Video taken by Blue Line Moving’s John Rourke gives a glimpse of the dire situation on the southern border as migrants wait to illegally cross into the United States.
Rourke, head of Blue Ling Moving and the annual “Great American Cleanup” on the southern border, traveled to Brownsville, Texas, roughly one month ahead of this year’s cleanup, taking place September 9-11. He captured the heaps of trash found on the southern border and showcased an encampment in the distance.
“Guys, I mean, this right here, this is all illegal aliens waiting for their time to cross, whenever that time comes. It goes all the way down,” he said.

Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas took to Twitter to sound off on Friday’s news that the Department of Justice (DOJ) moved to refile tax-related charges against Hunter Biden in a different venue after his plea deal fell apart in Delaware.
The DOJ announced Friday that it would voluntarily vacate two tax charges against Hunter Biden without prejudice in order to refile the charges in the Central District of California or in Washington, D.C, rather than in Delaware. Cotton suggested that the DOJ moved to refile the charges against President Joe Biden’s son so that a more sympathetic judge adjudicates the matter and signs off on a lenient deal

Attorney General Merrick Garland’s appointment of U.S. Attorney David Weiss of Delaware as Special Counsel to investigate Hunter Biden contradicts federal regulations requiring that a special counsel be chosen from outside the government.
However, it would not be the first time that an Attorney General had ignored those regulations. In 2003, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald was appointed as Special Counsel in the Valerie Plame affair. He was appointed by Deputy Attorney General James Comey, who would later depart from procedure and regulations in announcing that Hillary Clinton would not be prosecuted.

As Katie wrote earlier today, the Justice Department has appointed a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden. The announcement from Attorney General Merrick Garland drops two weeks after the sweetheart plea deal for the president’s son fell apart, being tossed by a judge who couldn’t get over a few of the charges, including gun crimes. Most Americans who have committed what Hunter allegedly did go to prison for years. US Attorney David Weiss has been selected to spearhead this effort (via NBC News):

Former President Trump issued a scathing response to news that the woke Department of Justice is attempting to dismiss tax fraud charges against Hunter Biden. According to court documents, the Biden DOJ plans to re-file them in a different jurisdiction, which reveals the move could make way for them to reintroduce the exact charges, just in another district.
“Crooked Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and the entire Biden crime family have been protected by the Justice Department for decades even though there is overwhelming evidence and credible testimony detailing their wrongdoing of lying to the American people and selling out the country to foreign enemies

Obama biographer David Garrow revealed in a stunning interview this week that former President Barack Hussein Obama once told him that he hoped he, Garrow, never read the letters that he, Obama, had penned to his ex-girlfriend.
“Barack made it clear to me that he hoped I would never read them, I can put it that way. I think if the letters to Sheila ever become public, I think that will be a signal event,” Garrow told Fox News.
“Those letters would detail just how extremely serious and extremely intense a relationship that was and that it continued off and on into his Harvard Law School years,” he added.

Immediately after the announcement by Attorney General Merrick Garland that Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss had requested to be appointed Special Counsel, news cameras caught up with Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) at the Iowa State Fair for his take. Fox News didn’t catch the first few words of his statement, but here is a transcription of the rest: …[a] year ago we sent a letter saying we should have a Special Counsel. So the short answer to your question is, it’s about time. On the other hand, I have some question about Weiss doing it, because Johnson and I sent all of this material that we had from

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel on Thursday CONFIRMED that 8,000 to 10,000 suspected fraudulent registrations were delivered to Muskegon City Clerk prior to the 2020 election. The far-left Detroit News reported on this latest development on Thursday after reporting by The Gateway Pundit earlier this week.
A redacted police report describes how Meisch encountered a woman dropping off 8,000 – 10,000 completed voter registration applications. The Gateway Pundit reported that the “registrations included the same handwriting, non-existent addresses, and incorrect phone numbers.”

Maui's richest part-time resident Jeff Bezos and his partner Lauren Sanchez have said they will donate $100 million to help victims of the Maui wildfires.
In a statement issued by Sanchez, she said: 'Jeff and I are heartbroken by what's happening in Maui. We are thinking of all the families that have lost so much and a community that has been left devastated.
'The immediate needs are important, and so is the longer term rebuilding that will have to happen, even after much of the attention has subsided.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said Friday on FNC’s “America Reports” that Attorney General Merrick Garland appointing David Weiss as special counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation was akin to pouring gasoline on a fire.
Graham said, “This was a political decision, not a legal decision. They’re trying to put out a fire, and they just poured gasoline on it. Nobody in their right mind believes that making him a special counsel, Mr. Weiss, cleans up the mess that’s been created.”He continued, “The plea agreement blew up. And to think that the very guy who wrote the plea agreement is seriously going to continue to investigate the Bidens is laughable.

Judge Tanya Chutkin ruled Friday in Washington, D.C., that former President Donald Trump will be allowed to comment on his case publicly, but will not be allowed to comment on witnesses or to reveal witness testimony, including videos and transcripts.
The protective order largely rejected Special Counsel Jack Smith’s effort last Friday, in an emergency motion, to stop Trump from commenting on any of the evidence turned over by prosecutors to defense attorneys as part of the discovery process of the trial.

Comedienne Kathy Griffin played into a little 2017 nostalgia this week when she shared a photoshopped image of prosecutor Jack Smith holding a severed head of former President Donald Trump.
The image took Griffin’s infamous 2017 photo that featured her holding the bloodied head of the former president and replaced the faces with Jack Smith and a stunned Trump, lending to its more farcical appearance. Take a look: (Link to Photo) Jack Smith has brought two indictments against Trump — one for his alleged mishandling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago and the other for his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
