As much as it’s reported that the world is going through a transition away from fossil fuels to wind and solar energy, the data doesn’t support it.
The International Energy Agency released its 2023 Coal Market Update on Thursday, which shows that global coal consumption in 2022 rose by 3.3% to a record 8.3 billion tons. While the use of coal in European countries and the United States has declined, those reductions are offset by increases in Asian countries, primarily India and China.

Stop calling oil a " fossil fuel ". That's the left's phrase to control the narrative. To make it seem like oil is the old way and so called " green energy : is the new and good way to go. Oil is produced from hydrocarbons that are synthesized abiotically. In other words, dead dinosaurs or any dead animals are not needed. Our planet is an oil producing machine.

Communist China didn’t pay Joe Biden and his family millions to help the US. China wants our manufacturing base to be uncompetitive due to high energy costs.
Related, yesterday Joe Bribeme finally recognized his 4 year old granddaughter, Navy. Does this mean Navy gets her own LLCs in the Caymans? And that the other 9 Biden family members agreed to dilute their shares in the bribes. Does this also mean that Navy and her mom will soon be living in the WH with Hunter and other family members?

Coal, the other hydrocarbon fuel. One volcano can do more than all the emission controls ever imposed. All the green restrictions ever imposed on our economy are for nothing. https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/overheated-friday-july-28-2023-c

If it's true that most Americans are a mere $400 away from bankruptcy, as Kamala claims, why is this administration forcing our own citizens to "adapt" to more expensive fuels. Why must unemployed coal miners lose their jobs, while China and India have no such restrictions? And what human being with a conscience believes children mining cobalt in filthy conditions is an acceptable tradeoff for producing batteries for electric cars only the well to do in the US can afford?
If this administration WANTED to create a less prosperous citizenry, it would import poverty and redistribute wealth away from the people who earned it. Oh wait...

Regarding Post 8: Get incandescent bulbs while you can. I think the ban goes into effect next week. Incandescents available on ebay. I saw a listing for a 24 pack of 60 Watt soft white bulbs for $24.99, free shipping.

Because China realizes that climate change as it is presented is a total hoax. John Kerry goes to China, pollutes the air on his private jet and the Chinese tell this fool to get lost. Wake up.

Presumably the people in China and India, just don't understand the looming catastrophe we've been told is coming for the past few decades.
They really must be stupid people, huh?
Or, do they know something we aren't being told?

But destroying America at every level, making everything cost more, reducing our way of life is going to save the world. No. It's all about the money that is going into their bank accounts. While China and India and other countries switch on their lights we are learning how to make our own candles.
