The Iowa affiliate of the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the organizers of the RNC Lincoln Day Dinner in Des Moines, thought they would be cute by using a snarky song for the entrance music of President Donald John Trump.
Relax, we got this. There are more of us than them, and they hate us for it. Their efforts are laughable and will backfire as base voters are wide-eyed and awake to the Machiavellian constructs the RNC is famous for in their quest to control the illusion of choice. The RNC is as fake and phony as the astroturf under the feet of their manufactured candidates. Here’s President

Rona and her Pierre DeLecto Elites think anyone who doesn't blindly march to their drum beat is stupid and can be disrespected. Out of touch me thinks!

Huh? In an article that decries the song accompanying Trump’s walk to the lectern, the writer neglects to identify the title or the singer. Missing as well are the “snarky” lyrics. Where’s the beef? Paranoia on full display.

I literally just got off the phone with a solicitor from the RNC. This is exactly why I told her no--in no uncertain terms. She kept telling me that Ronna has no power, just a figurehead and can't keep the likes of McConnell, Romney, Cornyn, Thune, etc. in line with what MAGA voters want. So, exactly what would I be funding? She hung up (or the call was mysteriously disconnected).

One of the first things DJT Trump needs to do when elected is dismantle the deep state RNC and start again.

Sorry for the second post but #2 if you watched the video you'd know the song was "Only in America" by Brooks and Dunn.

Re #2, did he watch the video? The name of the song is immaterial. The part that was cued up for President Trump’s entrance was pretty pointed;
"The song was queued to 'one could end up goin’ to prison, one just might be president.’”
I used to have a wonderful poster on my office wall:
“Just because you’re paanoid doesn’t mean they are not out to get you.”
Dittos to #5… sales pitch a little too obvious ...

NO money to the RNC, ever, from me.
I send directly to the candidates, never via TNC.

Thank you #8 for quoting one line of the song. I did access the video accompanying this odd story. I certainly didn’t recognize the artist or the song and the lyric was unclear.
Obviously the massive “get Trump” effort is real. No argument from me. If Sundance hopes to be taken seriously, as opposed to being a paranoid hack, he would identify who chose the song, explain why it was objectionable.
Trump is a superb campaigner who pays close attention to the optics. Perhaps he chose the song himself. Certainly this article didn’t contain any real information but was an evidence free slam against imaginary enemies.

At most of these gatherings the candidates select their own walk on music...unless or until Trump complains that he was "sandbagged" by this? I'm leaning towards HE chose it, intentionally to create news coverage, churning "Mentions", we call that "Earned Media". He did his very effectively from the beginning of his candidacy and presidency, nearly 100% of news coverage was negative, and was commentary with a picture of him in the background instead of HIM saying anything, much of it taking pull quotes out of context. His response was to have a press avail to "apologize/Clarify" his remarks, the media all rolled cameras LIVE for that...at which he then gave a stump speech or policy speech, and made a short mention at the end about the "Controversial" item which had been the trigger. ALL of the media then had him on screen in his own words.
No mention so far that the choice of the song could be about the "Biden Kids" as much or more than Trump himself. Saint Beau "could have, should have been President"(-Joe Biden quote). Hunter on the other hand should have/could have...Might still get sent to Prison.

I dutifully contributed to the RNC preceding both Trump victories before I learned that they did not support the most popular candidate instead of the one that they wanted. No more. They can solicit their money from the same billionaires, special interests and foreign countries that the DNC uses. They can give Jeb another chance in 2028.

I won't say what happens to solicitations from the RNC, RNCC, and RNSC that come to my house, but when their post-paid envelopes are returned, they don't contain a donation.

Brooks and Dunn song is a step or two newer than the Lee Greenwood song, not that Lee's rendition is passe or anything, just that now it's a whole new day. ''Only in America.''

The RNC foisted Bush on us, as well as McCain and Romney. They get nothing from me but contempt.

Some posters don’t read and then go after the messenger. Sundance bugs them because he is usually right on target. As for PDJT’s choosing the song, he didn’t - the event planners would have done so - because it was played for all of the candidates. But the segment cued up for him, was delibeately offensive. One didn’t have to be paranoid to figure that out.
We know we are dealing with a few anti-Trumpers here - some familiar because they’ve beaten the same tired drums since 2015; others who are newer but unmistakable. We don’t buy what they are peddling.

Give it a rest. "Only in America" is a great song and I wonder if President Trump selected the song himself. The real enemy in our political world is the bats**t crazy Dems and we'd best be about beating them.

Ronna is a party planner, and I do not mean the Republican Party because they never plan anything. I mean children's parties and showers and uncomplicated get-togethers. No strategy involved. A party planner.
