The prosecutors gave Hunter Biden a sweetheart plea bargain to end the tax fraud and gun case against him. For offenses that most certainly would have landed you or me in jail for years, Hunter got . . .
. . . [drum roll] . . .
. . . nothing. Nada. Zero jail time. He didn’t even have to pay all of his unpaid taxes because the prosecution dallied so long that the statute of limitations expired.
And the deal apparently immunized him against unrelated charges. He would walk, a new man.
Well, not entirely.

Attorney General Merrick "Gestapo" Garland sips his cognac and simply says, ongoing investigation.

Hey, it will last long enough for Joe to pardon him for all offenses on or about January 19, 2025. Till then, he's still under investigation, and darn, we in the DOJ/iRS would love to tell you what we've discovered, but gosh or golly gee, it's under investigation and we can't disclose that outside of court. So, so, so sorry.
Now I gotta get on my government provided jet. It's time for vacation!!

I just hope this isn't another DC Swamp kabuki dance in which we are all disappointed when they paper over the end result and smirk at the hoi polloi.

The whole kerfuffle was triggered by his lawyer making a fake call to the court clerk, pretending to be from the prosecutors office and trying to get other evidence quashed. It was a fait accompli, the judge would have just signed off without even looking at anything.
As always...they ALWAYS go just a bit toooo far. and exceed the "Suspension of disbelief" of the common folk.

I wonder if Hunter’s lawyer made that call after hitting his bong on the balcony while Hunter was visiting…

Postscript: It's not widely reported, but the judge also set conditions on Hunter staying free on his own recognizance. He's required to seek a job (presumably something other than a half mil a year "working" for a Ukrainian oil company) and stay free of drugs and alcohol, else he can be confined, i.e. jailed. This could get interesting.

The defense lawyers got caught trying to remove evidence via fraud.
The prosecution lawyers gt caught fabricating a stay out of jail forever card for Hunter.
Hunter is stressed out and cannot go near drugs or alcohol, else he ends up in jail.
Daddy and Garland are going to have a very interesting talk this evening.
Don't be surprised if MSNBC's lead story tomorrow is that this judge was at the Capitol on Jan 6.

Oopsie! They weren’t supposed to say the big part out loud!
Now they have to keep Hunter off drugs…and he must find a job, and pay taxes! The horror of it all may be too much for him!

#11, As you say, the horror of it may be too much for him (meaning Hunter). Ever think that is part of the plan? Hear me out. What if pushing Hunter beyond the point he can stand it and he takes himself out. The case goes away, Joe Biden is devastated to the point he must retire or he will ride the sympathy vote to victory. I apologize for my cynicism, but the people with the power in DC have done horrific things to change the course of history into the direction they want it to go. Put nothing past them. They know this is the end of their manipulations if democrats or the “right” Republican does not win the election. They know Trump is loaded for bear and he is one determined man. We all know these soulless monsters are more than capable of doing anything to retain control and they have extremely powerful friends all around the world that would willingly help them. It’s going to be a miracle if we don’t end up in a civil war or we aren’t drawn into a nuclear WWIII. There are very high stakes in this election.

Hunter should be going into withdrawal right about now. I wonder if the WH has a locked padded room or a gurney with arm and leg restraints.

Interesting premise, #11. While I am certainly no expert when it comes to drug absuse, requiring Hunter to suddenly abstain from cocaine, one of the most addictive drugs on the planet, would drive him to insanity, and then what after that. How's he going to get a job and pass the drug test. His only way out on this is for biden the cheater to pardon him. This way, Hunter can go back to cocaine at his convenience. But, ruh roh, wait until Trump takes the biden crime family, the various departments of weaponization, and the msm apart in 2024 for covering up their crimes.

Commies and leftists are evil, scheming, and vicious - - but there's one saving grace - - they're also very stupid and incompetent.
Those fabulous "prosecutors" and "defense attroneys" put on a better clown show than Emmitt Kelly or Bozo ever did. What a pack of morons!

For those who have cynicism about Hunter's deal etc. let me say as a person of faith,
God is still in control!
Have faith! Pray for His Will to be done.
We're praying (as things get hot politically) for a national revival. It seems it's only in tough times, do people's eyes turn towards the Lord.

Low life lawyer and low life prosecutor will work out some dirty deal to save druggie bidet. The vegetable will not let this stand. I have a feeling we will be disappointed again.
