If Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan decided to be a presidential candidate next year, she would be barred from the debates.
The GOP debate rules include a pledge to support the Republican 2024 presidential nominee and Ms. Noonan makes it clear, from the opening paragraph of her latest weekend column that she would not back a Trump candidacy.
Noonan declares in her lede paragraph that if "Trump Republicans" nominate the former president next year, "they will have ended the Republican Party.' That there be no mistaking her comment as mere figurative remark, she declares in the following paragraph:

federal court ruling likely to drop this month should provide a good indication as to whether America still has a fully functioning First World justice system. The case, involving an investigation from New York Attorney General Letitia James into the supposed mismanagement of controversial news outlet VDare.com, has received zero media coverage so far, despite it being as crude, brutish, and nakedly political as James’ other lawfare campaigns (notably against former President Trump and the NRA). In fact, it’s arguably worse, as it was clearly designed to dox VDare’s writers and volunteers and bankrupt the tiny outlet out of existence.

Not since John Hinckley shot President Reagan to impress actress Jodi Foster has a lovesick suitor caused as much political havoc as the FBI’s Peter Strzok did in pursuit of FBI attorney Lisa Page. Or so, at least, it would appear.
The House Judiciary Committee this month will have a chance to probe this and other lines of inquiry with former special counsel John Durham as it regards his investigation of the apocryphal Trump-Russia connection.

Some have said that "woke" is a virus of the mind that affects the ability to understand and interact with reality. Jack Posobiec recently spoke at the Conservative Political Action Coalition (CPAC) in Budapest, Hungary, where he explained how being woke "fundamentally subverts one's ability to function and engage with reality in a meaningful and authentic way."
People infected with wokeness blame racism, white supremacy, homophobes, misogyny, religion, climate change, capitalism, etc. when things don't go their way.

The old adage “snitches get stitches” reportedly has convicted sexual predator Ghislaine Maxwell living in fear of retaliation in prison after she snitched on two violent inmates who tried to extort her.
The two Cuban women were placed in solitary confinement for 47 days after the 61-year-old madam reported them to authorities at her Florida federal prison for demanding items from her commissary, a source at the prison told the Daily Mail.

If you grew up watching those AFL games on NBC, then you probably remember Joe Namath, who was born in Beaver Falls, PA, on this day in 1943. What I recall is that all the girls in high school suddenly spoke about touchdown passes and the guys were jealous that Joe had girls chasing him.
Namath came out of Alabama and was signed by the new AFL. The league needed big college players to compete with the mature NFL. They also made Joe the face of the league and appealed to younger fans, especially women watching on television.

The Left is waging a full-fledged cultural revolution against traditional America. And the Maoist results are often as absurd as they are terrifying.
Special-counsel John Durham just issued his final report on wrongdoing within the FBI, CIA, and the Department of Justice.
The summary confirms that our premier investigatory and intelligence agencies interfered in the 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns. Directors and high-ranking FBI officials lied under oath. They misled Congress. They altered court documents and deceived federal judges.

Babe Ruth is #3 on the home run list behind Bonds and Aaron. However, 714 is one of those magic numbers for baseball fans like me. 60 (later 61) and 714 were the big baseball numbers that we grew up hearing about. Frankly, I never thought that anyone would catch Ruth's 714. At the same time, I cheered Aaron all the way, especially after he got to 700 and eventually passed Ruth in 1974.
Babe Ruth hit # 714 on this day in 1935. Like everything else, he did it with style and noise. This is how it went down:

A recent CNN headline — "We don't have enough doctors" — is quite accurate. The explanation given for the M.D. shortage is completely wrong.
CNN notes the "health-care workforce shortage is 'more acute' in Black and brown communities." The black community represents 13 percent of the U.S. population, but only 5.7 percent of American physicians are black. The implication is clear: only black doctors should or can treat black patients or, at a minimum, will treat them properly.
This is racist dogma. The vast majority of American doctors (and nurses) are blind to skin color, religion, ethnicity, and even criminal behavior.

The Durham report explicitly said there was no evidence of Russian collusion, though the FBI went ahead on a bogus investigation regardless. Disgraced FBI Agent Peter Strzok is central in signing off on this clown show. The kernels behind this hoax predate the release of the findings by Special Counsel John Durham. The Horowitz report released five years, which the liberal media erroneously said exonerated the FBI of political bias during the 2016 election, provided a preview of the antics within the J. Edgar Hoover Building. As Wall Street Journal columnist Kimberley Strassel aptly noted, Horowitz was careful with the language regarding bias.

The FBI’s dirty laundry continues to be aired, stemming from the 300-page report filed by Special Counsel John Durham, who investigated the origins of the Russian collusion hoax. No solid evidence of collusion existed for the FBI to execute any investigations into this political circus. The Steele Dossier formed the basis for the counterintelligence investigation, even though the brass at the bureau had evidence that the document was not just an opposition research project funded by the Clinton campaign but loaded with Russian disinformation. This development was suppressed to secure illegal spy warrants on Trump and his aides.

The just-released Durham report confirmed that the FBI not only failed to corroborate the Steele dossier, Hillary Clinton’s oppo-doc against former President Donald Trump, but it regularly ignored existing, sometimes dispositive, evidence to keep the investigation alive. Some officials were credulous. Others were devious. But no one “stole” our democracy — other than perhaps intelligence officials and the journalists who helped feed the collective hysteria over Russia.
John Brennan, Hamas-loving authoritarian and partisan propagandist, almost surely knew it was a con from the start. Yet he spent four years on television sounding like a deranged subreddit commenter. Even after privately admitting he knew there was no collusion,
