After a number of Trump-endorsed Republicans lost key elections in the midterms, the many wings of Rupert Murdoch’s media empire began to urge the party to move past the former president. Now that dynamic may be escalating in a way that could hurt his shot at the GOP nomination in 2024. According to four Trump aides who spoke with Semafor, the former president is now facing an unofficial ban at Fox News, with the network refusing to book him or even talk much about him in the context of the Republican presidential primary. “It’s certainly — however you want to say, quiet ban, soft ban, whatever it is —

I’m not shadow-banning Fox. They’re just “banned.” Period. Full Stop. If I’m reading other news correctly, during the last election when various Fox personalities appeared to support PDJT and his policies it was all smoke and mirrors. Nothing is organic (the new buzzword.). Even “conservative” media is manipulating us. Nice. More reason to support him. Until I can’t, or there are no more elections. Whichever comes first.

The 2024 election is almost two years away. The primaries are a year away. At this moment, Fox isn't commenting on anyone but Biteme. Give it another six months. If by September, Fox still appears to be ignoring Trump, then we can say Fox is shadow Banning Trump. Especially if they seem to be on the band wagon for other candidates. However, with a complete idiot in office like Biteme who doesn't seem to mind giving other candidates endless material for campaign commercials, it difficult to focus on anyone else.

Since FOX local channel was the last bastion of network news for me, I suppose it won't be that hard to give it up on the heels of all the others forfeited. Anything I want to watch can be brought to my screen by either a magic button on my family member's phone, or on the ever-increasing collection of discs and sticks I have accumulated. Since the only good news comes from scripture, and I have a collection of the bibles from my departed family members, I'll make it to the finish line entertained, if not inspired. I'll save a bit of pity for those who will grieve the loss of the Idiot Box--even if they were smart enough to know better.

Donald Trump was once again the keynote speaker at CPAC this year, with the conservative conference largely being tailored around him since he first entered the White House. After winning the straw poll, the former president took the stage to deliver a speech that can only be described as vintage Trump. How much of an appeal that still has will be a point of contention among Republicans, but no one can deny his ability to work a room. Besides, I think we can all agree that this stuff is hilarious. When Trump is on message and hitting Democrats, he’s at his best. That he’s got the stage presence and ability

He also booted the John Birch Society from the pact. Beginning in 1973, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) leadership and the dedicated group of activists in its ranks launched the Reagan Revolution.
