After Dianne Feinstein: as a political
giant steps down, California weighs its future

Original Article

When Dianne Feinstein arrived in Washington in 1992, her home state of California was solidly purple and Republican Pete Wilson occupied the governor’s office. More than 30 years later, as the oldest member of Congress and California’s longest serving senator prepares to retire, her state is arguably the most reliably blue in the US. Feinstein’s protracted career as a senator also charts the rise of California as a political power player on Capitol Hill, whose 55 electoral votes – the largest block by far, with Texas and Florida as distant seconds – have helped guarantee a Democrat in the White House for six out of the last eight terms.

I'll give her "political," but "giant" is several steps too far. A mediocrity at best.

This withered, ancient, hideously corrupt, walking communist mummy has brought nothing but misery and ruin to the State of California and our Country by her evil actions in all the offices she has befouled, while all the while amassing a vast personal wealth. Let us not forget also that while serving on the Senate Intelligence Committee she had on her staff for twenty years a Communist Chinese Spy who also was her personal chauffeur and who has since retired on a government pension. Small comfort can be taken by the fact that this minion of the Devil is finally vacating the Senate and due to her advanced age will very soon be serving her judgement of eternal damnation in Hell at the feet of her god, Satan. Only a grim satisfaction can be taken at Fiendstein's demise and eternal punishment because as this article states, the next Senator who will be installed (not elected) by the Communist Death Democrats, who have imposed Marxist totalitarian rule over the once great State of California, will be a rabid, bloodthirsty, America hating demon out to destroy all of us. Evil stalks this land.

Feinstein is nothing but further proof that longevity of career in congress is adversely proportional to benefit to America. Along with this dimwitted, pompous, corrupt individual on the wall of shame stands Joe Biden, Captain Oldsmobile, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Maxine Waters, Patrick Leahy, J. Effin Kerry, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, John McCain, Grand Kleagle Byrd and a handful of others who have made Americans' lives miserable for decades. Some of them have graced us with their departure from this Earth.

Do Guardian reporters know how to count? The last eight terms have been Clinton x 2, Bush x 2, Obama x 2, Trump and Biden. That's only five out of eight for the Democrats. And considering the sketchy circumstances of the last election, it should probably be four apiece.

Feinstein for her part did what her buddy the House Nancy Pelosi did. Got filthy rich while using her office with the help of her husband. WACO, Texas — In the last 28 months, former President Donald J. Trump has been voted out of the White House, impeached for his role in the Capitol riot and criticized for marching many of his fellow Republicans off an electoral cliff in the 2022 midterms with his drumbeat of election-fraud lies. He dined at home with a white supremacist in November. He called for the termination of the Constitution in December. He declared himself “more angry” than ever in January. DeSantis began the year with clear momentum in the nascent GOP presidential primary, topping former President Trump in head-to-head polling and drawing unparalleled interest from Republican voters and operatives eager to see a fresh face at the helm of the party. Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) slammed the New York and Georgia investigations into former President Trump as being part of a “cancer in our body politic,” arguing they are politically motivated. Cuomo told John Catsimatidis, who hosts the talk radio show “The Cats Roundtable,” in an interview on WABC 770 that he expects Trump will be indicted in Manhattan next week. He said he “doesn’t understand” why Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) is “putting such an emphasis” on the case investigating a hush-money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

Fast forward to today, and a new class of cars has a similar problem. A minor accident can cause a total loss, even if the car’s been driven only a few miles. The only difference is that these cars aren’t cheap imports from some godforsaken socialist state. These are state-of-art electric vehicles that come with an average sticker price of $55,000.
