The same goes for the brain, which is why it’s important to engage in mentally challenging activities every now and then – anything from reading or a game of Trivial Pursuit to watching Jeopardy or engaging in a vigorous debate. That last one, by the way, is the easiest and most fun, because talking to people is fun. Liberals, however, gave up on the concept of debate a while ago, and now are incapable of it (and not just because their ideas are horrible failures).

After a speech in Romania last week, I was asked a question by a young member of the audience that, remarkably, I don’t remember ever having been asked: What is leftism? The question seems so simple and so basic to understanding contemporary life that you would think it would be posed frequently — and if it weren’t, the reason would be that almost anyone who cares about society would already know how to answer it. But the question is rarely posed, and few know how to answer it.

Colorado has a teachers’ union problem. From embracing gender ideology amid drag show field trips to enshrining anti-white initiatives in collective bargaining agreements, Colorado teachers’ unions have repeatedly shown their penchant for left-wing politics at the expense of students and communities. This April, the Colorado Education Association (CEA) passed a resolution condemning capitalism, citing its fundamental “exploitation of children, public schools, land, labor, and/or resources.” Due to seemingly endless resources from their national organizations, teachers’ unions often go unchecked in school districts, especially in deep blue states.

The investigation into Hunter Biden has supposedly lasted five years. After five years of investigation the Biden DOJ found Hunter Biden guilty of TWO MISDEMEANORS and ONE GUN CHARGE! Of course, this is a complete bastardization of the US Justice System. The serial criminal is slapped with misdemeanors after we know he was using classified documents leaked to him by his father to set up lucrative deals with foreign officials.

It is impossible for me to read reports of the Biden administration negotiating a deal to placate Iran’s Islamist regime today, without bringing me back to my cell in Iran’s notorious Evin prison in 2009. What the Biden administration is doing is misguided and dangerous. It will not bring peace or change the nature of the Islamic regime and its goals. It will only embolden and empower them, giving them billions of dollars to spend on their evil web of global terror, persecution of women and religious and ethnic minorities in Iran, and goal to destroy Israel.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is, on many counts, a curious choice for President Joe Biden to honor with a state visit. Since Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine 16 months ago, India has boosted its economy by purchasing increasing quantities of cheap Russian oil. Human rights groups and political opponents have accused Modi of stifling dissent and introducing divisive policies that discriminate against Muslims and other minorities. And India’s foreign minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, has espoused a worldview in which there are no allies or friends, only “frenemies.”

LOS ANGELES (AP) — An effort to disbar conservative attorney John Eastman, who devised ways to keep President Donald Trump in the White House after his defeat in the 2020 election, will begin Tuesday in Los Angeles. Eastman is expected to spend the day testifying before the State Bar of California in a proceeding that could result in him losing his license to practice law in the state. He faces 11 disciplinary charges stemming from his development of a dubious legal strategy that was aimed at helping Trump remain in power by disrupting the counting of state electoral votes.

Two top House committees will be hearing directly from Special Counsel John Durham this week following the release of his scathing report that found the Department of Justice and the FBI had no basis to launch the Trump-Russia probe. Durham was appointed by then-Attorney General Bill Barr in 2019 to look into misconduct related to 'Crossfire Hurricane', which investigated now-debunked Trump-Russia collusion allegations. He concluded four years later that the FBI opened the flawed probe 'based on raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence.' On Tuesday, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) led by Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, is holding a closed-door hearing with Durham.

"God save the Queen!" barked Joe Biden at the conclusion of a recent speech about gun control. What was he talking about? No one has any idea, probably least of all Biden. This is the man Democrats want to run for another four years in the Oval Office. It’s one thing to tumble over words or sandbags, as the president has recently done. It’s another to fly off into mental outer space. Surely someone is going to step in before November 2024 and end this charade. Chances are, that won’t be the Democratic National Committee, which is scrambling to make sure Uncle Joe gets another four years.

Federal agencies are secretly accumulating mountains of data that could be used for “blackmail, stalking, harassment and public shaming” of American citizens. That allegation doesn’t come from a pink-haired civil-liberties fanatic — it’s in a new report for the nation’s chief spymaster, Avril Haines. The Fourth Amendment recognized Americans’ right “to be secure . . . against unreasonable searches and seizures.” But Washington is mothballing that lofty standard for a new motto: “Those who have nothing to hide have nothing to fear.” The latest federal surveillance tsunami is being spurred by purchases of commercially available information (CAI) that private companies vacuum up from data from smartphones, computers and other digital devices and trackers.
Biden Could Lose First Two Primary Contests

The DNC has changed their primary schedule to make South Carolina the first state that gets to vote, a move that annoyed many of their own voters in New Hampshire and Iowa. The reasons for this move are fairly obvious. South Carolina is the state that dragged Biden across the finish line in 2020 and the DNC wanted to avoid a situation that could embarrass Biden and the party in 2024. Democrats in New Hampshire and Iowa could ignore the DNC however, and that would open up the possibility that RFK or another Democrat could best Biden in the first two Democrat primary contests.

One of the most vital things for a successful dictatorship is military control. A politically neutral military composed of people loyal to the country, rather than its leadership, represents an ongoing threat to a despot. For centuries, America has had that politically neutral military, but the Biden administration is accelerating a process begun under Obama, which is to weaken military readiness while ensuring that both officers and troops hew to a specific political ideology. In the first five years of his presidency, Obama fired almost 200 military officers, some of whom felt very strongly that there was an ideological purge taking place.
