John Cleese Refuses to Air ‘Fawlty Towers’
Reboot on Woke BBC

Original Article

John Cleese is bringing back his classic Fawlty Towers sitcom but refuses to air it on the woke BBC: John Cleese has said his surprise revival of Fawlty Towers won’t be returning to its original home on the BBC because the UK broadcaster would not give him sufficient editorial freedom. The 83-year-old British comedy icon said the revived series, which is in the works at Rob Reiner’s Castle Rock Entertainment, would find a new home as he writes scripts with his daughter Camilla Cleese. Asked if he wanted to work with the BBC, he said: “No, because you wouldn’t get the freedom.”

It doesn't surprise me that BBC is too woke for Cleese's brand of humor. It does surprise me, though, that Rob Reiner would be any better in that regard, considering his own stubborn wokeness...

Reiner is the last producer I would work with if I wanted freedom to poke fun at the world…which Cleese does so well.

I would think that Rob Reiner's at least as woke as the Beeb (BBC) so I don't quite grasp what freedom John Cleese expects to receive at Reiner's Castle Rock, although Reiner might be inclined to go along with Cleese's inclination to skewer the Nazi's.

The original was kinda lame, if like me you're not a big fan of Brit humor. Anything involving Reiner has to be a puke-fest that I will not stomach..

On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) will consider for a second time whether to hear Raland J. Brunson v. Alma S. Adams, a case that alleges Congress had a duty to investigate claims of fraud and impropriety in the 2020 national election, and that member votes against doing so amounted to treason. While some of the reasoning and suggested remedies in the complaint seem hyperbolic, it is aimed at accountability for those in leadership positions who are derelict in their duty to protect the American electoral system from manipulation. On the matter of authorities taking a serious look at election fraud,

President Joe Biden is again lying to the American people, claiming the country is in better shape than he wants you to believe.  On Tuesday, Biden falsely claimed that inflation, including food prices, is on the mend. However, the inflation report revealed that prices increased during January.  "Today's report on inflation shows the good is that inflation in America is continuing to come down," Biden claimed. "Food prices at the grocery store are coming down." However, the price of grocery store items rose 0.5 percent since the beginning of the year. Over the past 12 months, food prices went up 10.1 percent.

Any number of candidates may jump in to challenge former President Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination but, when it comes to the most buzzworthy name on the list, former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) provided her reason for him to stay out of it. (Video) The one time vice presidential nominee joined Newsmax host Eric Bolling on Tuesday’s episode of “The Balance” to discuss a number of topics like network deplatforming and President Joe Biden’s response to the Chinese spy balloon and other objects entering American airspace. When the discussion turned to the 2024 election, Palin seemed to follow President Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment

This is a great pro-life message. A baby girl was born under the rubble of her family’s home in Syria after the 7.8 magnitude earthquakes devastated the area. Aya, which is Arabic for “a sign from God,” was found by rescue workers after the earthquake hit Turkey and Syria last week. She was still attached to her mother’s umbilical cord and was rushed to the nearby hospital, where she's been ever since. Aya’s mother died after giving birth, along with Aya's father and four siblings. Thankfully, AP News reports she’s in good health.

Yet ABC's World News Tonight, CBS Evening News & NBC Nightly News had no interest in reporting that the gunman

Since President Trump left office, many of the “trustworthy” media outlets have created a talking point that is now held by a minority, yet noticeable number of Conservative Americans. The belief is “DeSantis is Trump, without the baggage.” This group supported President Trump’s policies and felt he did a tremendous job as president, but now feel the baggage that came with Trump would not be present with Ron DeSantis. Many have taken this a step further and believe this baggage would give DeSantis (or others) a better chance of winning in a general election against the Democrat nominee than President Trump.
