Child Sex Changes To Take Effect

A federal appeals court allowed Tennessee’s ban on child sex change procedures to take effect, granting the state’s emergency motion to stay a lower court’s injunction. Trump-appointed Judge Eli Richardson temporarily blocked Tennessee’s law on June 29, just days before it was set to take effect, voicing concerns that it interfered with parents’ “fundamental right to direct the medical care of their children.” After midnight July 8, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals granted Tennessee’s request to pause the preliminary injunction while the appeal is pending.

You want a sex change? Move to New Jersey, or one of the other states where it's legal. True for an abortion, too. Go for it.

Altering a child's natural physical and hormonal balance in an effort to satisfy a selfish, dare say, narcissistic need for attention is not a matter of "making a medical choice." That phrase is reserved for organic disease and disorders.

Hmmmm... I seem to recall a phrase, it goes something like this: "Those powers not expressly given to the Federal government are reserved for the States, and the People."

A federal judge in Louisiana rejected a request from the government to delay an order he imposed on Independence Day that banned federal agencies from communicating with social media companies. The Justice Department will likely ask the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to intervene in the case after U.S. District Court Judge Terry Doughty on Monday refused to pause his July 4 nationwide injunction that significantly limits how Biden administration officials can communicate with social media companies, according to a single-page filing.

A Delaware assistant U.S. attorney was briefed in October 2020 that a confidential human source (CHS) had reported Hunter and Joe Biden each received $5 million in bribes, Sen. Chuck Grassley revealed Sunday in a letter to Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss. (snip) Grassley then highlighted the numerous ways Wolf appeared to have obstructed the investigation into Hunter Biden’s potentially criminal business activities. (snip) Wolf also refused to allow agents to search Joe Biden’s guest house, even though there was “more than enough probable cause,” and she prevented investigators from searching a storage unit used by the now-president’s son, the letter said.

On June 21, Harvard Divinity School (HDS), Harvard’s home for theological studies, released a summer reading list that recommended books ranging from a biography on a genderless, 18th century preacher, to novels exploring contemporary racism in America. The list features a recommendation from Jude Sylvan, a 2020 HDS alumna and “nonbinary” minister at First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake City, who wrote in a 2018 HDS bulletin that the “desire of the later Gospel writers to take up the pen parallels the contemporary phenomenon of fanfiction.” Sylvan created Beloved King: A Queer Bible Musical, and has delivered sermons titled, “Joseph and the Amazing Pretty Princess Dress,” “Abortion & the Bible,”

The infiltration of wokeness is hardly limited to education and the workplace. (snip) It should be no surprise, then, that the legendary Spanish artist was “canceled” at his own exhibition. (snip) The exhibition is entitled “Picasso’s Muses: Between Inspiration and Obsession.” It has a description, both on the museum website and posted on the display, which pays tribute to Picasso’s great contribution to modern art. It then quickly pivots to giving the woke, feminist critique of Picasso: “Picasso’s name and legacy are also undivorceable from the misogynistic or abusive behavior he demonstrated toward women.”

Just last month, approximately 4,100 people gathered at Pirate's Cove Beach for what was labeled as one of the largest water baptisms in history; however, on Saturday Pastor Laurie and Harvest Christian Fellowship leaders helped to baptize 4,500 people into the Christian faith, surpassing the previous record held by Oceans Church.

It’s hardly news that the government has long managed news reporting through a combination of leaks, favored treatment, and threats. With the growth of social media and the COVID-19 “pandemic,” the Biden administration blatantly used every tool in its arsenal to censor constitutionally protected free speech. Posters on the pre-Musk Twitter and Facebook, to take the most obvious examples, were regularly shadow banned and even silenced altogether from posting alternate views to those of the government. This week, Judge Terry A. Doughty in a 155-page memorandum detailed the government’s manipulation of social media.

The woke Church of England’s latest assault on the tenets of the Christian religion is apparently the Lord’s Prayer, which the Archbishop of York has criticised for being “oppressively patriarchal” over its reference to “Our Father”. During a meeting of the General Synod, Church of England’s governing body, Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell called into question the use of the Lord’s Prayer, branding the prayer offered to Christians by Jesus Christ during the Sermon on the Mount as “problematic”.

The parent company for the left-wing colonialists known as Ben & Jerry’s has lost $2 billion in market cap after the colonialists hypocritically smeared America on the Fourth of July. Looks like Ben & Jerry’s is becoming “The Bud Light of Ice Cream.” The New York Post reports that shares of Unilever, Ben & Jerry’s parent company, “slid 0.8% Thursday after closing down 0.5% the previous day.” That equaled a market cap drop from $130.2 billion to 128.5 billion. Remember that Ben & Jerry’s is a small part of Unilever, a massive, century-old British multinational that sells dozens of household brands.

A disciplinary committee for the D.C. Bar Association recommended that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani be disbarred due to his "destructive" activity around the 2020 election. In a 40-page decision, the committee for the District of Columbia Board on Professional Responsibility ruled that Giuliani had inflicted severe damage against the justice system by pursuing "frivolous" and "destructive" lawsuits during the 2020 election. Giuliani had led legal efforts from President Donald Trump to prove his accusations of election fraud, but judges found no merit to his findings.

The headlines were stark and specific. Reuters claimed, “World registers hottest day ever recorded on July 3.” Well, “ever recorded” is misleading since the records have only been “recorded” since 1979. But what kind of a headline would that have been? At least the BBC was honest about their scare headline: “World’s hottest day since records began.” The bottom line: We’re all going to burn up and we’re all going to die unless we throw an hysterical climate change tantrum and demand that our government take panicky steps to save us from the climate change demons. There’s no doubt that this Independence Day was hot. It was very hot. It was uncomfortably hot

An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.” Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy. “I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said,

Stein’s Law holds that “If something cannot go on forever, it will stop.” The late Herbert Stein made the observation about economic trends, but his axiom perfectly describes Joe Biden’s shaky dance with political death. The president is trying to navigate a narrow path between two potential disasters. Each one could prove fatal to his tenure, but if the twain shall meet, he doesn’t have a prayer. And it’s a near certainty they will meet because the facts we already know are overwhelmingly stacked against him and more damaging information is coming soon. One track of his predicament stems from general public unhappiness with his performance.

Major legal rulings that dismantled the use of race in college admissions, undermined protections for LGBTQ people and tossed out President Joe Biden’s student debt relief program marked the end of a Supreme Court term in which the conservative supermajority continued to exert its dominance. The majority also doubled down on a controversial legal theory that limits the power of federal agencies to take unilateral action. Meanwhile, the justices rejected a far-fetched argument that would have limited the role of state courts in election disputes and turned away an aggressive attempt to challenge Biden administration immigration policy – both areas in which lawyers on the right might have overreached in their arguments.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was slammed for bowing multiple times when she met with China's vice premier He Lifeng, as some critics say the protocol error is a sign of American weakness. Yellen, who served as chair of the Federal Reserve before becoming Joe Biden's top financial official, wrapped up her first visit to China as treasury secretary on Sunday. Moments after bowing at least three times, Yellen then stumbled over He's name, calling him 'Vice Premier Hu.' Both Washington and Beijing said the meetings during her four-day trip were fruitful, although the visit - designed to help smooth a rocky relationship - did not generate any concrete agreements.
