How to Defeat Left-Wing Racialism

The summer of 2020 was a watershed in American life. After George Floyd’s death in police custody and the ensuing season of rioting, major institutions—from federal agencies to Fortune 100 companies—hastily pledged themselves to the narrative of critical race theory, which holds that America is a fundamentally racist nation and that public and private entities should practice “antiracist discrimination” to equalize group outcomes—a state of affairs that its advocates call “racial equity.” This ideology stands in direct opposition to the principles of the Constitution, which provides for color-blind equality under law.

They're all in Dreamland. Only one way, and it isn't via the corrupted ballot box. Sorry.

Very good proposals here to diminish and maybe end the racism that the Democrats have imposed on the country. It would take a president with a spine of steel to implement the policy changes required. I have beef with the section about racial/ethnic designation. It is too late to adopt the French system which doesn’t recognize or record ethnic and racial differences of the citizens. Everyone is French, period. The article wants to expand the designations in America which would result in more tribalism. Instead just have black and American Indians, the only two groups who didn’t come here voluntarily or who were here before the Europeans arrived, as designations. No differentiation for those of us who came here voluntarily or whose ancestors did. The Hispanic/Latino category is particularly stupid. These people come from numerous countries and can be of any race. A huge number of them choose white race on the census. Making Latino a race, as Biden wants, is ridiculous.

I saw a liberal publication crow about the fact that whites will be in a minority in Texas soon, if not already. That could really change the legal landscape if the "white vote" had to be protected in GOP areas, and whites qualified for "minority" status for loans, housing, and welfare priority. The laws were written as if "minority" applied only to blacks and hispanics.

Brett Baier must not moderate the Republican debate 30 replies

Brett Baier is not qualified to moderate the Republican debate on August 23 in Milwaukee. Mr. Baier had a much-publicised interview with President Trump a month ago. This interview amply demonstrated Baier’s antipathy towards the President. Most of the time he appeared to be cordial towards the President, however, when Trump brought up the topic of the stolen election, Baier became abusively hostile and interrupted his guest incessantly and would not let the President talk. Right after the election the charges of fraud surfaced, and at every opportunity, the Republicans were asked by the media and Democrats if the election was stolen

Lawyers representing Maryland’s largest school district recently argued in court that opt-out policies that ‘allow’ parents to exempt their kids from gender and sexuality lessons undermine “specific goals the district is trying to advance.” Incredibly, coming as it did from lawyers representing the government, that statement is unquestionably accurate, although not in the way that the schools would like us to believe. The Montgomery County Public School District recently reversed its original opt-out policy that ‘gave’ parents (and their kids) the right to refuse lessons they considered inappropriate or at odds with their religious views.

It’s time for a do-over. Like you, I am tired of unkept promises and rampant special interests. Faith in government has never been lower. Patriotism is in short supply. I hear a countdown clock ticking off the remaining days of our grand experiment before it becomes ancient history. Our political process has had the pungent stench of partisanship and self-dealing for too long. From the Chicago political machine to the White House Plumbers, from election shenanigans to measures undertaken in the name of a Covid-19 “emergency,” most Americans realize our political processes have been corrupted. Marxist policies and progressivism are layered over our old politics

We are in the midst of one of the most radical revolutions in American history. It is as far-reaching and dangerous as the turbulent years of the 1850s and 1860s or the 1930s. Every aspect of American life and culture is under assault, including the very processes by which we govern ourselves, and the manner in which we live. The Revolution began under the Obama administration that sought to divide Americans into oppressed and oppressors, and then substitute race for class victimization. It was empowered by the bicoastal wealth accrued from globalization, and honed during the COVID lockdown, quarantine-fed economic downturn, and the George Floyd riots and their aftermath.

When Ron DeSantis got into a car crash last week, many couldn’t help seeing a morbid irony. The governor’s botched campaign launch set the tone for a spectacular fall from grace. DeSantis was supposed to be the alternative to Trump, the more “electable,” disciplined version who would rescue the country from Joe Biden. DeSantis is now barely scraping by in the double digits and struggling to reassure the wealthy donors who believed he was the key to taking the party back from Trump. On the campaign trail, DeSantis is awkward and unable to connect with voters. The “extremely online

In his novel The Sun Also Rises, Ernest Hemingway’s character Mike Campbell is asked how he went bankrupt. “Two ways,” he says. “Gradually and then suddenly.” That seems to be true, mutatis mutandis, of revolutions too: some are measured, peaceful; some are not. In thirteenth-century England, King John was, roughly speaking, a tyrant. In a move that is considered a significant step toward the development of modern constitutional law and democracy in the Western world, the English barons met John at Runnymede in 1215 and forced him to sign the “Runnymede Agreement,” which established the principle that everyone, including the king, was subject to the law.

As President Joe Biden and his Cabinet fan out across the country touting his economic record, major features of "Bidenomics" would not be possible if not for Republican support in Congress for a $1 trillion dollar infrastructure measure and a U.S. semiconductor production bill. While the Biden administration attempts to frame his economic record as a “middle-out” and “bottom-up” approach to the economy, in contrast to Republican’s economic philosophy, the most popular parts of the president's package of policies were negotiated and ultimately passed with Republican support.

Last week’s visit to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) by the former U.S. Secretary of State and the Biden administration’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John F. Kerry, represents the end of the beginning of a series of high-level Biden administration visits with Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leaders. The purpose of these visits that started with current Secretary of State Antony Blinken in June and included the kowtowing visit by U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen can best be described as the unashamed resumption of the Kissinger School of Engagement with the PRC.

After the FDA approves the human drug for sale, does it then have the authority to interfere with how that drug is used within the doctor-patient relationship? The answer is no," Jared Kelson, representing the doctors, told the appeals court.

The White House is asking Congress to spend another $24 billion fighting Russia in Ukraine — but just $800 million to fight fentanyl and other lethal drugs in U.S. communities. That spending request seeks an extra $300 for Ukraine aid for every $1 it seeks for counter-drug programs. In 2022, roughly 110,000 Americans died from drug overdoses, principally, from the fentanyl smuggled in from China and Mexico via free-trade routes.
