On February 20, 100 Percent Fed Up reported about the newly elected House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s decision to release all of the 44,000 hours of footage from January 6, 2021, to Fox News host Tucker Carlson, giving him exclusive access to Capitol surveillance footage.“I’ve watched what Nancy Pelosi did, where she politicized [Jan. 6],” said McCarthy. “Where for the first time in the history as a speaker, not allowing the minority to appoint to a committee.”
“We watched the politicization of this,” McCarthy said. “I think the American public should actually see all that happened instead of a report that’s written for a political basis.”

But i thought the footage belonged to we the people. Apparently it belongs to Pelosi and Schumer. I never trusted Deep State Kevin. Still don’t. He’s a fraud and another RINO. He must have gotten the message. If you do this you will suffer the consequences. Warning.

Bottom line (and I understand the details are not known to us yet) we lost midterms badly. Mitch and Ronna and Kevin are in charge and they are NOT on our side. RNC is paying for all sorts of polling telling us nobody wants Trump, etc. Kevin is not going to go against Pelosi’s personal police so he won’t lift a dainty finger on behalf of J6.

FTA: The Fox News team “may request any particular clips they may need, then we’ll make sure there’s nothing sensitive, nothing classified, including escape routes,” Loudermilk said. “We don’t want al Qaeda to know certain things.”
Sir, at this point in our country’s history, we are in far more danger from the democrat party than from all of Al Qaeda.

Pouring gasoline on the fire. Carlson will report but not be able show any evidence on what he is reporting on. The Left will gleefully state it is all hogwash designed to appease the right wing. More division more distrust of the government will be the result.

We are getting the Bill Barr treatment. McCarthy is going to give out the information 3 months from now. When we get there, it will be after summer recess. Then it will be too close to the election. We were lied to. Carlson said he was going to begin releasing information this Monday. We got nothing. Useless trash on Biden being old---like we didn't already know. Or more useless trash on Palestine, Ohio--like we haven't already heard that for 2 weeks. But for sure, nothing on J6. The American people do not want their information filtered through 3rd parties, and streamed to them in a fabricated narrative. The American people want to see the actual evidence, and form their own judgments. This habit of not releasing documents, or smudging out the documents shows beyond a shadow of doubt the government is guilty as sin.

I have an idea: Why not simulate with animation what they are not allowed to record? With a sound track saying that “The FBI did not permit us to broadcast the actual footage, so we are duplicating it with high quality animation”, you can have almost the same effect.

Who in their right mind would THINK that Tucker would be allowed to remove the footage from a Gov't building? If you were, you are kidding yourself.
I think Tucker will come up with a way to describe what he saw and report it. With enough pressure they will release the film.
If Tucker is allowed to remove information from the building, the next thing we know, a democrat Speaker will allow much, much more to be removed.

"June 30, 2021. A six-month Times investigation has synchronized and mapped out thousands of videos and police radio communications from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot....". Are the standards required of Tucker any different from those required of The New York Times in their review of 2021? That's the question that needs to be answered.

I would say let’s not all get our hair on fire based on an article on a website. There may be rules around this that we don’t agree with on their face but let’s wait and see. It’s not humanly possible to review 44,000 hours of video footage quickly and deliver meaningful information.

I like the Bongino rule. Wait 24-48 hrs. before you make a judgment. If then and it proves McCarthy backstabbed us, then there is that new rule that the House can vote to remove McCarthy with one Republican bringing up the vote.
These are dangerous times patriots. God hears and answers prayers. Let us pray for our nation...it's not too late.

I don’t really think it was a matter of “bait and switch.” I remember reading that the videos would be available for viewing by his team at a secure facility in Washington D. C. when it was announced that Tucker Carlson could have access. I never envisioned that 40,000 hours of viewing would just be shipped over to Fox News. There actually are security issues.
It may even be better this way because they will be viewing the actual certified records and not copies.

There are several problems here:
What has the Deep State got on Kevin? Also ---
The tapes are raw and have no index to them. So someone has to watch them for hours before they see anything other than what we have already seen: a couple hundred people walking into the Capitol building being encouraged by the police. So? This would be like watching a video of the waves rolling in on a beach and waiting to catch the big one or a dolphin jumping.
The second problem is the totality. Even 10 people looking for 8 solid hours each a day for a 5-day work week could only review 400 hours. Less than 1 percent of the total. It would take 110 weeks to watch every video. That's more than 2 years.
Lastly, not being able to take the tapes out of the building or even duplicate them adds a whole different level of red tape. Let's say that Carlson's reviewers get lucky and see something in a week or so that is earth-shattering. Then what? All they can do is give a first hand testimony of what they saw and even that may be regulated!
This is a huge waste of time.

The constraint is reasonable. Concern for security is both real and political. It is real in that the capitol and individual representatives/ senators have been and will continue to be potential target. 9/11 taught us foreign actors wish to target our nation's institutions.
It is political because democrats are already trying to distract from the crimes of the FBI, Capitol police, Pelosi, McConnell, etc by screaming "national security." By insuring the tapes are reviewed, it diminishes this argument.
There will be plenty of video that shows the malfeasance that cannot in any way be considered a threat to security. Lets wait and see what Carlson gets before condemning McCarthy

#18 says: "Who in their right mind would THINK that Tucker would be allowed to remove the footage from a Gov't building? If you were, you are kidding yourself."
Whoa. Keep your shirt on. We're not talking here about original VHS videotapes. This stuff is all digital and can be copied digitally in a matter of hours. Neither Tucker nor anyone else ever supposed that the original footage would be removed from a government building. Congress is now suggesting that most of the footage will be available to review in a matter of "weeks or months." That means, "in a matter of years." Ask whether we've seen all the footage from JFK's assassination.
You can bet that the faces of any FBI agents appearing among the crowd will be obscured or the footage will become restricted. The Capitol Police will have to approve any releases as well. This is just more dem manipulation of the RINOs, to protect the guilty swamp dwellers.
