Hillary’s endorsement of book about

Failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s fondness for playing the victim has been well-established and when she took to Twitter/X to endorse a book chronicling decades of her perceived persecution at the hands of the vast right-wing conspiracy, she likely wasn’t expecting it to boomerang so badly. On Saturday, the embittered sore loser of the 2016 election gave props to author Michael D’Antonio’s “The Hunting of Hillary: The Forty-Year Campaign to Destroy Hillary Clinton,” not a new release but a tome that nonetheless earned the approval of its subject who gushed over the political bestseller.

Stepping back a few paces and putting on my analytical hat I see: a pear-shaped old woman with a pretty face and good cheekbone structure. She is a bit dowdy but with obvious intelligence and she speaks with the same Midwestern twang as most people from the Great Lakes region, her words punctuated at times by an overly loud grating hyena-like laugh. Her air is that of a condescending schoolmarm with an inexplicable amount of self-regard. Everyone but her, it seems, understands that her station in life has not been earned but simply acquired by marriage. She is not compelling, particularly talented, likable or charismatic but assumes authority and is merely tolerated by all but the weak who flock to her. She has the manner of a church scold at a potluck telling everyone else where to place their casseroles and whether the dishes they prepared look acceptable. She directs - people roll their eyes and softly snicker. She makes demands and no one moves too smartly and then…..that cackle, like fingernails on a chalkboard. People bristle and then shudder. This woman is not a leader. She displays no genuine honor or selflessness, no proof of a willingness to put herself last or to make any degree of sacrifice for others. She doesn’t make sure her guests have enough food before she starts eating. As for other people, they know instinctively that she lacks wisdom and loyalty and will use them and abuse them for her own ends. What I see is just a bossy entitled bitter old woman who could use a whole lot of humility and self-awareness. We all know the type.

A furious Donald Trump sent a fundraising email in the early hours of Tuesday morning, shortly after being indicted for a fourth time this year. The former president was indicted on Monday in Georgia for his alleged roles in trying to overturn the 2020 election, with prosecutors accusing the former president of being head of 'a criminal organization'. Seeing an opportunity to galvanize his base, Trump and his campaign sent an angry email to supporters in which he attacked Fani Willis, the district attorney for Georgia's Fulton County, as well as 'crooked Joe' Biden - all while calling on his supporters to donate towards his 2024 presidential race.

Former President Donald Trump has until midday next Friday to surrender to authorities in Fulton County, Georgia, after he and 18 associates were indicted for their roles in trying to reverse the outcome of the 2020 election. His arrest and processing will almost certainly make allowances for his status as a former commander-in-chief. However, the local sheriff has already suggested that Trump will have to pose for a mugshot. 'Unless somebody tells me differently, we are following our normal practices, and so it doesn't matter your status, we'll have a mugshot ready for you,' Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat told WSB-TV.

Because both the feds and Georgia just indicted our President for talking about, questioning, and trying to investigate a stolen election. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis opened her investigation into Donald Trump after the release of a recording of a January 2021 phone call between Trump and Georgia´s secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger. Trump suggested during the call that Raffensperger, a Republican and the state´s top elections official, could help "find" the votes needed to overturn his narrow loss to Democrat Joe Biden. More than two years later, the indictment brought Monday by a grand jury went far beyond that phone call, alleging a web of crimes committed by Trump and others. Willis used Georgia's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, or RICO, law to charge Trump and his associates

Of course, Ron DeSantis can come back and win. Anybody in the race can win – we saw Trump come back in 2016 when most everyone wrote him off in the general. Now it’s the Florida governor’s turn to be written off, but he’s not exactly in the same place that Trump was. DeSantis is a strong second right now.
