Terrifying footage has been released of the moment a passenger on a United Airlines flight from LA to Boston went berserk and threatened to 'kill every man on this plane'. Francisco Severo Torres, 33, from Leominster, Massachusetts was charged with one count of interference and attempted interference with flight crew members using a dangerous weapon after he stabbed a flight attendant with a broken spoon. In video shot by a fellow passenger sitting only feet away, Torres can be heard threatening to commit mass murder while goading others to try and stop him. The man could be seen standing up in his seat while shouting at those seated around him.

Comments:

He's not only done flying with United, he's likely done flying period!! Especially in this day and age!!

Flight attendants need to fly with rolls of duct tape, rolls of quarters stuffed inside an athletic sock and be prepared to use a belt as a neck lasso to hogtie or 'calm down' these idiots.

Who can imagine what gets into certain insane or evil people before they do the irrevocable act that ruins their lives, and perhaps the lives of many innocent victims? After what happened on 9/11 twenty-one years ago, a similar takeover of a commercial airliner in flight now is almost inconceivable, thanks to American citizens who will not let it happen again. If Torres had been in front of me when he went off with his makeshift weapon, I'd have choked him out from behind by applying pressure to both of his carotid arteries in the crook of my left arm while the right hand cinched the choke behind his head. If he couldn't immediately throw me off his back (which might break his neck if I didn't release the choke hold aka "sleeper"), he would have about ten seconds of consciousness remaining. After those ten seconds, plus a few more to make sure, he would be totally out, an unconscious ragdoll, and could be hog-tied and gagged with duct tape for the authorities to haul him away. If the choke hold is kept on for two minutes before release, the perp would be quite dead, and that's about as cooperative as a terrorist savage could be. A full choke is very, very effective against would be terrorists.

Let the fool play with the door all he wants. It is physically entirely impossible to open a door in flight. The internal pressure holds the doors into the frame with tens of thousands of pounds of force, even with the latches unlocked....the door MOVES INWARD.....and no one can pull the door against the air pressure differential, completely and totally impossible. Let the fool play, nothing bad can happen. They can throw the lever to unlatch the locks.....which means nothing at all, because the door must move inward several inches before it can turn and then move outward. Say the door is about three feet by six feet.....that is 18 square feet times 144 square inches per square foot, or about 2600 square inches. The pressure difference in a pressurized aircraft is about 12 pounds per square inch. That works out to about 31,000 lbs to pull that door inward the first inch.....not happening. Let the crazy person pull on the door.....he's more likely to be able to lift the front of a semi-truck with his bare hands than open the door against the pressure.

It’s been a day of the left and their fellow travelers throwing tantrums over Tucker Carlson’s coverage of the Jan. 6 video footage. I wrote earlier about Tucker’s coverage as well as Adam Kinzinger’s continued meltdown. There have been a lot of bad takes. But perhaps one of the worst came from documentary filmmaker Ken Burns, the guy known for his history documentaries. Now I must admit to having watched some of his work, including on the Civil War and the history of baseball, and enjoying it. If you liked his work and thought he sounded knowledgeable, you may want to adjust your opinion after this.

Missouri started this battle back in 2021 when Governor Mike Parsons signed the “Second Amendment Preservation Act” (SAPA) into law. The Act’s language is quite plain, allowing local law enforcement to refuse to cooperate with any federal law enforcement action that seeks to confiscate the guns of its citizens. The law also penalizes any local LE agencies who refuse to adhere to the law. Newton County, Missouri, was the first to kick things off, and other Missouri counties followed suit. Biden’s Department of Justice, which hasn’t found a civil liberties infringement it hasn’t liked, decided it needed to oppose the State of Missouri, claiming it violated the Supremacy Clause.

Sohn's decision ended some 16 months of attempts to secure enough support, and came just hours after U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) announced that he "cannot support her nomination" and urged Biden "to put forth a nominee who can bring us together, not drive us apart." House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) released 44,000 hours of previously unseen footage of the Capitol riot to Tucker Carlson, triggering the left, which has so carefully crafted a bogus narrative that the riot was an insurrection, or, as Biden likes to claim, “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.” Now that we’re starting to see footage that the anti-Trump J6 committee didn’t want us to see, that narrative is falling apart — and the answer to that, apparently, is censorship. On Tuesday, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) literally called for Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch to stop Tucker Carlson from releasing the politically inconvenient footage.

There may be more to the Ford Motor Company’s enthusiasm for self-driving cars than a drive to advance technology as a newly published patent application revealed plans on what they might install to handle missed payments. With the introduction of vehicle access services like OnStar that allowed cars to be locked or unlocked and even turned on or off remotely, speculation that such capabilities would be used against the owner was not far behind. Now, as Ford proudly promotes their “top-rated active driving assistance system” BlueCruise, a more than 18-month-old patent application revealed how they could repossess the vehicle if payments are missed.

Anyone can stand at a podium and accept adulation. Real leadership involves having the humility to remain standing upright while accepting blame when you’ve failed the people you’re responsible for instead of conveniently leaning on a readily available crutch. But then, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot never was much of a leader. Lightfoot lost her re-election bid this week, receiving just a putrid 16.4% of the vote, finishing behind former head of Chicago Public Schools Paul Vallas and Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson. Lightfoot had her crutch before the results were in.
