The African country of Tanzania reported its first-ever outbreak of Marburg disease, which has so far resulted in eight total cases and five deaths. The Ebola-related virus was also responsible for additional lab-confirmed illnesses stemming from a February outbreak in Equatorial Guinea, which has so far sickened nine patients, seven of which have died. In a statement issued earlier this week, the World Health Organization has said an additional 161 people — all considered “contacts” of those sickened — were being monitored for symptoms. “The efforts by Tanzania’s health authorities to establish the cause of the disease is a clear

Can you imagine the "fun" they would have if a Hemorrhagic Fever Virus was to break out in the US? The ultimate tool of control over the population. For now they can only speculate on an outbreak but with wide open, ask no question's borders, it may arrive sooner than later. The Fauci types and our elite betters will have to find a surefire way to protect themselves, or their fun will be short-lived.

Marburg and Ebola have been bumping around in Africa for at least 30+ years that we know of. Probably centuries. They are not airborne and relatively easily blocked with ordinary protections against bodily fluids. There was an outbreak in Reston, Va just outside DC in the 1989 that was.....a fizzle wrapped in a lot of hysteria. Research monkeys turned up infected with Marburg. Initially, the infectious disease docs thought that the monkey sellers had "dodged a bullet". Later antibody testing showed that all those exposed, and they didn't get sick......had antibodies. This means they didn't dodge it, but the Marburg "bullet" (at least that strain, at that time and place) turned out to be a whiffle ball, easily handled by their immune systems.

Re #7, I read the book not long after it came out. The key bottom line was that after a lot of freakouts, Ft. Dietrick Army crews cleaning up the building with the monkeys with teams in hazmat suits and air tanks, thinking that they "lucked out " that no humans got sick or died......they discovered that all those who worked in the building had gotten infected, developed effective antibodies and gotten over it -- without symptoms. So, at least some strains aren't what the hysterics want you to fear. I'm sure that it isn't anything good, but it is NOT new, and is probably so difficult to spread that it will never be any sort of a widespread threat.

Outbreaks of viruses that lethal tend to be localized because tthe victims die off faster than new ones can be infected. I won't worry about Marburg until the body wagons roll through the neighborhood.

OP, wouldn't fit their (our enemies) agenda. If you release a mild virus with less than .5% mortality and known protection by IV, HQ, D3,Zinc, etc., and hype the fear porn to galactic levels you can 'guide' your targets into taking the kill shot. There's not much risk to our enemies since they know what's going on. If they were to release a virulent virus like Marburg, they put themselves at great risk too, without any guarantee or way to ensure it won't get out of control. Didn't matter with the KungFlu since it wasn't as deadly as the propagandists shrieked - and the idea was to get the gullible to voluntarily get the jab.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A Yale University business student is proposing renaming Whitney Avenue in New Haven. Robert Lucas, an MBA student, said the legacy of Eli Whitney should be studied, not celebrated. “Things won’t change unless someone speaks up,” Lucas said. Lucas is set to graduate this spring. He’s spent his time in New Haven getting to know the history of the area. “Eli Whitney’s principal legacy was the invention of the cotton gin, and that led to the expansion of slavery,” Lucas said. Search and rescue operations were underway in Sharkey and Humphreys counties, Mississippi's Emergency Management Agency said late Friday. The Louisville, Colorado City Council is facing harsh criticism after its recent proposal to ban the construction of new gas stations and auto service stations. Though council members say the ban is an effort to combat climate change, one local Republican spokesperson called it an abuse of power. If enacted, the ban would leave the 21,000 residents of Louisville with only six gas stations. A seventh would be permitted under the ordinance only if it were part of a large retail center. ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota House was moving Thursday toward strengthening the state's protections for children and their families who come for gender-affirming care by making Minnesota a “trans refuge state,” bucking a national backlash against transgender rights. Democratic Gov. Tim Walz signed an executive order two weeks ago to protect the rights of people from Minnesota and other states to receive gender-affirming health care in the state. The bill on which the House was slated to begin debate Thursday night covers much of the same ground, but supporters said a statute would provide stronger, more permanent protections. Passage

Feinstein’s protracted career as a senator also charts the rise of California as a political power player on Capitol Hill, whose 55 electoral votes – the largest block by far, with Texas and Florida as distant seconds – have helped guarantee a Democrat in the White House for six out of the last eight terms.
