Following the airing of CNN’s town hall with former President Trump Wednesday evening, many bloviating pontificators in the liberal media registered their outrage at the network for daring to give the Republican candidate a platform. A surprising voice to register their disproval came from inside CNN’s house in the form of senior media reporter Oliver Darcy via the so-called “Reliable Sources” Newsletter. According to reporting from Puck News on Friday, CNN boss Chris Licht responded to Darcy’s insubordination by putting “the fear of God into him.”
With the dust still settling from the rowdy event, Darcy clutched his pearls into diamonds as he fired off the newsletter proclaiming

A lie to a corrupt Leftist like Darcy (and many at CNN) means it is something they disagree with. Whether it is true or not has nothing to do with it. If it isn't in agreement with leftist/democrat ideology then it is a lie.

Kind of hard putting the "fear of God" into the godless.

Trump tells the truth and the leftist liars say that Trump is lying....because he is pointing out their lies.

What Licht did by allowing Trump free reign in the townhall is like kryptonire to the CNN old guard. Their shrieking cries have fallen on deaf ears with Licht,; who understands that ratings are everything in the TV news business and Trump brings big ratings.

Oliver Darcy looks exactly as I expected him to. Petty, I know, but it explains a lot.

The only "torrent of lies" was spewing from the ignorant mouth of the harpy in The Squad uniform. She exhibited less knowledge than a car load of rocks but full knowledge of leftoid talking points, i.e., disinformation misinformation.

This was an illuminating example as to why Licht is fighting a losing battle, even if it is a make believe one. The entrenched liberals will NOT let go and are committed to their agenda. Further they are arrogant and stupid. These clowns thought that one of them could stand up against a President of the US and "school" and embarrass him. Kaitlan Collins thought that she could spin the Town Hall in their direction by simply calling Trump a liar repeatedly. She was confrontational, obnoxious, and disrespectful, like most liberals, and that is why they get away with their garbage. Most people aren't looking for a nasty, emotional fight and disengage when confronted by an hysterical liberal. Trump is NOT "most people". He loves the arena and is one of the best combatants around. There is certainly NO ONE in the media capable of engaging with him. The obvious wreckage of CNN should have made that apparent but liberals are, by necessity, experts at denying reality. I would suspect that Darcy is now on a dead end career path at CNN, not for being liberal but for bucking management. Being a delusional liberal, I wonder if he realizes it?

I do not share the enthusiasm for Trump many Ldotters feel but that’s irrelevant here: the fact is, Trump is both a former President AND the Republican front runner. Therefore, a long form interview with him is newsworthy. Period.

Did Trump really use a white pant suit to mop CNN's floor with?

#6, speaking of looks, let me address the visual presentation of the CNN moderator. She was wearing her white pantsuit, the battle dress uniform of liberal Democrat women. This was a non-verbal signal to the CNN female viewership that she was in solidarity with them. Recall how Hillary Clinton was wearing a white pantsuit in her last debate with Trump? Also recall how Nancy Pelosi and almost every female Democrat Congressional representative was wearing white during Trump's State of the Union speech. This created such a visual statement that someone created an internet meme by photo-shopping Klu Klux Klan pointy hoods on them. The hoods seem appropriate since the theme of rape seems to be attached to them. In the past, black men would be accused of raping or disrespecting white women. Now it is liberal women ( falsely ) accusing conservative men of raping them, while they tolerate liberal men (like Billy Jeff Clinton, Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, and Joe Biden) who have had very credible charges of rape. Matt Drudge once pointed out that media production staff were disproportionately of the LGBT variety. So I am guessing that someone in the CNN wardrobe function ran down to the lesbian wedding boutique and procured that white pantsuit for the CNN townhall debate with Trump. (I am not going to label that as an "interview" or call her a "moderator.") I will note that she looked much better in that white pantsuit than most Democrat women, although Tulsi Gabbard gives her a run for the money.

Peggy Noonan continues her attacks on Trump today (4th day in a row, same column is running) by framing it on the CNN townhall. This is how Peggy keeps her job at the wsj, doing their dirtywork. She is not a journalist, if she ever really was.

And the talking heads proclaimed to their dwindling audiences, "Lies, lies, lies!"... only there were no lies, only their ears, which no longer discern truth.
