Maine may soon allow elective abortions up until birth, pending final approval from the state’s governor.
The bill — H.P. 1044, An Act to Improve Maine’s Reproductive Privacy Laws — would allow a woman to receive a late-term abortion at any point if it is determined to be “necessary” by a doctor. It’s likely the legislation will be codified. Maine Governor Janet Mills, a Democrat, introduced the bill in January alongside legislative leadership, both also Democrats: House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross and Senate President Troy Jackson. At the time, Mills credited the case of Maine woman Dana Peirce as justification for the expanded legalization of abortion.

Parents; "We really want a girl."
Doctor: "These are twins, both boys."
Parents: "Oh dear, that is not what we were hoping for."
Doctor: "Would you like to abort?"
I continue to be amazed by those who have no fear of God. God help them.

I am not responsible for the decisions or souls of the residents of Maine. I can only pray and try to convince them that the destruction of souls provides little opportunity for salvation. Those voters cannot wash their hands of this.

Should allow abortions up to the age of the Governor. How old IS the gov? Let's abort the Gov and leave the babies alone. If we can get a majority to sign a bill for that will the Gov walk into the fire? Easy to kill those unable to object. (or vote).

Follow the money - Maine is setting itself up to become an abortion tourism destination.
This is the epitome of evil.

This is their right and choice to make such a law, if that's what Maine voters want(ed).
However, it's interesting to see all of these decisions (choices) by Democrats to not choose reasonable or responsible laws, but decide to push the extreme choice.
Now, in short order this will remove the issue from the ballot box. Once enshrined it will be very difficult to alter or change, which is what they want, again, it's their choice to be extreme.

As far as I'm concerned, if they wait until that Baby is born, it's then Murder and the Mother should go to Jail for killing a live Baby!! I know it's a Viable Baby long before it's actually born but I'm pretty sure we couldn't get away with calling it and murder and getting a Judge to agree. Pretty hard though to not call a LIVE BIRTH, someone who the Doctor actually HAS TO KILL himself, not Murder! Seems the doctor should go to Jail along with the Mother! And, exactly are they going to kill this Baby? Smother it? Throw it against a wall? Will take a pretty Crooked Doctor to pull that off and not be prosecuted!

Child sacrifice to the gods of anthropomorphic climate change -- when the ban on natural gas goes into effect, people in Main can burn dead babies to heat their homes. Someone will need to devise a way to convert that grim energy source into a form that can power cars there, too.

Bets are being taken on how many doctors will find that a toe fungus makes it "necessary." Normally I would find this to be a heinous law but the fewer people born into Maine, the better.

I am from Massachusetts, and we new englanders have traditionally referred to our neighbors up north as "Maniacs," because of their sometimes foolish and aberrant behavior. However if our neighbors approve of this horrible law, then we should henceforth call them "Baby killers."

I assume that they dismembered this baby in the womb. And I assume that this baby had the ability to fill pain. How is killing a baby regardless if viable in this manner humane??

#12, depending on the circumstances killing a child in the womb is sometimes called murder. It a pregnant woman is shot and she and her baby both die, that is a dual homicide in a court of law. The difference is the desire of the mother - if the baby is wanted, it’s murder. If the baby is unwanted, no problem. Assuming the woman who was murdered wanted the baby.
