The woke Church of England’s latest assault on the tenets of the Christian religion is apparently the Lord’s Prayer, which the Archbishop of York has criticised for being “oppressively patriarchal” over its reference to “Our Father”. During a meeting of the General Synod, Church of England’s governing body, Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell called into question the use of the Lord’s Prayer, branding the prayer offered to Christians by Jesus Christ during the Sermon on the Mount as “problematic”.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is holding a screening of the film "Sound of Freedom" for members of Congress on Tuesday evening, he told reporters.
"Tonight, I’m going to have another movie night, we’re going to show the ‘Sound of Freedom,’" McCarthy said at the top of an impromptu press conference. He added that the low-budget film’s star, Jim Caviezel, and Tim Ballard, whom the film is based on, would also be in attendance.

The Coalition on Homelessness sued the City and County of San Francisco seeking an injunction against towing scofflaw cars that piled up parking tickets, and the trial court had denied the petition. But the Court of Appeals reversed, because “appellant [Coalition on Homelessness] presented declarations regarding the severe impacts of vehicle tows on unhoused San Francisco residents.”
