Alone in a new country with young children and no access to work, migrant mothers told CBS News they're worried about the food available for their families in the New York City shelters. Three migrant women living in the shelters, Angelica, Osranary and Michelle, were in agreement when asked about their thoughts on the food, saying it's "not good." Osranary, who arrived about a month ago, said most of the food they're given is pasta and salad, which isn't always appropriate for young children. Angelica, who arrived with her family in New York three months ago, said certain foods her

On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle,” 2024 Republican presidential candidate Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis stated that the question in the wake of the indictments of his 2024 rival, former President Donald Trump is how we’ll respond and end weaponized government. DeSantis said that while he has removed Soros-backed prosecutors in Florida, Trump “had three years to fire Christopher Wray” and didn’t, let former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “off the hook.” And “The swamp got worse in his four years.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) claimed on Wednesday that “average Americans” were not particularly concerned with the ongoing investigations into members of President Joe Biden’s family.
Schumer joined hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” to tout Biden’s signature Inflation Reduction Act on the one-year anniversary of the president signing it into law — and the conversation turned instead to the latest slate of indictments filed against former President Donald Trump and Republican investigations into the Biden family.

Not all Americans fell in love with Sandra Bullock’s inspirational football movie “The Blind Side” when it was released in November 2009. Sure, “The Blind Side” made $309 million at the box office and Bullock won her long-awaited Academy Award, but many Black viewers “never cared much for it” according to The Root. Discerning critics also saw the movie, based on a best-selling book by Berkeley author Michael Lewis, as another Hollywood project that uses “White savior” tropes. Now, critics of the movie have more ammunition in the wake of bombshell court documents filed by Michael Oher, the Black athlete

The Fulton County Clerk of Courts admitted to accidentally releasing the fourth indictment on former President Donald Trump. She said she pressed send instead of save on the document. "I am human," Ché Alexander told Channel 2's Tom Jones on Tuesday. She was apparently under a lot of pressure to make sure the process went smoothly and made the oncoming indictment public. Alexander told Jones that she wanted to get the indictment to the public as soon as possible. "And that's how the mishap happened," she said. "I have no dog in this fight," Alexander added.

We can all expect to see more of former Georgia RINO Attorney General on the fake news media in the coming months.
CNN might as well sign him on as a sidekick to their angry fake hillbilly cop.
Former Georgia AG Geoff Duncan cheered the news of Trump’s latest indictment along with 18 of his close advisors and supporters.
Geoff Duncan: “You know what? Donald Trump did his most damage in Georgia. He sucked the soul out of the Republican Party here… He’s taken everything from us. And it is our turn to take it back. Right? It’s our turn to win elections based on the policies

Dr. Rachel Levine is assistant secretary for health in the Department of Health and Human Services. Levine was previously Pennsylvania’s secretary of health. Levine is the first openly transgender federal official to be confirmed by the Senate. In Joe Biden’s administration of identity box checkers, Levine is at the top.
Levine visited the Identity Alaska on August 6 but is just now being reported. Levine praised the clinic’s ‘tireless’ efforts to provide ‘lifesaving medical care.’
Levine praised the gender-affirming care clinic that wants to eliminate the word ‘mother’ and replace it with a phase like ‘egg producer.” It is just the latest example of transgender activists not respecting women,

Never in the 235 years since the ratification of the Constitution has an administration premeditatively and blatantly prosecuted, on specious and conjecturable charges, the titular leader of the opposition party and leading candidate for president. And doing so while overtly flaunting their egregious actions to protect and cover-up for the incumbent president who has been exposed as potentially complicit in massive bribery and fraud. In any previous election cycle, these overt and unabashed actions would have been the death knell for the incumbent president’s campaign and his party.

Bill Mitchell, a prominent pro-Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) online influencer, threatened to tank former President Donald Trump and help President Joe Biden in the general election.
Mitchell took to Twitter to lay out his new “plan” to prevent Trump from winning the general election, should he win the Republican Party’s presidential nomination.
“Here’s the plan. If Trump keeps being a p**** to DeSantis and wins the nomination, DeSantis supporters should organize to write in DeSantis in the General. We’ll vote straight red down ballot to make sure we control Congress to keep Biden in check for 4 more years,” Mitchell wrote. “But Trump will NEVER be president again.”

A mob reportedly made of up as many as 10,000 men began burning down, looting, and otherwise violently assaulting Christian communities in Jaranwala, Pakistan, on Wednesday in response to reports that a Christian man had allegedly desecrated a Quran.
The Pakistani newspaper Dawn, citing local Christians in the northern Pakistani region of Punjab, documented the burning down or otherwise complete destruction of at least five churches. The British Asian Christian Association, an international aid group that serves persecuted Christians in Pakistan, reported that the mob destroyed over 500 homes and left “tens of thousands” of Christians homeless.

Georgia’s leading elected state officials, who are Republicans, reacted Tuesday to Monday’s late-night indictment of former President Donald Trump and 18 other lawyers, aides, and supporters by reiterating that there was no voter fraud in 2020.
Gov. Brian Kemp (R) posted a tweet in response to a Truth Social post by the former president. Kemp did not object to the indictment — which critics have said violates constitutional norms and criminalizes free speech — but to Trump’s 2020 claims.

The Fulton County clerk who released an indictment document displaying charges against former President Donald Trump before the grand jury voted said she inadvertently hit “send” instead of “save” in an interview with WSB-TV Tuesday.
The court briefly posted a document on its website Monday afternoon listing 13 charges against the former president, Reuters first reported, which ultimately matched the charges released after the grand jury made its decision. The Office of the Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts initially responded to media reports by claiming the document was “fictitious,” which Clerk Ché Alexander told WSB-TV was “the best word I could come up with.”
