Whoopi Goldberg mocked conservatives during Thursday’s broadcast of “The View,” claiming that she hadn’t heard as many people denying climate change since their houses had been “blown down … for the fourth or the fifth time.” Goldberg joined her co-hosts on the ABC midday talk show in a preemptive post-mortem of the Republican Party in the wake of former President Donald Trump’s indictment on Tuesday — beginning with co-host Joy Behar’s claim that the party would never win another election.

Whoopi again reaches new levels of idiocy. It is weather, weather happens every day. Climate is a different matter, and climate “change’ is a myth. Weather occurs in cycles, liberal use those cycles to do what they do best, grab more power.

To the climate change nutcases, everything is due to climate change, the maroons. If there are twisters, it’s climate change — if it’s calm, climate change. If it’s dry, climate change. If it’s rainy, climate change. If it’s cold, climate change —- hot, climate change. If it’s snowing, climate change —- if it isn’t snowing, climate change. If the water levels rise, climate change —- if water levels recede, climate change. If ice melts, climate change — if ice accretes, climate change. If polar bears are dwindling, climate change — if they’re multiplying, climate change. There is no weather, animal, ice or water phenomenon, to these people, that isn’t proof of catastrophic climate change. We know they are crazy, but they’re too crazy to be ignored. They must be fought against. Hard. Because they want control of your thermostat, your car, your food, your electricity, your cosmetics, your medications, your health care and everything else about your life on this planet. They are dictators in waiting and they cannot wait to come down hard on non-believers.

I was in the insurance business for 43 years starting in 1969. Believe me those things have always been around. In fact, the British were in the act of burning Washington, DC in 1814 when a tornado hit the hill the Redcoats were camped. Several were killed, cannons tossed like cardboard boxes and the heavy rains doused the fires. They then left our capitol abruptly. God’s intervention?

In a December 26, 1955 article in Time magazine, George Meany of the AFL-CIO warned Americans that [t]oo many in the free world fail to see the real nature of Communism as the mortal foe of everything that we hold dear, of every moral and spiritual value. Too many are still prisoners of the illusion that Communism is, historically speaking, a progressive system [or] ... extreme liberalism temporarily making bad mistakes. Actually, Communism ... is an anti-social system in which there are embedded some of the worst features of savagery, slavery, feudalism and life-sapping exploitation manifested in the industrial revolution of early-day capitalism.
