This group has been disrupting events for days. David highlighted some of the incidents which happened over the weekend. But there is apparently a concerted effort focused on shutting down traffic all around the city of London this week. Monday they held 30 separate disruptions. It marked the most Just Stop Oil protests so far on any one day, with a total of 30 slow marches with between six and 25 protesters each. The Met used “Section 12” powers to remove activists on streets across London on Monday morning as they tried to clog the capital’s roads. Dozens of them were in Whitehall and Westminster, the City of London, Islington,

Be interested to know who is pulling the puppet strings, paying the lame protesters who think they have a "message" to get out. Like no one hasn't heard the climate "We're All Doomed" schtick before. It feels like no progress ever gets done on real issues because of the cacophony of Climate and Transgenderism "issues". We never to get to focus on improving education and getting the economy working to improve the lives and conveniences for all.

If they really want it to stop just announce that the police will no longer interfere with people handling it themselves. The violence from frustrated people will clean this all up very quickly.

#3 is correct. The most effective way to get these Green radicals out of the street is to do something painful to them that causes them to move away from the street and not return. Broken bones would solve the problem; the Greens would move themselves rapidly if their body parts were being fractured. Ripping their glued skin from the street also make sense. If they're missing a large clump of hair or several layers of epidermis from both hands, they'll learn not to interfere with other people anymore. If they want to get in the way, they will pay.

With King Charles and Prince William fully in the green camp, expect more of this, not less. The green activists are unhinged and enjoy creating chaos in the west. However, will they turn their attention to the real polluters on the planet, China, India, and Mexico to name just a few. No, they always attack the West, the countries who are actively trying to do positive things for the environment. They devotion to the green cause will never allow them to protest the real polluters because they know they would be crushed.

#8 is correct. Six months. No fine, no dropped charges. Just six months eating jail food and dodging the predator inmates would fix this. We used to have chain gangs that actually broke rocks. We still have them here in the South. They are called work gangs and used to pick up trash and other useful work. Six months. No excuses. You might have one out of 100 who would repeat offend but the other 99 would never want to be arrested again.

Picking the soft targets is gutless, but not stupid. If they came to Texas, they'd choose Austin, not in Amarillo, Abilene or San Angelo. In the nation formerly known as "Great" Britain, perhaps Birmingham, 30 % Muslim, might provide some pushback that wouldn't be punished inasmuch as they are protected from the laws the rest of the people must follow, e.g., if there's no penalty for child assault why shouldn't it be OK to hit-and-run a bump in the road?

Carlos De Oliveira, Mar-a-Lago's head of maintenance, has been named as the third defendant alongside the former president and his valet Walt Nauta. In addition, prosecutors are piling more charges on former President Donald Trump. They are additional charges related to obstruction of justice and willful retention of national defense information. Special Counsel Jack Smith's team added them to the existing indictment Thursday evening.

A series of internal Facebook emails obtained by the House Judiciary Committee confirm that the Biden White House placed significant pressure on the company to crack down on “misinformation” related to the Covid pandemic in early 2021. The emails, released publicly by committee chairman Jim Jordan on Thursday, suggest that in some cases Facebook and Instagram complied with the White House’s content-moderation requests in order to avoid public and private backlash. One April 2021 email sent by a Facebook employee on behalf of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg acknowledged that, “We are facing continued pressure from external stakeholders, including the [Biden] White House.”

Lawyers for Donald Trump were told Thursday by prosecutors to expect an indictment against the former president in connection with his efforts to reverse his loss in the 2020 election, NBC News reported. Trump's lawyers Todd Blanche and John Lauro met Thursday morning in Washington, D.C., with prosecutors for Department of Justice special counsel Jack Smith and were informed of the planned indictment, according to NBC. At around the same time, the grand jury that could soon vote on criminally charging Trump assembled in Washington federal court. Multiple members of that panel were seen entering the E. Barrett Prettyman Courthouse at around 8:30 a.m. ET, NBC reported.

Hunter Biden could face new federal charges related to his failure to register as a foreign agent while he was cutting lucrative deals with Ukraine, China and other countries where his politically powerful father held sway. Prosecutors Wednesday said there is an ongoing probe of President Biden’s son that potentially includes offenses related to the Foreign Agent Registration Act, or FARA. Prosecutors made the statement during a federal court proceeding where Hunter Biden was slated to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and agree to a deal to spare him a felony gun charge.

It is a small study, but a very disturbing one. We keep being told that injury to the heart from the COVID vaccine is very rare, but a study done in Basel Switzerland indicates that the rate of subclinical myocarditis after the COVID vaccine is hardly rare at all. In fact, in a study with only 777 participants with a median age of 37--all medical professionals getting the COVID vaccine–the incidence of elevated cardiac enzymes 3 days after injection was pretty substantial, at almost 3%. The CDC did a study and from that, they claimed the rate was 0.001%, or one out of 100,000. 2.8% is a lot higher than 0.001%. Another 0.3%

On Wednesday, Hunter Biden appeared in federal court in Delaware to plead guilty to two misdemeanors for failing to pay millions in federal taxes and to accept a pre-trial diversion agreement on a gun charge, all in exchange for two years probation with no jail time. The sweetheart plea deal that was widely panned by experts fell apart in court and was ultimately rejected by the judge, forcing Hunter Biden to plead “not guilty.” Suddenly, the president’s son’s “Get Out of Jail Free” card was gone, and the Democrats’ hopes of putting the Hunter Biden saga behind them were dashed. This is certainly going to be a huge problem for Democrats

The Fed left the door open to further rate hikes this year, with Chair Jerome Powell telling reporters in a news conference that additional tightening is possible unless inflation continues to cool rapidly. In June, Biden was charged with felony gun possession and two misdemeanor counts of failing to pay taxes in 2017 and 2018. The original deal included a recommendation of probation for the tax violations, while the gun charge for illegally owning a Colt Cobra .38 Special handgun would be dropped and potentially wiped from Biden’s record if he met certain conditions laid out in court. The late-night Tuesday filing from Giuliani says he doesn’t contest Moss and Freeman’s accusations that he smeared them after the 2020 election. Notably, he also refuses to concede that his statements caused damages to Moss or Freeman. CNN has reached out to a lawyer for Freeman and Moss.

When Joe Biden tapped Kamala Harris to be his running mate in 2020, it was perhaps the most easily predicted vice presidential choice in recent memory. Biden had made it clear that after emerging from the most diverse Democratic presidential candidate field in history, he would select a woman to join him on the ticket. The dynamics of the Democratic Party, which relies heavily on the votes of African American women to win elections, made it seem likely that Biden would select a running mate from this demographic group, especially as the murder of George Floyd brought race issues to the top of the public agenda.

For offenses that most certainly would have landed you or me in jail for years, Hunter got . . . . . . [drum roll] . . . . . . nothing. Nada. Zero jail time. He didn’t even have to pay all of his unpaid taxes because the prosecution dallied so long that the statute of limitations expired. And the deal apparently immunized him against unrelated charges. He would walk, a new man. Well, not entirely.
