Anheuser-Busch Finally Backs Away From
Dylan Mulvaney, but Not Far Enough

Original Article

With Bud Light sales down 26.1% from 2022 levels, Anheuser-Busch executives are finally starting to realize that the controversy over their making the fake female man of the hour, Dylan Mulvaney, the face of the alleged beer brand is not going to blow over quickly or easily. And so only now, over a month after the news first broke that Mulvaney was now the front man for the Drag Queen of Beers, the beer giant has sent a letter to wholesalers in which it addresses the issue directly for the very first time. Will this make the trouble go away and restore Bud Light to its former preeminence? Unlikely.

That's not gonna cut it guys. You screwed the pooch to hard to just have this blow over in a couple of weeks. You need to completely disavow Mulvaney, fire everyone who green lighted this campain and promise to shut up and just brew beer.

Anheuser Busch owns the Number 1 selling brand in the entire USA and may well have permanently ruined Bud Light's sales. But InBev, AB's parent organization, also owns Modelo Special which is the Number 2 selling brand. Will it truly matter at the end of the day? Probably not. While most of us are willing to boycott a single brand, few of us are either knowledgeable enough or care enough to bother with a company-wide change in our habits. That said, I bet they don't screw with their other brands, however much the ESG influence.

I never liked Bud Light and don’t drink much beer. I used to keep a few cans in the fridge for a friend who dropped by. I doubt that they will miss my custom but I will never spend a dime on any AB product again. I also never cared about this trans stuff until they decided to cram it in my face and proselytize children into their degenerate lifestyle. Go ahead, corporate America and try to push that in my face and I will never buy anything you sell or make...ever.

My son-in-law left some Bud Light in my fridge. I had one during a hot day and it didn't went down as easily as tap water. I can see now that sweaty bike rider in the commercial pouring it over his head. That said, how do (or did) they sell so much of it? I say, rebrand. Make a pink can for the ladies and a powder blue can for the "new" ladies.

It would be great if cosmetics and skin care companies like Olay and the rest would suffer the same backlash as AB. Unfortunately I don't see that happening. WOMEN are their customers and many are quite loyal to brands that work well for them. But these brands gleefully jump on MR. Mulveney's bandwagon choosing to align themselves with a boy who makes a living by mocking their core customer base. Insanity reigns.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Rep. Grassley and Comer say that they’ve “received legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures” regarding a “criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions.” Would anyone really be surprised if it were positively determined that Old Joe Biden was paid off by foreigners to set policy in a way they dictated?

In recent weeks, Democrats have ramped up criticism of conservative Supreme Court justices like Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch, alleging corruption and using that as a pretext for congressional oversight of the court. However, these accusations are baseless and lack legal or ethical standing. Justice Thomas was accused of not reporting free travel expenses received from a friend that he was not even required to report and a minor technical error in income reporting. Justice Gorsuch was accused of selling land to an executive of a law firm that had business before the Supreme Court, but he actually sold the property just after being confirmed, and the buyer had no business
