Illinois State Senator Says Flash Mob
in Chicago Last Weekend Was a 'Mass Protest'
and a 'Political Act'

Original Article

Posted By: ladydawgfan, 4/19/2023 12:43:13 PM

Last weekend, a flash mob of up to 500 Chicago young people — mostly teens — descended on downtown and began to burn cars, terrorize tourists, smash windows, and fight among themselves in a no-longer-shocking display of lawlessness and mayhem. Some Chicago leaders appeared frightened. “We’ve had more than our share of downtown mass arrest incidents going back over a decade. This is not new,” 2nd Ward Alderman Brian Hopkins said. “What is new is to have it happen three days in a row.” The police were paralyzed and ended up quarreling with other agencies about who was in charge and who was at fault.

Comments:

Part two is planned for this weekend so we'll see if the police have learned anything, doubtful though that may be.

Naw, the lib judges and DA's will just let them walk...oh wait, how about a water cannon or two and pick them up like the cops did in Soylent Green...??

It seems like the world no longer considers law and order to be something positive, let alone a priority. It's not a rebellion against the concept of law and order, though -- but against the particular order that has prevailed for centuries. As soon as the Left has reversed the ordering to give all the power to THEM, then the enforcement will become harsher, even absolute. And instead of fixing the problems, like they promise, it will make them orders of magnitude worse.

I don’t care if your a billionaire or as poor as a church mouse, one knows better then to destroy someone else’s property. Also knows that taking items from a store without paying is stealing! The taxpayer, store owner and business person is NOT the reason for poverty. They are being assaulted by these brats. Until these kids are prosecuted nothing is going to change. And don’t blame the police. They have no backing. They arrest a brat. Two hours later he is free to go out and steal or destroy things again. It’s all being done on purpose. Get rid of cops. No prosecutor who is not on the take would let these kids continue. No judge not on the take would not give the proper punishment. Something is not right. Who is helping to keep the crime rate up. And blame the police? Everyone one off these kids should be arrested and kept in jail. Then go get the parents.

Idiot politicians cry that the young thugs have been "starved of opportunities in their own communities". Of course, rioting, looting, vandalism, arson, and mayhem for three days opens opportunities and encourages businesses to hire these young hoodlums. Politicians always come up with creative excuses for the out of control crime in Chicago and manage to blame everyone but the criminals. Things will never get better until they admit they are the problem. Maybe they should apply the principals of the AA 12 Step program to themselves to help solve the crime problem. Step 1, admit you have a problem!

For all leftists, climate alarmists, and other dwellers in fantasy land, happy Earth Day! Unfortunately for “climate change” true believers, not only have climate predictions been consistently and wildly wrong for 50 years now, but “clean” or “green” energy is toxic for the environment, inefficient, and unprofitable. Unprofitable to everyone but the businessmen in charge lining their pockets while producing very little electricity, of course. Not to mention the politicians who justify increasing their control over land and lives by saying they’re “saving the planet.” And this time, after fifty years, they’re totally right about impending apocalypse.
