real 12 replies

Over the weekend, the Washington Post let it slip that all is not well in Bidenomicsville. The deficit, it reports, could end up hitting $2 trillion when the current fiscal year ends in three weeks, which it describes as an “unexpected deficit surge.” In other words, the deficit will nearly double this year, calling the lie on one of President Joe Biden’s favorite boasts about how he cut the deficit more than any president in history. But while this apparently comes as a shock to the Post, as well as other liberal news sites that picked up on the Post report, anyone paying attention knew this was happening.

President Joe Biden has staked so much on his claim that he’s “created” 13.5 million jobs since taking office that it’s worth asking if his Labor Department is now goosing job growth figures to help him out. On Friday just before the holiday weekend, Labor released its estimates for job growth in August – which it said worked out to 187,000, beating economists’ forecasts. But at the same time, the government cut the job growth numbers for the previous two months by a total of 110,000. As a matter of fact, Labor has quietly cut its initial job growth estimates for every month this year.

Turns out that, by throwing open the southern border, President Joe Biden has created a booming business for Mexican cartels ripping off U.S. retailers – although you’d never know it based on the media blackout of this trend. Target, Dollar Tree, Foot Locker, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nordstrom, and others recently disclosed that organized retail crime – or ORC

A little more than three years ago, the kakistocrats who indulge the raw political power they hold over much of our country forced us down a dark road of ruin by demanding that everyone wear a mask while also forbidding us from living as free people. There are clear signs they wish to do it again. As we have done before, we implore our American brothers and sisters to stand hard against the forces of subjugation. No masks. No lockdowns. No vaccine mandates. Not only is our liberty at stake, so is our health, our mental well-being, and a future that belongs to each of us, not the ruling class.

While discussing the pay raises demanded by the UAW in negotiations and pay raises for CEOs, Farley said that they have offered pay raises and are open to big pay increases, but the 40% that the UAW is asking for is too much and would put the company out of

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) is looking into opening taxpayer-funded, city-owned grocery stores in areas in which businesses have pulled out due to rampant crime. Johnson announced a partnership with the Economic Security Project to look into the possibility of opening city-owned grocery stores. The first step in the partnership will be to perform a feasibility study, but the city did not provide a timeline, the Chicago Tribune reported. Johnson claimed his administration is “committed to advancing innovative, whole-of-government approaches to address these inequities.”

At this point, the people in power behind the scenes at the White House have to be pulling their hair out over this question: How do you solve a problem like Joe Biden? As I wrote on Thursday, among the bad things he said were weird comments about Gov. Wes Moore's biceps and a racist comment about "African Americans, Hispanic workers, and veterans" as "you know, the workers without high school diplomas." He also just can't stop making things up and telling bizarre falsehoods. People trying to be charitable sometimes refer to these fantasies as trying to relate to their audience. But when you are falsely stealing an aspect

Former Vice President Mike Pence said he'd be open to having a female vice president- but wouldn't say if he'd dine with her alone. Pence appeared at a town hall with Leland Vittert on NewsNation Wednesday and was asked about his much-talked-about deal the Republican struck with his wife Karen to never dine alone with another woman. Vittert then asked if that same rule would apply with a woman vice president - as presidents and vice presidents often have official lunches as part of their schedule.

Every book published prior to 2008 has been removed from a public high school library in Canada to ensure that kids are not exposed to non-inclusivity. Yes, you read that correctly. Imagine the surprise of students at Erindale Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario, when they entered the school's library last spring to discover...empty shelves. Staff told them, "If the shelves look emptier right now it's because we have to remove all books [published] prior to 2008." Why? Because "The Peel District School Board works to ensure that the books available in our school libraries are culturally responsive, relevant, inclusive,

Wednesday's Cabinet meeting was most interesting. After a minute of introduction, President Biden turned the meeting over to his wife Jill, who continued to run it. This allows us a glimpse into the Democrat presidential strategy for 2024: run Jill Biden. In order for Jill to win the Democrat nomination for president, she needs to do several important things: 1. Box out Kamala Harris, Michelle Obama, and Gavin Newsom. 2. Maintain DNC support for Joe. 3. Keep Democrat contributors in line. 4. Do more and more of the president's job now.

A union representing nearly 150,000 autoworkers launched a strike early Friday morning against the Big 3 U.S. automakers -- General Motors, Ford and Stellantis. The United Auto Workers, or UAW, and the car manufacturers failed to reach a contract agreement before a deadline set by the union for Thursday at 11:59 p.m. ET. Less than two hours before the deadline, UAW president Shawn Fain announced the plants where union members would strike if a tentative agreement wasn't reached in time. By midnight Friday, that amounted to approximately 12,700 union workers, including ones at GM in Wentzville, Missouri; Stellantis in Toledo, Ohio; and Ford’s Wayne, Michigan plant.

Apparently, the geniuses in Dove’s marketing department were unaware of the backlash that cost Bud Light and Target billions of dollars in market value earlier this year when they rolled out Zyahna Bryant for a “fat liberation” campaign despite her history of making false racial accusations.

Striking Hollywood actors and writers escalated their war with the studios this week, participating in a joint march in Los Angeles that clogged the streets of the Hollywood neighborhood as protestors marched Tuesday from Netflix offices to the historic Paramount lot. Meanwhile, the actors union fired off an acrimonious salvo, accusing the studios and streamers of refusing to return to the bargaining table, with SAG-AFTRA leadership calling executives “petty tyrants.” The escalation is the latest sign that the historic strikes that have brought most of the industry to a standstill won’t be resolved any time soon. With little leverage to work with, and even less public goodwill,
