Texas Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee said Sunday that she plans to run for mayor of Houston later this year, shaking up an already crowded race.
Jackson Lee announced her decision to run for mayor while speaking City Cathedral Church in Houston on Sunday, which the Houston Chronicle first reported. She's served in the House since 1995 and before that sat on Houston's city council. "I hope I've been a humble servant for you for 28 years. Many of you are in my district," the longtime congresswoman said, according to video of her remarks. "Sheila Jackson Lee wants to come home to be your mayor for the city of Houston.

So that's where all the money is to be made, huh? Being a corrupt mayor is far more lucrative than being a mere Rep.

Wait... I thought they voted her in to Congress to get her OUT of the state? And she surely wouldn't run for Mayor unless the fix was already in and she's guaranteed an overwhelming victory. Right? Maybe she'll shoot herself in the foot and have Kamala come down and campaign for her.

Note to Houston: Please see Chicago/Lightfoot for your future.
Also note. It's not race or gender - it's AGENDAS!

If she runs, she wins in a landslide. Houston is almost 50% minority, and half the others are dyed in the wool woke liberals.

I can't see how this might be possible but, for her to take a run at the Mayor of Houston's job there has got to be a higher profit margin in it for her than just a job as a demcommie in D.C.
she's a probably a millionaire ten times over so, she really doesn't need either job
