The Powerful Media Pretend They Are Powerless

It's unintentionally laughable when cable news hosts like Rachel Maddow break in to announce that MSNBC will not be airing any of Donald Trump's post-arraignment speech live because "there's a cost to us as a news organization of knowingly broadcasting untrue things."These pompous announcements aren't simply about what's true and what's false. They are about how the media elites run our democracy by telling us what happenings we're all supposed to be talking about

Individually, fake news outlets like NPR, MSDNC and CNN have very little influence but when they all band together like a flock of parrots and dutifully repeat the same lines, the leftist crazies are fed enough lies to make them crazier every day. MAGA

The media wants Donald Trump to be the Republican nominee for President because they believe it will be easier to sell the idea that Joe Biden defeated him again when they steal the 2024 election than it would be against another candidate. Heck, if the candidate is Mike Pence or Nikki Haley they might even let Biden lose, because in that case it won't make any difference.

the "alternative media" exists to report what the "legacy media" neglects to report. the legacy reporting bias is omission while their commentary bias is political "spin" based on fallacies - particularly appeals to anonymous authority - "experts say..."

Rachel Maddow is a cow...that's her pronoun...the cow has decided that President Trump's remarks are untrue ...before she even hears them...she called attention to her true motive....Get Trump at any cost..by lying and cheating...Allan Dershowitz is right...it's not about what's fair and just...it's about getting President Trump because he scares the living crap out of the establishment in DC....it was fun watching her squirm and wiggle as she spoke...thank you Greg Kelly of Newsmax for bringing it to our attention...

Rachel Madcow reminds me of an old patent ''medicine'' named Hadacol, marketed as a vitamin supplement. Yea, right. If 12% alcohol is a vitamin, then I am Mitzi Gaynor. You'll have to look them both up in an encyclopedia, and you might even find sister Rachel there to. Ask anyone 80 or older why they named it Hadacol. The proper response is, ''They hadda call it something!''

I sense that the power of the media (which encompasses government, the tech sector, and the medium itself) is lessening. I watched most of John Kirby's news conference the day when he was telling anyone who would believe him that the withdrawal from Afghanistan was all Trump's fault and it wasn't such a failure after all, and I decided to look and see if Kirby was a communications major (he wasn't), but with any of these news shows, it seems to be all about performance rather than substance. I first wondered when watching Kirby if old lessons were coming back to him and he was focused on looking straight at the camera - no blinking; to use certain inflections with certain words and occasionally to use a hand gesture - both for emphasis. Anyone who knew anything about the withdrawal from Afghanistan knew it was a disgrace (was Kirby's presentation delayed so people would forget what really happened?). Someone should tell the administration about what truly happened that day. The ordinary citizen is interested in what's happening in our world and is terrified at what is happening on a daily basis and we are so grateful for all the alternative news sites that let us know what really happened on January 6, or what are the true facts about covid and the terrible consequences of a lot of crooked people's crooked actions. The only people who believe the "powerful media" are the same people who clap when the sign goes on at those late-night talk shows.
