WASHINGTON— Moments after Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to federal charges that he hoarded classified documents and then conspired to obstruct an investigation about it, the Republicans in Congress had his back.
Speaker Kevin McCarthy dashed off a fundraising email decrying the “witch hunt” against the former president and urging donors to sign up and “stand with Trump.”
Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell steered clear of criticizing the former president, refusing to engage in questions about the unprecedented indictment.
And at a public meeting in the Capitol basement, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene compared the case against Trump to the federal prosecution of people at the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection, suggesting in both instances

AP is as oily as a snake and a despicable read. They completely make it sound like Trump and the Republicans supporting him are an rvil entity attacking an 'honorable' DOJ. I couldn't finish this garbage.

This type of relentless propaganda is why fundraising form letters will never work against it. There needs to be a well publicized state to state grassroots effort to educate & involve the people in where, how & what they can do to defeat it. Many people want to do something. They just need the organized leadership to make a difference. Action, not just words.

Poster 1, thanks for writing what I assumed about this article. The ap can’t be fair. Every “news” piece they publish has a radical left bias. The ap is trash.

AP, UPI, and Reuters make up a news monopoly / cartel.
A news monopoly is the opposite of free speech, just as a business monopoly is the opposite of a free market.
They should be prosecuted under anti-trust laws for restraining competition, and acquiring a monopoly.

It is standing for ourselves. Trump is just in the way. The current policies in this country are not working, and won't. It is stand for yourself, or die with the Democrats.

The Associated Press claims that Republicans amplify attacks on US justice system.
Therefore, if you do not bow to the Associated Press, you are anti American, it seems.

It doesn't matter what you think of Trump. We are seeing our government at its worst. Massive corruption and tyrannical abuse of power. It cannot be allowed to stand. Doesn't matter what AP says. Didn't even bother to read the article. I already know what I think, and don't care what AP thinks.

If you have the wherewithal to wade through the swill known as an AP article then peruse any comments at the end, you'll know why they're still around. I'm not sure what's worse, the AP article or the supremely ignorant fools who comment after it.

Like Democrat politicians didn't flood email boxes looking for donations as well?
Cripes, I'd rather get an email from a Nigerian Prince trying to hide his ill-gotten gains in my bank account than an email from any of our Democrat politicians.

Headline Correcting the usual AP Lies:
"Republicans amplify attacks on US justice system"
should read:
"Republicans amplify attacks on the CROOKS, Wray and Garland, running the US justice system"
