The transgender athlete will be able to compete against females until the appeals court makes a decision. The case could still end up back at the Supreme Court.

I hope Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson recused herself since she can’t define what a woman is, so I assume she could not define a man either.

Misleading title. The Supreme Court chose not to make an emergency intervention in an ongoing court case.

What in the world has happened to common sense and women’s rights?
#3, If that is the case, it appears to me that the SCOTUS had a unique opportunity to squash the attack on women’s rights and knock down this ridiculous ideology that is permeating our society in a very pernicious way. I am not a lawyer but it seems to me when a clear injustice is being promoted in the country, the SCOTUS would want to weigh in so that a clear animus toward biological women’s rights could be settled once and for all. It appears to me that the SCOTUS puts procedure above assuring the country that they can do their job. It is their duty to be the protectors of the Constitution when it comes to citizens’ rights. Which is more important procedural protection or protecting the rights of women? Women are losing ground everyday and trans rights are being elevated above women’s rights. I believed the SCOTUS was there to protect our rights not fail to do their duty citing procedural grounds to address an issue that needs to be addressed because women are being treated as less than. This appears to show a lack courage in the face of a backlash from a vicious trans lobby that will come after them. All it takes for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing. Honest question, is procedure sacrosanct or is it being used as an excuse?

The Supine Court evades yet another case that could have slapped America back into reality. They've become completely irrelevant and frankly no longer functional, like an appendix.

How much you want to bet "Wishy Washy" Roberts was the driving force behind this non-ruling. Waitresses must hate him because he can never make a decision.

One solution, end Women’s sports, at least End Title 9, the creation of rad-fems who are now desiccated, shriveled up, shrill, hysterical Pink P-hatted scolds.
All those universities, making tons of money off sports, eager to let mutilated boys, or intact males “play with” the girls and women, because they care about the money.
End Title 9. Maybe all parents of athletic-minded girls will pluck up the courage to save girls’ sports.
In effect, kill Title 9 to save it.

#11 said it all, Folks, this isn’t about law, reason or justice, it’s about MONEY, in the form of Title IX and people who trade their principles for MONEY are called, well, you know, so for all of their protests, the athletes, parents, coaches and administrators who are allowing this travesty to go on are just, well, you know.

Fake news! TGP is misrepresenting what the SC did - this was just a procedural ruling, not a substantive one. Fyi, I am a Trump supporter who is tired of gross misrepresentations by TGP

Just like the Christian high school basketball team chose to not participate in the league tournament, women should just not compete for 6 months and the schools will loose so much revenue they will correctly make a trans league which will fail for lack of participants. Myself? I would show up at my event. Line up at the starting line and when the starter pistol fires I would stand still. Let the trans usurper run all by themselves. They just want the attention.

#3 is right. Let's not jump to conclusions. The SCOTUS refused to 'take a case' before it took the case. We might not like the lack of urgency but let us wait it out.

The answer is, when these biological males line up to compete against biological females would be for the biological females to refuse to compete. Let the boy-wanna-be-girl-but-still-with-his-man-parts run the race alone.

Can't help but think when transgender athletes do make it to the Supreme Court, Conservatives will in for a rude surprise. It sounds like the Supreme Court kicked the issue down the road rather than hear it. The writing might be on the wall here.

Women should boycott the events and insist that sports event should be categorized by muscle density by age. That should place everyone in a competition where they belong.

Look, are you L-Dotters who hate GP. Just chill out. They certainly are not perfect but they speak the truth when many outlets ignore a story. If you believe they are out of touch and over the top, just go look at some left leaning headlines. I will continue to check out what they say because I believe they are willing to confront the left despite the consequences.

The actual females need to walk away when a male show up to compete. If the actual females just REFUSE to compete against a male, this whole charade ENDS.
Women, do not assist these pukes in spitting on your sports. Do NOT cooperate. If a man shows up.....go on strike, walk off and do NOT play their game.

The headline is a lie. SCOTUS decided nothing except not to intervene at the moment. What's the "emergency"? Some biological female won't get a high school track medal? Really. This should not ever have been legislated or brought to the courts to begin with. The state high school athletic commission should have made their rules for competition. Historically, the courts won't touch those. But, then there is grandstand politics, always shortsighted...

#23 -- if TGP continues to misrepresent what's actually happening, it's completely reasonable to be skeptical of its content. I look in there periodically, but there have been too many instances of bad takes and outright misrepresentation to consider that site a go-to for information.
I expect leftwing sites to mislead. I expect better from conservative media.
