Despite many of them having only just entered the workforce, Generation Z — those born in 1997 onwards — is already getting a bad rap at the office.
According to a recent survey of 1,300 managers, three out of four agree that Gen Z is harder to work with than other generations — so much so that 65% of employers said they have to fire them more often.
One in eight have let go of a Gen Zer less than one week after their start date, the study found.
The results ring true with managers across the US and in various industries, who report that young hires have been difficult to deal with,

Hundreds of professors at the University of North Carolina signed a public letter Tuesday opposing legislation that would require university students to take courses on America's government and founding documents. The 673 UNC Chapel Hill professors revealed the public letter Tuesday, arguing the new courses and another bill in the North Carolina House of Representatives would constitute an infringement on the university's "academic freedom."
The first piece of legislation, House Bill 96, would require students to take a 3 credit-hour course covering America's founding and history. Required reading for the course would include the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Emancipation Proclamation,

Writer E. Jean Carroll took the witness stand for her lawsuit against former President Donald Trump on Wednesday, telling jurors: "I’m here because Trump raped me."
When she stepped forward with her allegations in 2019, Trump "lied and shattered my reputation, and I’m trying to get my life back," Carroll said during her testimony at the civil trial in federal court in Lower Manhattan. Carroll, 79, said she first met Trump — who has said he doesn't know who she is and had never met her — in 1987 at a "Saturday Night Live" party, where she was a writer at the time. She said she believes that's

I am dismayed that Donald Trump seems to be adopting the tactics of the Biden-dominated DNC and rejecting the opportunity for voters to hear directly from candidates for their parties’ nomination in a presidential debate. In a post on Truth Social, he writes:
I see that everybody is talking about the Republican Debates, but nobody got my approval, or the approval of the Trump Campaign, before announcing them. When you’re leading by seemingly insurmountable numbers, and you have hostile Networks with angry, TRUMP & MAGA hating anchors asking the “questions,” why subject yourself to being libeled and abused?

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to end a boycott of 30 states that passed conservatives laws after the rule proved costly and ineffective.
The board voted 7-4 to repeal a 2016 law that prohibited city employees from traveling to or doing business with companies in states that passed conservative laws. The board of supervisors first enacted the law in an effort to punish states that had enacted what it viewed as restrictions on LGBT rights after the Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges legalized same-sex marriage nationwide. Since 2015, the board had amended the law to include states that, in its view

In case the average American didn’t know it already, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is a lesbian, and one who is so “out and proud” that she doesn’t hesitate to mention it every chance she gets – even though pretty much everyone in her circle undoubtedly is aware. The White House press corps, who are likely the “wokest” of any press corps in American history, no doubt knows this as well, which might be why they looked on in stunned silence while Jean-Pierre, who was joined

When it comes to cross-country travel, many electric vehicle owners have learned to take their vehicles’ range readings with a grain of salt — especially in cold weather.
That’s a lesson one man learned the hard way last week when he tried to drive his Rivian electric pickup truck through a rural part of Wyoming — with disappointing results.
Tow truck operator Jake Yeaman of Specialty Towing in Laramie shared the story on his Facebook page.
“Towed my first EV Today,” he said.
“A brand new $90,000 electric pickup from the rest area on South Pass to Rocksprings…
“He had charged in Riverton enough to go 120 miles,

Nikki Haley doesn’t have a prayer to become the next President of the United States, although she is a viable VP candidate for sure.
I’ve always had a generally positive impression of her. She is smart, was a good governor, and one of the most reliable and well-spoken of the Trump appointees.
With that said, I was pretty stunned by her cheap shot at Ron DeSantis. I am pretty sure that it will alienate quite a number of people, although to me it’s pretty clear that Republican voters are not the intended recipients of her message. Looking at the language of the tweet her message is clear: she is on board with

Republican presidential candidate and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley took a jab at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday amid the governor’s ongoing battle with Disney.
“@Disney, my home state will happily accept your 70,000+ jobs if you want to leave Florida,” she wrote on social media.
“We’ve got great weather, great people, and it’s always a great day in South Carolina! SC’s not woke, but we’re not sanctimonious about it either,” she said, harkening to former President Donald Trump’s nickname for the Florida governor — “Ron DeSanctimonious.”

She did it again.
Nearly every time Vice President Kamala Harris speaks to the public, the occasion ends with a humiliating and viral sound bite. And this time was no exception.
In her first public appearance since President Biden’s re-election announcement, Harris delivered remarks at an abortion rights rally at her alma mater, Howard University, in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.
Describing the significance of the moment, Harris told the crowd:
So I think it’s very important, as you have heard from so many incredible leaders for us at every moment in time and certainly this one, to see the moment in time in which we exist and are present, and to be able to

President Joe Biden on Tuesday lied about his birth by falsely claiming he was born in the same hospital where his grandfather died just two weeks prior.
While speaking at North America’s Building Trades Unions Legislative Conference at the Washington Hilton, Biden lied about his birth — one of many lies throughout the years.“My grandpop, who I never met, died in the same hospital I was born in two weeks before I was born,” Biden claimed. “My grandpop was, as they say in Maryland, from ‘Blamer.'” However, the Biden family lineage says otherwise. Biden’s grandfather died in September 1941 in Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Sun.
