Nashville Christian School stood firm in its religious beliefs and did not allow a girl to wear a suit to prom.
The student, who says she is non-binary and goes by the name B Hayes, posted a photo on Instagram holding a cardboard sign that said, “They wouldn’t let me in because I’m in a suit.” In the post’s caption, she wrote, “My senior prom was today and i wasn’t allowed in the doors because i was wearing a suit. i should not have to conform to femininity to attend my senior prom. (snip) who are you to tell us what it means to be a woman?”

Why is this confused girl in a Christian school? Did she not pay attention to the lessons in Biblical teachings in this school?

This whole thing is hilarious!!! Look at the picture. 4 happy normal kids in the background going to their prom that they will remember for the rest of their lives with happy memories, and one freak mentally ill girl in front holding a sign who will be miserable for the rest of her life.
Then as you read the article, she says she just wants her privacy. Apparently, she studied mental illness under the king and queen of mental illness, Meghan and Harry!!!

Go push your genderphobic dogma elsewhere.
No one is under any obligation to participate in your fantasies or your hallucinations.

Somebody needs to tell this girl that obviously missed a few classes that the school isn't telling her what it means to be a woman. Their boss (GOD) already told them that.

Thank God my son pulled my granddaughter out of public school and put her in a private Christian school. She is happy and thriving. We need to let parents opt out of paying onerous school property taxes so they can use the money for private schools. Public schools in most places have denigrated into baby sitting buildings and indoctrination centers. It was a financial hit for my son and his wife but they thought it was worth it and it was.

Those telling the young woman she is a woman are the people who studied biology and know XX from XY.

So because you are falling for an unnatural lifestyle that insults actual women, you think it is okay to snub the rules of your CHRISTIAN school? They must not be teaching good values very well if this is what is happening.

Obviously this mixed up very-un-happy young thing need only restudy BIOLOGY and compare its body design and most especially body parts to verify the SHE is, in fact, a SHE!
Here's a clue... you got 2 body parts and 1 (that does not DINGLE between HER legs.

Why can't she be "non-binary" and still follow the rules and wear a dress? She's choosing to wear the suit instead of the dress. It is just a choice of persona for her. Just another attention seeker. Meh.

uh, oh another instance calling for a mass shooting by a disgruntled, disgendered, non publicity seeking student of a Christian school

We homeschooled our kids through high school and at the proms we had for the kids, crap like this was a no go. We had a couple girls try it but they failed miserably.

She's an attention w----. This can all be summed up as, "Look at me! Look at me! Look at me!"

The sad thing about this story is that a few years ago, it would not even be a story. So, some attention seeking high school girl wants to dress as a boy at her prom, who cares? It's no big deal. But, this transgender movement is so out of control, so totalitarian, so anti-human and anti-science with child mutilation becoming not only accepted but encouraged, society has no choice but to take a stand and say ENOUGH even on an issue as benign as this. So sad.

"She added that she would like to have the “privacy” to enjoy the rest of her senior year."
Then why post the picture on Instagram? Why talk to NPR if you "want to have privacy to enjoy the rest of your senior year?"
Hypocrite

The boy and girl, suit and dress, king and queen things are all part of what PROM is all about. If you are rejecting the social foundation, then you are rejecting the prom. Like boys don't ask girls to the Sadie Hawkins dance. But the other dances during the year? Knock yerself out...

no one's forcing you to go to that school. If you don't like the rules, go to another school.

She could have gone, wearing a dress; saying she was channeling Bruce Jenner. She can wear her suit on 'dress as your favorite historical character day'....as Amantine-Lucile-Aurore Dudevant, AKA novelist George Sand.

However, her "predicament" prompted a business owner ~ most likely a dem ~ to throw a second prom for B Hayes and HER friends. I wonder how many kids will attend? Does anyone think SHE will have dozens of dance partners from which to choose?? Me neither.
Grab a chair and dance, darlin'.

Somewhere during the seventies or eighties, society lowered it's expectations of the ideal man and woman. Now here we are.
