ABC News reported that 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia, who allegedly opened fire at the Allen, Texas, outlet mall Saturday afternoon, was removed from the U.S. Army in 2008 “due to mental health concerns.” Breitbart News noted that eight people were killed and numerous others injured when the suspect opened fire at the outlet mall around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The attack was stopped by a police officer who was at the mall on an unrelated call. The officer shot and killed Garcia. Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) responded to the attack by explaining that the quick push for gun control ignores the mental health issues that have to be addressed, according to Breitbart News.

Comments:

So, another nutcase who can't keep a job, and winds up deciding that killing a bunch of people is "the right thing to do". Gee, a friend of mine who used to smoke dope as a college student about 20 years ago was telling me that "the dope today has so much more THC than it used to, man it is really going to mess people up"
And a recent Danish study shows subtantial increases in paranoid schizophrenia in young men 15-25 who smoke marijuana.
But, I'm sure this couldn't all be connected, right?

So, he was kicked out of the Army for mental health issues. The question then becomes did he own the firearm before released from the military and no one knew or with his record and the government’s knowledge he was able to acquire the firearm after one of the toughest background checking process in the world. I would also bet that he was on the FBIU’s watch list all a long. The system is non functional. The next time the government closes down over the budget a furloughs the(NON ESSENTIAL) workers we should just leave them on a permanent furlough without pay for the rest of time. Sorry about the rant. Just getting very tired of this xxxx.

Of course, he didn't need a gun. He could have used a Range Rover. The 'root cause' is a system that passes laws but uses them only to punish political (conservative) dissidents, not crazy people, not druggies, not illegals (deported 5 times that one guy). His social media posts had nazi stuff from, oh, let's see, FIVE YEARS AGO? If this guy had the tats shown in the posts, why didn't the cops blow the whistle on that as soon as they got his corpse to the morgue? Instead, they talked about a possible WP badge and they would check the posts. Remember the nut who supposedly sent all the bombs by mail to congresscritters? Bombs that had no batteries, connected wire, or explosives? I seem to recall that all his social media type posts were fake, cobbled together to court public opinion. Thanks. I'll pass.

There are geopolitical and energy realities coming to fruition that nuclear can solve. After more than sixty years, Germany closed all its nuclear power plants (NPPs) with Isar-2, Emsland, and Neckarwestheim-2 officially disconnected from the grid. Germany lost approximately 5% of its power generation. The German government went against science, reason, and grid reliability. In an age when the failures of America's political class — from COVID to inflation to the Mexican border to the war in Ukraine — are getting harder and harder to ignore, a lot of the wealthy, educated, tech-savvy people who consider themselves America's natural rulers have found a new candidate for the most important issue of our day: "A.I. isney leadership thought the company out-maneuvered Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis this year after a last-minute agreement with local officials gave the theme park virtually unlimited developmental power. But sources tell The Federalist that Disney’s corporate lawyers missed the fine print in Florida statute governing tourist districts. In February, supervisors running the Reedy Creek Improvement District signed an 11th-hour resolution to hand Disney maximum authority over the company’s 27,000 acres in central Florida. The late agreement effectively left the DeSantis-appointed successors on the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District board — which replaced the Reedy Creek board — powerless to govern Disney in their own state.

San Diego federal judge has issued a ruling that blocks four provisions of California's strict handgun law, becoming the second U.S. district judge within two weeks to rule that parts of the state's Unsafe Handgun Act likely violate the Second Amendment. udge Dana Sabraw's ruling in the San Diego case could potentially open the door for Californians to purchase hundreds of types of semiautomatic pistols that state officials currently deem "unsafe" and thus do not include on a roster of approved handguns. But the judge issued a stay on his decision, giving Attorney General Rob Bonta time to appeal the ruling.

The hideous laws designed to violate almost all parts of the Bill of Rights are finally being struck down as unconstitutional. The Supreme Court of the State of New York, the state's second highest court, recently ruled the state's so-called "red flag" law unconstitutional. These unconstitutional gun confiscation schemes go by different designations, but they are colloquially known as red flag laws. The gun-grabbing ghouls of the far left are creative in describing their operation. Anyone supportive of individual liberty and our commonsense civil rights has been horrified at how these authoritarian abominations violate almost all aspects of the Bill of Rights.

You can have all the facts on your side and still lose an argument. How? Because the other side is not bound by facts, they’re arguing emotion, and emotion always overrides facts. It sounds stupid, it is stupid, but it’s also true. Think about the things you’ve apologized for in your life – I’d give you odds it was for things you said in the heat of the moment, not after thinking about the situation in a cool, rational way. That emotion factor is a big part of why Republicans always seem to get rolled when it comes to policy debates, but it’s not the only reason.

The border is “secure” and Joe Biden has built the strongest economy in years. Just ignore the fact that inflation is costing us hundreds more dollars a month under Joe.This is why his approval rating is in the toilet. Most people live in reality even if Biden’s adherents don’t.
