On Friday’s edition of NBC’s “Hallie Jackson Now,” NBC News Chief White House Correspondent Peter Alexander reacted to President Joe Biden finally acknowledging the existence of his seventh grandchild in public by stating that “it really is on-brand with the President to acknowledge his entire family, to embrace family,” and stated that the move is partially a move for Biden “to inoculate himself against the criticism” he received for not acknowledging the child.
Alexander said that President Biden is “in some ways, trying to inoculate himself against the criticism that he hasn’t been acknowledging this seventh grandchild, now doing it publicly. And it really is on-brand with the President

He acknowledged the child. Now Biden, the administration, and the media will move on like nothing was ever wrong. Hypocrites.

Can someone explain to me like I'm a 10-year-old what it means to be "on-brand" when you acknowledge your grandchild after ignoring her for 4 years.

It's on-brand for NBC to have its head firmly planted up Biden's rear end.

The Biden's are absolutely craven. They use an innocent child, their very own grandchild, to take political heat off their bribery and criminal history. The cowards hide behind a 4 year old child, using her as a human shield from incoming political shots. It is disgusting to watch how low they will go. Maybe Hunter will actually take Navy to court with him next time, holding her hand on the way into the courthouse, claiming that he is spending quality time with his family.

#2, it's how the Democrats do, or say, something ONCE, then move on to state "that's old news".
It's their attempt to fool people, their regular voters, and in particular the suburban moms.

I hope this acknowledgement didn't come to pass only because joe just realized that Navy is his "type".

It is way too late to just now acknowledge a 4 year old grandchild.

He finally said he has another grandchild because he was politically challenged to do so. No other reason. This was political theater not a human gesture. We all know it. Frankly, if I was that child's mother I would keep her as far away from this loser family as long as possible. When she is an adult and wants to reach out she can. Until then no way. The s*** is beginning to hit the fan and for some reason FJB thinks this will help. Uh, no.

Oh please. The only reason he is acknowledging the child is because even the left wing media is beginning to publicize his abominable behavior.

Oh, please. It wasn’t Joe who put out the statement. He probably really doesn’t know that he has a seventh grandchild, since he doesn’t know much of anything these days. The statement was put out by the WH staff. If Joe really wants to acknowledge Navy, he needs to do it publicly and verbally. Along with an apology to her for being such an absolute shite about it.

Four years demonstrates the yawning gulf between the "brand" and the sick, cruel reality of Joe Biden.

This is the second nonsense phrase that seems to come from people associated with (attached to the backside of) Biden. The phrase ''on-brand'' is nearly as out of kilter as the phrase ''top of mind.'' Both of them give me brain hurt.

It's "on brand" for him to say any old thing any old time, then reverse himself.
