Bud Light’s Vice President of Marketing Alissa Heinerscheid isn’t the only now on a leave of absence following backlash over the company’s partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. According to a statement from Bud Light parent company Anheuser-Busch, Heinerscheid’s boss, Daniel Blake, is also on a leave of absence. “Given the circumstances, Alissa has decided to take a leave of absence which we support,” an Anheuser-Busch spokeswoman said in an email, reports The Wall Street Journal. “Daniel has also decided to take a leave of absence.”[snip] the company has reportedly hired two consultants "with experience in Washington, D.C.'s, conservative circles to advise the brand moving forward," according to Fox News.

I thought we may have prevailed in this battle, but I saw this comment by Bud: they've reportedly hired two consultants "with experience in Washington, D.C.'s, conservative circles :to advise the brand moving forward,"

What an idiot. Take one of the best-selling brands in the country and destroy it by hiring some freak of nature to be your new spokesthing. Good job Heinerscheid, appeal to 0.001% of the beer-drinking population and offend the other 99%. That should really make your sales skyrocket. I hope other corporations are paying attention because this is a perfect lesson in "go woke, go broke". BTW, I'm sure that thing they hired (Dylan.....whatever) is a real big beer drinker too. He strikes me as more of a fruity drink consumer (with a straw, an umbrella, and maybe a balloon).

The two clowns who are taking a leave of absence probably have employment contracts, and AB will have to (1) prove breach of those contracts and fire for cause or (2) pay them off. My guess is that both of them will get big secret paydays and sign nondisclosure agreements. Someone more senior will have to be the "vice president in charge of going to jail" and take the fall, in order to protect the CEO, who is sweating now. Good lesson for a CEO to oversee customer relations in all of its forms. I find it incomprehensible that he did not know of and approve this radical and nonsensical reorientation of the Bud Light brand. The finger pointing will intensify, as it should.

"[W]ith experience in D.C.'s conservative circles" tells me their consultants are leftists for two reasons: (1) "conservative" in D.C. means "slightly to the right of AOC," and (2) "with experience in" is pretty wishy-washy and can be as simple as "I've gone to some cocktail parties that Republicans attended." If their advice was the most recent commercial with the running Clydesdale, A-B needs to fire them.

The NYPD commissioner in charge of employee relations is having a difficult time — with her employee relations. More than 10 cops working under Deputy Commissioner Lisa White — who’s in charge of officer morale in the 35,000 uniformed member force — have either transferred or asked to be transferred out of her office because of her off-the-wall shenanigans, including claiming there are ghosts in her office and that workers are bugging her phone, police sources told The Post. The final straw for one of them, a detective assigned to drive her in a department-assigned Ford SUV, came when White, 61, ordered the cop to turn on the lights and

Karl Marx’s famous prescription for economic equity is “from each according to his abilities to each according to his needs.” A more honest version is “robbing Peter to pay Paul,” which takes brute force in most cases. This is the ethos of the radicalized Democratic Party, whose mantra is centralized power and redistribution of wealth. The street version is called “looting,” but that word aptly summarizes their entire agenda. The Biden administration’s war on America’s energy sector has unleashed ruinous inflation, which pushes people into higher tax brackets so the government can take more of our income. And taxes are never high enough. Democrats portray any
