for Trump

Ron DeSantis said he will follow the primary election rules, whatever they may be – but said it's clear some state GOPs are trying to sway the results against smaller candidates.
The comment comes as Donald Trump still refuses to take the vow to support whichever candidate becomes the GOP nominee in order to participate in the debates. The former president, according to his own staff, also feels the debates are beneath him.
Trump posted to Truth Social on Monday that he would use the debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 23 to consider vice presidential candidates.

If I had been stabbed in the back and cheated by my own party as much as President Trump had, I wouldn’t vow anything to the GOP.

I think DeSantis needs to sit down and understand what his 'advisors' are having him do. If I wanted to make sure I never became president, I'd do what he's doing. I can't believe he's this clueless. Maybe he doesn't want to be president after all. Who knows. By this point, I wouldn't vote for him - ever.

Well #'s 1, 2 & 4, if the California GOP has changed its delegate selection rules to benefit Trump then that is a fact which cannot be denied or undone with your mocking posts. So where is the fault with DeSantis here?

# 8, I said that IF California has changed its delegate rules then that change is a fact. Perhaps you should read more carefully before you post.

This is what he is kvetching about. No one has given an opinion on this
"California’s Republican Party recently changed its primary election rules so that, if a candidate earns 50 percent or more of the vote, than all of the delegate votes go to them. Previously, all candidates competed in each district for the delegate's vote there.
'Clearly there's an effort with some of these state parties, you know, to bend it in one way,' DeSantis added. 'But that's not anything we can surmount, so bring it on.”
Someone handed this “opinion” to him which is why he is not trying to make much of a case. Dropping it; moving on.

I think DeSantis should drop out. His challenge to Trump puts him on the same side as this creepy prosecutor and the Democrats. I can’t stop what is happening in our country but I can vote for the person they are persecuting. And so should everyone who is appalled by what is happening.

As soon as I find the section in the Constitution that provides guidelines for primary debates I will form an opinion. As of now, they appear to be nothing but informal and biased Q and A sessions conducted by the media.

Um no, Ron, the Cali RNC recently tried to amend the rules from 'Winner Take All' delegates to proportioning per candidate to benefit you, buddy. I am starting to dislike this multinationalist GOPe guy more by the day.
