Fauci, Weingarten try to rewrite history

Former White House Chief Medical Adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci and teachers union boss Randi Weingarten are furiously trying to rewrite history on their role in promoting the disastrous school lockdowns that paralyzed the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic and left a generation of children behind. "Show me a school that I shut down and show me a factory that I shut down. Never. I never did," Fauci told New York Times Magazine last month. "I gave a public health recommendation that echoed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendation, and people made a decision based on that. But I never criticized the people who had to make the decisions

He is such an arrogant little weasel. Nobody mentions how after the first two weeks of lockdowns, President Trump was speaking, giving hope that we could get back to normal by Easter. When the camera panned to Fauci, he was standing there rudely making faces like a child, and then gave his own speech undoing the hope Trump had given the country and recommended continuing the lockdowns. Such a jerk.

I find it heartening that the parents of students who continued to "go to" school on line got to see just what a lot of teachers were shoving down their kids throats. They got to see just what their tax dollars were paying for.

This PR tour isn’t working out well for Weingarten. When even CNN comes after you, your story isn’t working. It doesn’t help her that there are tons of interviews and public statements from her that directly contradict what she’s trying to sell now. She would have been better off keeping her mouth shut.

When a good portion of schools outside of the 'government' schools found sensible ways to stay open, anyone with a working brain and decent eyesight knew what Weingarten was all about. When Fauci spent an inordinate amount of useless energy showing people how to wash their own hands, I knew that he thought he was brilliant and that the average person was so stupid that we had never combined soap and water before.

The weasels did not directly tell the schools to close and the rest of America to lock down. No, they created such unreal fear that the governors of most states did their dirty work for them. The real important thing for them, however, was to encourage the states to take actions (mail-in voting, etc.) that would ensure a Biden electoral victory. This was all planned way ahead of time. History will, I hope, prove the steal.

“You can’t handle the truth” is one of the most famous lines Hollywood has ever given movie audiences. In the 1992 classic “A Few Good Men,” hard-charging Marine Col. Nathan Jessup, played by the legendary Jack Nicholson, is firing back at JAG lawyer Daniel Kaffee, played by Tom Cruise in one of his greatest roles. During cross-examination, the young lawyer has steadily cornered Jessup, backing him into acknowledging what, up until that point, the politically well-connected senior officer has concealed. What we often forget, absorbed in the intensity of the courtroom drama unfolding, is the phrase that prompts Jessup’s rage. “I want the truth,” Kaffee says. That’s us —

In recent weeks, Democrats have ramped up criticism of conservative Supreme Court justices like Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch, alleging corruption and using that as a pretext for congressional oversight of the court. However, these accusations are baseless and lack legal or ethical standing. Justice Thomas was accused of not reporting free travel expenses received from a friend that he was not even required to report and a minor technical error in income reporting. Justice Gorsuch was accused of selling land to an executive of a law firm that had business before the Supreme Court, but he actually sold the property just after being confirmed, and the buyer had no business
