This girl is amazing. In fact she and her husband appeared on The Amazing Race a few years ago. The game has 11 or 12 couples competing as the "race" around the world. As the travel they complete tasks relating to the country they are in. The tasks are mainly physical and can be quite difficult. Many time two arms don't seem to be enough. Rowing, rope climbing, swimming, etc., Bethany didn't shrink from any challenge. She just did it. They made it to the finals but were a few minutes behind the winner. It was an incredible feat. It is so nice to know that good, brave and loving people really exist.

Microsoft will pay a fine of $20 million to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that it illegally collected and retained the data of children who signed up to use its Xbox video game console. The agency charged that Microsoft gathered the data without notifying parents or obtaining their consent, and that it also illegally held onto the data. Those actions violated the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, the FTC stated.

Michael J. Fox took a tumble during a “Back to the Future” panel at a fan convention on Sunday. Fox, 61, attended the Fan Expo in Philadelphia along with his former co-stars from the film franchise for a Q&A at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. When Fox was introduced to the panel, he bowed to cast members Christopher Lloyd, 84, and Tom Wilson, 64, who were already onstage. But Fox — who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at age 29 in 1991 — seemed to lose his balance and was seen tripping over his feet

UPDATE: Independent journalist Ed Krassenstein reported late Friday that the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir was NOT stopped by the Capitol Police, and the Congressional staff member who was with the group lied about having the proper permissions. Krassenstein acquired a statement from the Capitol Police. “Recently somebody posted a video of a children’s choir singing the Star-Spangled Banner in the U.S. Capitol Building and wrongfully claimed we stopped the performance because it ‘might offend someone.’ Here is the truth,” they said. “Demonstrations and musical performances are not allowed in the U.S. Capitol. Of course, because the singers in this situation were children, our officers were reasonable and allowed

Bless his heart. Perhaps, since he has been around since dirt, President Joe Biden feels the same way about U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi — after all, at the age of 83, the California Democrat is three years his senior. Biden was speaking at the 2023 We Are EMILY Gala last week, honoring the “incredible” former speaker — so incredible that the president appeared to credit Pelosi with helping “rescue the economy in the Great Depression.” “I honestly believe that — Nancy, I’ve been saying this for a long time, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart — Nancy Pelosi is going to go down in history as one

"More importantly is the message this sends to all Black women, men and children that you deserve to be comfortable wearing your natural hair at school and in the workplace without being perceived as unprofessional or suffering other negative consequences," she said.

The so-called Svingerud Stone, discovered in a cremation pit filled with burnt bones and charcoal that date between 1 A.D. and 250 A.D., measured 312.2 inches by 12.6 inches. It was uncovered during an excavation of a grave field in the Hole municipality at the Ringerike region, west of the Norwegian capital Oslo.

If, like me, you find the presidential debate format a rather meaningless exercise, you will be astonished at what one-on-one interviews by a skilled interrogator can accomplish. At the Iowa family Leader conference, Tucker Carlson interviewed several leading contenders for president Tim Scott, Asa Hutchinson, Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Ron DeSantis. If the participants thought this was going to be another tongue bath, they were certainly surprised. He asked hard questions and some of their answers exposed their muddled thinking. At least two of them – Asa Hutchinson and Mike Pence -- were clear losers

John Kirby, the coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council, told Fox News host Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday” that at the end of the probe, there wasn’t enough “forensic evidence” to pinpoint the perpetrator. On July 2, a bag of cocaine was discovered in a lobby of the West Wing.

The supporters of former President Trump are absolutely correct about one thing. If every single Republican pledged their allegiance to him and fell in line he’d win the nomination easily. But he’d also lose the general election, again. He does not receive enough support from outside the traditional Republican and MAGA base to win in 2024. Hillary Clinton beat Trump by roughly 3 million in the popular vote in 2016. While Trump indeed did win the election by taking the required 270 electoral votes, just a few thousand votes in each of the key swing states would have changed that outcome into a Hillary Clinton landslide victory in 2016.

A federal judge in Oregon ruled on Friday that a new state gun law does not violate the US Constitution, keeping one of the toughest gun laws in the country in place. US District Court Judge Karin Immergut ruled that Ballot Measure 114’s restrictions on large-capacity magazines that hold more than 10 rounds are constitutional because these magazines are “not commonly used for self-defense, and are therefore not protected by the Second Amendment.” “Even if LCMs are protected by the Second Amendment, BM 114’s restrictions are consistent with this Nation’s history and tradition of regulating uniquely dangerous features of weapons and firearms to protect public safety,” the ruling said.
