Trump’s dominance of GOP field has America
bracing for a toxic campaign

CNN — As America celebrated its independence, while divided on the true nature of its values, it also braced for a toxic presidential campaign likely to deepen its political trauma and again push the election system to its limits. Donald Trump, for example, put on a July Fourth weekend show of force, highlighting his early dominance of the Republican race for president and the stiff task his rivals face in trying to thwart his bid to win their party’s nomination for the third time in a row.

Remember, liberals lie in terms of origin. They shoot someone, then scream loudly about the bystander who just committed murder. They are just signaling that THEY intend the coming campaign to be toxic on their part, which they will promptly blame on Trump and his supporters.

The author is worried about a toxic campaign season, really? We are living in a politically charged nuclear dump site and we have managed to bear it. We may not like it, but we are surviving and I can assure the author what will do us all in is another administration like this one, Biden or not. It really doesn’t matter. We have to make sure that no democrat comes close to sitting in the White House ever again. I say that because I don’t believe the radical arm which is primarily democrats’ majority support are so committed to their cultural and total transformation of this country that they will never change. One thing Obama did was completely change the trajectory of the democrat party. He sent it speeding into orbit around every godless, Marxist, fascist, socialist, and communist ideology out there. We either fight like our survival depends upon it during this election cycle or we will lose. Democrats and establishment republicans expect us to be cowed by their disingenuous calls for civility while they wreak havoc using every dirty trick in the book. We cannot win this one unless we put on the gloves and fight. If that offends some people, how in the world have they survived the onslaught by this radical cabal against everything we hold near and dear? We didn’t start this fight but by all that is good and Holy, we have to end it.

France is on fire again. For over a week, rioters in urban centers across the country have looted and torched stores, public buildings, and vehicles. French law enforcement has cracked down on the destruction, arresting thousands of the rioters. The death of Algerian 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk triggered the riots, after police shot him. The corporate media have done their best to stress that Merzouk was a generally good kid who didn’t have a criminal record, liked to play rugby, and was studying to become an electrician. Yet he attended a school for troubled kids.

Many factors have contributed to the downfall of America’s schools. One rarely discussed issue is the disproportionate praise heaped on the teaching industry, which has led teachers to believe the scope of their influence ought to extend beyond the teaching of facts and figures. As a society, we have praised teachers to the extent that even mild criticism of the profession is met with a chorus of boos. “My sister is a teacher!” When discussing widespread problems in the profession, instead of presenting an actual argument, those who reflexively defend the industry will often mention having friends or relatives who are teachers, as if this anecdotal tidbit is a meaningful response.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is trying to put one over on America. In her dissent from the high court’s long-overdue ruling against racial preferences in college admissions, she cited an utterly bogus statistic. For high-risk Black newborns, having a Black physician more than doubles the likelihood that the baby will live,” she wrote in rationalizing Harvard’s bigotry against Asian-American applicants. Yet that black-infant mortality number is obvious bunk. If it were true, it would mean thousands of black infants dying every year thanks to white doctors’ secret racism. But the actual survival rates are 99.55% for black infants, 99.68% for white ones.

Of late, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) have come under fire from nearly all corners of Congress. More than fifteen legislative proposals have been filed on changing the way PBMs operate, while six committees in Congress have convened hearings on the topic. Will all this attention lead to a good outcome for patients and taxpayers, many of whom have never even heard of the term “PBM”? It’s possible, but only if Congress takes care to enact free market reforms that boost visibility on PBMs’ pricing practices, rather than tipping the scales in favor of heavy-handed government regulators.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s government abruptly collapsed on Friday amid infighting over migration policy. Rutte, who’s led the Netherlands since 2010, effectively brought his fourth administration to an end after he gave his coalition partners an ultimatum to limit the right to family reunions for refugees from war zones. The coalition partners — Rutte’s VVD, the Christian Democrats, progressive D66 and the smaller Christian Union — had been in talks over asylum policy for weeks. Though they were close to a deal, the conflict escalated Wednesday when Rutte abruptly introduced non-negotiable demands. The troubles snowballed from there.

An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.” Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy. “I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said,

One track of his predicament stems from general public unhappiness with his performance.

The majority also doubled down on a controversial legal theory that limits the power of federal agencies to take unilateral action. Meanwhile, the justices rejected a far-fetched argument that would have limited the role of state courts in election disputes and turned away an aggressive attempt to challenge Biden administration immigration policy – both areas in which lawyers on the right might have overreached in their arguments.

Moments after bowing at least three times, Yellen then stumbled over He's name, calling him 'Vice Premier Hu.' Both Washington and Beijing said the meetings during her four-day trip were fruitful, although the visit - designed to help smooth a rocky relationship - did not generate any concrete agreements.
