Rest assured, we’ll cover it all in various articles, but the night is best-enjoyed bite by bite. With that said, at some point, Joe Biden took the stage to give the crowd what they all came for. Specifically, a bad president reading bad jokes with all the skill and precision of a budget barber. In other words, Biden is the bowl cut of comedians. Case in point? This battle in Biden’s ongoing war with his teleprompter where he suggests that Mickey Mouse beat the hell out of him for some reason.

One aspect of that war consists of attacks on animal husbandry, which to some degree ties in with longstanding crank theories espoused by vegans and others. In light of what we are witnessing and experiencing in the world today, integrity may seem like an old-fashioned concept unrelated to modern life. If we look up the definition of integrity in the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, we will learn that integrity means “adherence to a strict moral or ethical code; incorruptible; honest; virtuous.” Unfortunately, when we read the daily news headlines, we may think there are no people left with any shred of integrity because almost every news story has to do with corruption, dishonesty, or lack of virtue.
We also don’t hear much about “walking your talk” these days unless in conjunction with a Twelve Step addiction recovery program
This week Joe Biden touted a laundry list of immigration carrots and sticks intended to disincentivize illegal immigration at the southern border now that he's lifting the sparsely enforced Title 42 restrictions on May 11.
They were mostly carrots. The New York Times called them a "new back door on immigration," and explained that its permissiveness went well beyond the lawful congressional parameters for the admission of immigrants.

Next month, it will be 31 years since The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson aired its farewell episode. We all knew that Carson was irreplaceable. Greatly modified expectations got late-night fans through the first several years after Carson retired. The latest numbers are in, and the folks over at Anheuser-Busch may wanna look away. According to Beer Business Daily, Bud Light’s off-premise sales volume — the amount of beer sold outside of restaurants and bars — was down 26.1% from a year earlier in the week ending in April 22.
That’s even worse than the 21.1% decrease from the week prior, while Bud Light numbers are now down 8% this year.
WASHINGTON — Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Monday warned that the United States may run out of measures to pay its debt obligations by June 1, earlier than the government and Wall Street had been expecting.
In a letter to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, Yellen said new data on tax receipts forced the department to move up its estimate of when the Treasury Department "will be unable to continue to satisfy all of the government's obligations" to potentially as early as June 1, if Congress doesn't raise or suspend the debt limit before then.
