Is the country separating itself into two distinct camps? One increasingly leftist and the other trying desperately to cling to traditional American values? Census data seem to show that it very well could be underway.
Last week, we commented on recent population data showing that people have been fleeing urban areas, noting that these are mostly Democratically controlled, and we’ve pointed out that people have also been moving from red states to blue.
But we wanted to go deeper and get more precise numbers. So, we matched Census net migration data from mid-2020 through mid-2022 for all the nation’s 3,000-plus

Yes, there are two distinct camps. I don't see how they can come together. However, I've lived in two blue states but happened to live in areas that are distinctly red. It was not by choice, although I was drawn to those areas. Sometimes things just seem to work themselves out.

As those red counties which are turning blue drift further left, patriotic Americans will flee them and go to other red counties. Works for me.

Now they will make the other areas blue as well.

Looks like Brandon's promise to unite the country isn't working very well. That's not surprising since nothing else he has tried to do is working either. His presidency has a history of lighting firecrackers in the middle.

That’s why Biden imported 26 million undocumented democrats and immediately put them on welfare.

Democrat leaders will use this info to determine how many extra ballots will need to be put into circulation.

There is no question that we have two Americas; a Marxist one and a Free one. I truly hope we are separating ourselves because it's less bloody than a hot civil war, and because I cannot stand liberals. They are ignorant, totalitarian, arrogant, and above all stupid and dangerous.
Kurt Schlichter has written a few novels about what a divided America looks like and they are starting to look prophetic. There is an unbridgeable divide and the ONLY solution is to live separately -- our own Congress, our own economy (the parallel economy), our own structures. Logistically, I don't know how that works but economically and culturally, we need to form our own schools, banks, and organizations, and to hell with those who love being in intellectual and cultural prison.
Dear liberal nut cases: Take your trans, LGBTQ+, your drag, your high taxes, your green insanity, your "policing by social workers" and pound it. You leave me alone and I will be overjoyed to leave you alone. Until the national divorce is final, stay away from me.

Years ago, I belonged to the Baltimore Civil War Roundtable. We had speakers who would come and talk about a particular battle or regiment, or some other topic related to the Civil War. One person who came and gave a talk about the border towns of Pa. and Maryland. The people on both sides of the border were farmers. Many attended the same church and had family members who lived on either side of the border between the two states. He stated that if there were no border, one would be hard pressed to even know a border existed between the populations, except when it came to the election of 1864. Those in Pa. voted for Lincoln, while those in Maryland voted for the democrat. He stated that this was true with many communities that were on the border between states with one considered Union, and one Confederate. He had written a book about this aspect of the country during the election of 1864. I wish I had bought it at the time, because now I don't remember the author or the book title. It was a great talk that now seems to be playing out once again in the country.

I agree with the analysis overall, but WRT the AZ and TX counties, they went blue in 2020 so the authors say Californians caused this. However their migration dats is mid 2020-mid 2022, so I most of the migration they are examining occurred after the 2020 election. Now maybe enough Californians migrated before this analysis to have an impact, but this isn’t what they examined. We know there are serious fraud concerns in AZ. And we know that PHX and Austin are state capitals. Just like the blue areas in ID are mostly in Boise. It’s more likely that a concentration of government employees and the presence of universities is turning areas blue IMO. Red states need to find a way to quit funneling our tax dollars to academia which are then used to further undermine our society. And, while probably impossible, red states need to heed FDR and unwind public sector employee unions. Without serious changes such as these, the blue creep will continue, cloth or without California refugees.

Biden did not "win" the counties normally needed to secure the presidency, as evidence of his installment via voter fraud in blue cities and states. I am not confident that Trump can overcome the deep state in 2024 and no matter how loud he screams about fraud, the MSM and tech world will ignore it or cover it up.

Just because you ran out of toilet paper in your own home doesn't mean you can come over here and use mine.
Recognize that the blue state stupidity and evil is infectious.

I have a different take on the data. Is it possible that in comparing the vote totals in 2020 with a more recent census it isn't that people have moved, it's that they didn't live there in the first place?

What this illustrates is there should be significantly lower vote totals coming out of those counties and cities that saw their population leave.
In just 2 years, after the census of 2020, California is now over-represented in the House of Representatives, as they lost more than 1 House seat alone.
Remember, if you think you don't vote, as some sort of protest, you're only helping Democrats since they don't need as many to win.
