Cash App founder Bob Lee allegedly frequented underground sex and drug parties for San Francisco’s elite with the sister of his accused killer after an argument about her. Lee’s death was initially believed to be a case of random violence in a city where crime is soaring, but his friends suggested it was instead a result of the Cash App founder’s indulgent lifestyle among the upper echelon of Bay Area society where cocaine and swingers were common, the Wall Street Journal reports. Known in wealthy circles as “The Lifestyle,” Lee, 43, a father of two, allegedly enjoyed the city’s underground party scene, as did Khazar Momeni, wife of a prominent plastic

It's so true that money doesn't bring happiness. For the wealthy that indulge in this type of lifestyle it's apparent to me that there's emptiness in their lives that they're trying to fill in all the wrong ways. Many, If not most, are godless; they don't realize that they are headed down paths that won't end well for them.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will send 800 Florida National Guard troops, drones and other assets to Texas to help with the ongoing migrant crisis, officials said Tuesday. The Republican governor has ripped President Biden for the spiraling situation at the southern border in recent weeks, intensifying his attacks with the expiration of the Title 42 public health order which allowed for the rapid expulsion of migrants. “While Biden ignores the crisis he created, Florida stands ready to help Texas respond,” DeSantis said. “The impacts of Biden’s border crisis are felt by communities across the nation, and the federal government’s abdication of duty undermines the sovereignty of our country and the rule of

Both the North Carolina Senate and House voted Tuesday along party lines to override Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper's veto of a bill banning abortion at 12 weeks. The bill now becomes law and takes effect July 1. It severely restricts abortion access in the state — one of the last which had access in the region since Roe v. Wade was overturned last year. Cooper vetoed Senate Bill 20 on Saturday, which sent it back to the General Assembly. Cooper warned the legislation would make women jump through hoops to receive care and could lead to clinics closing. "Forward is the only way ahead, but I know one thing

Another sort of talking out-of-one-side-of-the-mouth while doing something entirely different example today. We’ve been keeping abreast of the lay-offs in the tech sector here as part of our watching the Biden economy teeter and totter precipitously, and there has been quite an adjustment in those overall numbers since last fall. Silicon Valley’s tech giants have long claimed that they’re rewriting the playbook for how businesses should be managed. “Google is not a conventional company. We do not intend to become one,” the search firm’s co-founders wrote in their 2004 filing to list on the stock market. It turns out that Google and its tech rivals are disappointingly conventional. The latest proof

Monday night, the Russian armed forces launched an unprecedented missile attack against the Ukrainian capital of Kiev. At least 18 state-of-the-art Russian missiles were used in the attack. Six Kh-47 hypersonic missiles were launched from MiG-31K aircraft, surface combatants from the Black Sea Fleet fired nine Kalibr cruise missiles, and land forces in Occupied Ukraine launched three Iskander-M semi-ballistic missiles. This attack was supported by six Iranian-designed Shahed 136 suicide drones and three Orlan-10 reconnaissance drones to evaluate the operation. Defending against the attack was a layered air defense system built around the recently arrived Patriot surface-to-air missile system. The final box score

Florida governor Ron DeSantis has secured a number of endorsements in New Hampshire and Iowa in recent days, as well as key endorsements in his home state of Florida as he is expected to soon join the 2024 presidential race. DeSantis made headlines over the weekend as he interacted one-on-one with voters in Iowa, shedding his reputation as a leader who struggles with retail politicking. He made an unscheduled appearance in Des Moines at a barbecue joint on Saturday while former president Donald Trump, the frontrunner, canceled his own rally in Des Moines that day because of “severe weather.” The optics were a win for DeSantis, who also announced the endorsements

The Durham investigation has concluded what most of us knew all along. There was no legal basis for the FBI’s 2016 probe into the Trump campaign or the Mueller investigation that followed. It was all a lie. The FBI, once a highly-revered American institution, teamed up with the Hillary Clinton campaign to (try to) rig the presidential election. And they were all in on it. Then-President Barack Obama was briefed on the plan by his CIA Director John Brennan in July 2016. Two months later, Brennan alerted then-FBI Director James Comey and then-Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok to the scheme via a CIA investigative referral. Still,
