So,, DUH!! You put 200 Black Teens together at a Party and what do you expect will happen. I would bet 80% were armed! Of course, this Is Illinois, so no One is is Custody! Nothing new there! Willowbrook is not Lori Lightfoot's Chicago, but since this was a Juneteenth Gathering one can expect the same outcome!

For several years on Martin King’s birthday a passenger train was chartered to bring celebrants to San Francisco for the big memorial. The train ride began in San Jose and made stops on its way up the peninsula, packing on riders especially at East Palo Alto and Redwood City. While there was no mass shootings on the trip there was inevitably plenty of fights, knifings, gunplay and general mayhem. There were deaths. Eventually the MLK train was quietly mothballed. The demographic was as one would expect.

Anybody shocked by this? Didn't think so. It could be a birthday party, Christmas, New Years, a Baptism, a funeral, a barbeque, even groundhog's day or any week day. It doesn't freakin matter, it's the same people, same problems with the same results. A life lost, another family destroyed by violence. The only difference, the date. Same cities, same states. Connect the dots and everybody still refuses to acknowledge the elephant in the room. And that elephant ain't gray. Get it yet.

There’s something odd about the location. Willowbrook borders Burr Ridge and Hinsdale, two of the wealthiest Chicago suburbs, and is over 70% White. I would suspect the participants headed west from the urban jungle for their “fun and safe” celebration.

The “someone” who perpetrated that shooting must not be of a skin shade to where the leftist Democrats and their media propagandists could morph that “someone” into being a White Supremist(s) or they would have Biden out there giving his stump anti-White Supremist speech or even hopping aboard Air Force One to utter his condolences in person.

This happened about four miles from where I lived for 60 years. Originally it was a very nice apartment complex with large apartments and was advertised a place for the teachers who taught at the local high schools to live because the area was rather expensive. Then, around 1970 a thing called "Section 8" happened. Around that time my mother had been to some club meeting and was dropping off another lady at home in that complex. She and her lady-friend were attacked right outside the apartment. My mom laid on the gas and was able to get them both out of the way. In the intervening years, that is where all the bad stuff happened. Shootings, stabbing's the discovery of long dead bodies. The nearby McDonald's was avoided at all costs. You simply did not go there. What I don't get...Right now in Washington they are pushing to get places like this in small towns across America. For fifty years, this complex has been bringing the "underserved" population to DuPage County, one of the wealthiest counties in the country, with two of the the highest rated high school districts in the country, and this is what it's become? No different than the inner city? Instead of lifting up people by giving them every advantage, the same as my kids had, the quality of our lives has been dragged down and the tragic thing that happened last night. Our car was stolen in February. It was taken into Chicago. Four girls were arrested, ski masks a bullet casings were in and around the car. It has been used in a "street racing" event that actually totaled the car. All happen in a eight day period. I only mention this because these girls didn't just stumble upon a car with the keys in it. They traveled thirty miles to break into it. They stole it using their own free will. They were caught red handed and they were charged with "Misdemeanor Trespass to a vehicle." Maybe a $500 fine? Hopefully no one died during their spree. We can take comfort in the fact the Dupage County will prosecute and will not fool around. Lately a few high speed chases led police from the city and ended in these collar counties a very rude awakening for the criminals.

Smoke from forest fires arriving from Canada this summer is choking residents of the United States and millions more Canadians in the prairie and eastern provinces. Thick, roiling smoke may pose health hazards to the aged and infirm in both countries. The origin of the fires traces back to late winter and spring. An abnormally dry winter left Canada’s boreal forests in conditions ripe for fire outbreaks from various causes, including ignition from lightning strikes in tinder-dry material. Forested portions of Alberta and British Columbia have been the sites of pine bark beetle infestations that have left millions of acres of dead trees and combustible residue on the ground.
