Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has a section on his official website that is called “Victim Resources,” and it carries a subhead that is entitled, “Frauds Targeting Immigrants.” That page on Bragg’s website states: “We protect undocumented New Yorkers.”“Our office is a safe place for undocumented immigrants to report crime,” it says.The webpage goes on to say: “I’m undocumented. Can I still file a report?” The answer: “Absolutely. Our Office is a safe place to report crime regardless of your immigration status.”
