A stunning report in Wednesday’s Washington Post details the tensions between FBI agents and Justice Department attorneys over the August raid of former President Donald Trump’s Florida home, Mar-a-Lago.
FBI officials were leery of the plan, and pleaded for a more measured approach, while DOJ prosecutors were hell-bent on a surprise incursion to search for classified documents:
Prosecutors argued that new evidence suggested Trump was knowingly concealing secret documents at his Palm Beach, Fla., home and urged the FBI to conduct a surprise raid at the property. But two senior FBI officials who would be in charge of leading the search resisted the plan as too combative

Inkling of faith still being appropriate in that Agency....and just these couple of paragraphs show that it WAS a rop down/politically driven "Persecution" rather than a prosecution.

More proof that Garland hates Republicans.
Cruz humiliated him at the hearing.

The filthy scum who raided Mar a Lago are as much to blame as the Garland. "Just Following Orders" did not work for the prison guards at Bergen Belzen and that cop-out won't work here! I hope when Patriots take back the government from the usurpers, all involved are Prosecuted and persecuted along with their families and progeny for 7 generations!

#5. Had the same thought.
“Just following orders” is no defense. In fact, their knowing it was wrong and doing it anyways is evidence of guilt.

This represents some serious butt covering. Those agents who reluctantly rated Mar-A-Lago took over a thousand newspaper clippings, passports, and Trump's 'National Security document' tax records. This is bovine natural fertilizer.

Regardless of who ordered or followed orders in this raid, The Great Awakening continues to reach normal citizens world wide. The Uniparty had infiltrated all areas of government and had planned to use that power to bring in the New World Order that was first introduced to us by H.W. and W. What ever they do to Trump (and company) is now being done to them. Pence and Biden are having searches now. Because the Uniparty was hard on Bannon, the Republican congress will now do to others...

It just proves that you can't count on "law enforcement" when things get ugly. They will always offer the "just following orders" excuse.
Ultimately, they'll protect their pensions and paychecks before they protect your liberty.

Not shocking at all. People with honor and integrity do not want to perform political stunts or carry out vendettas for fools and dictator wannabes but the FBI, police and military will do what they are told to do. That's the way the culture works.

Then why did they search Melania's personal things as well as his son's room. Sounded to me that they enjoyed pawing through the whole residence.

All of a sudden with Republicans in the House the FBI is squealing on the DOJ?
Wray all of a sudden admitting the flu came from China?
It's a little late for the FBI to start being honest after they have been aiding and abetting the democrats for the last 6 years.

It was obvious the fascist Democrats wanted the President Trump declassified Obama's Watergate on steroids Crossfire Hurricane files that implicate his staffers and paid foreign/domestic spies and perjury actors. Contemptuous Barr never released the files but the President retained these, just not at his residence.

Each of us, each day, decides what kind of person we are and will try to be.
Every FBI agent who approved or participated in the Maralago raid made the personal decision to abandon their honor and integrity rather than risk their employment by refusing to participate. None of them will again be worthy of the badge until they come forward, make full disclosure of what they were asked/ordered to do, who ordered it, and take a new oath to never again sell out their own personal integrity no matter who demands it.
This is worse than stealing. That can be repaid. The loss of one's self respect and the taint of one's character is extremely difficult to repair.

The DOJ did more damage to themselves than they had imagined...although the FBI has suffered America's contempt...garland is on the hot seat...and I think he will be removed from power...either by the washington cabal or the courts...he has become a liability to the democrats....BUT... the next DOJ leader will reek of political nepotism...china was smart...they invaded the halls of congress instead of invading the country land folk...

Take this report with a grain of salt or better yet a pound of salt. Not a single source is identified. It is all made up, here are the sources:
according to four people familiar with the discussions.
according to the four people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe a sensitive investigation.
the people said.
according to some people with knowledge of the discussions.
a senior law enforcement official said.
according to people familiar with their discussions.

Nope. Not buying it. This leak is damage control from an outfit that is 100% corrupt, top to bottom, inside and out.
No one with any integrity would work for any of the 17 Obama/Biden KGB-Gestapo secret police agencies.
They need to be outed, doxxed, and jailed - every last one of them.

The DOJ stupidly ignored that Trump had the right and did declassify any and all records he wanted. I think they need to raid Obama's home and library. For that matter, since Biden had classified documents in his home from his time in the senate and as VP which he could not declassify, maybe the FBI should raid Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi's homes. Maybe raid all of congress's homes. Pathetic.

The FBI reports to the Deputy Attorney General. Blaming Merrick Garland for the Mar-a-Logo raid is like blaming Jeff Sessions for the Mueller Russia Collusion hoax. Both of these AG's are half-wit puppets, and their strings were pulled by their Deputy Attorney Generals; formerly Rod Rosenstein, and now Lisa Monaco.

This excuse stinks to high heaven! Could it be someone is feeling the fire of a Congressional hearing? FBI's Wray on Fox's Bret Baer was a cya job and it stunk. Wray is the slimiest and arrogant and crooked director we've ever had since J. Edgar. He's so slick and smug, you can see the oil running off of his face. ugh!

But, knowing it was politically and not legally motivated, they still did it, didn't they? They should hang along with the co-conspirators at the top. After Nuremburg, it's only fair.

Of course this was political. Don't forget it was Trump who denied him a seat on SCOTUS and he will never forgive Trump or the senate for the slight. Glad to see at least a tiny shred of intelligence among some of the FBI officials.
