Former Vice President Mike Pence was met with vocal criticism and heckling from supporters of former President Donald Trump during a town hall meeting at American Legion Post 27 in Londonderry on Friday.
Pence was confronted by protestors questioning his loyalty to former President Trump and the American people and accusing him of disregarding the Constitution.
Trump supporters surrounded Mike Pence’s car as he arrived at his Friday town hall, shouting, “That’s a traitor,” “You’re a sellout,” according to ABC reporter Kelsey Walsh.
“Why did you sell out the people?” one protestor said.

This is moderate New Hampshire. Imagine if he had gone to a really red state.
He deserves all he's getting.

What's this Pence guy running for?

If he's getting this kind of reception in New Hampshire, I figure we'll never see his face in Oklahoma.

We need to watch very carefully as Pence sniffs around post-primary when Trump easily wins. He will be sniffing around to land a six figure job at some fancy conservative think tank. Any of those places hire him and then we know who they are too!

Pence's Vacation itinerary w/ the Biden's in Rehoboth includes sniffing for money, greasing Hunter's palm, paying for Joe's ice cream and biking with Jill to the bank and letting Major hump/bite you for as long as it takes' and hanging with Joe in the basement until nap time.

What is the point of certification? If he can't challenge the legitimacy of the electors to ensure a valid election, why bother to certify?

I've defended Pence regarding the certification process. He didn't have the right to reject electors. Image if Trump wins in 2024 and Kamala Harris rejects Trump electors. It's absurd to think that the loser in a presidential election can override the states in his favor.
That said, his conduct and comments of late have been despicable. In fact, it is disturbing that a vice president is now running against the president he served. He should get out and work on his pension by joining the useless "conservative" non-profits where failed politicians go to gain obscurity.

If the VP wasn't able to reject electors, why did they quietly change the rule?

I've never understood why Trump chose this guy to be his VP...a Bible-thumping moron with a 50's haircut who can't have a meal with a woman unless his wife is present.
Pathetic as a man. Pathetic as a leader. Go away fool.

Why Pence is running for president thinking he has a chance is beyond my level of understanding. Some way, some how there must be money involved. Maybe he gets to keep contributions, money given to keep Trump from the nomination but supposedly marked for his (Pence's) "campaign."

I get fund-raising emails from the Pence campaign asking for $1. I reply with basically the same words used in the article: traitor, back-stabber, sell-out, etc. They won't take me off the mailing list, though. So I reply the same to every one of them I get.

Mike Pence is highly intelligent. So why is he doing this? He knows he has no chance.

Pence is not required to be loyal to Trump but he is required to be loyal to the Constitution, the law and the American people - who just happen to be loyal to Trump. A man this dumb and clueless has no reason to be running for president, other than blind ambition.

Look how he waves to make it look like he's getting support instead of getting criticism and heckling. Disgusting.
