President Joe Biden struggles with sit-down interviews. On Friday, the White House pulled the executive gaffe machine out of the traditional pre-Super Bowl sit-down with the network airing the game — which, this year, is Fox News.
Biden aides had attempted to circumvent the primary network by scheduling an interview with Fox Soul, a small streaming platform aimed at black Americans owned by the same parent company as Fox News.(snip)wrote White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in a morning tweet. “We’ve been informed that Fox Corp has asked for the interview to be cancelled.”

I would watch it if they interviewed Kevin McCarthy or Jim Jordan instead. At least it would be useful information and not performative art.

This is very good news. I never liked putting politics before a sports event. Give it a break! I hope this ends the practice.

Pull a Clint Eastwood and have it anyway. Only instead of an empty chair, put an eggplant, atop a cantaloupe, atop a pumpkin....like a snowman. For a soundtrack used canned nonsense from KJP.

If you feel a need to hear a senile old person ramble then drop into a local nursing facility. Unlike the bidet, those people will genuinely appreciate your time, company and effort.

Strange, a sitting President, running for re-elect ,the weekend following the SOTU, while he is actually on a "victory Lap" of public appearances in various swing states....refuses to appear on the "Most Watched, most Popular Network...in the World". Fox should fill the time spot with Gutfeld, and a Biden impersonator or a ventriloquist with a Biden lap dummy, maybe a marionette. Compare ratings/viewer numbers/ rigor of Q&A.
No matter to me....I won't be watching anyway. I haven't watched a down/inning/period of Sportsball since Kapernic still wore a uniform.
Nor a full length Live anything with Biden since his ridiculous campaign event at the Toledo Union Hall, with that tiny audience forced to sit in their cars.(There was a larger group of other Union Members protesting outside the venue on the street)

His handlers don't want 100 million people to see Biden drooling and saying something completely inappropriate.

Quid Pro Joe has lies for all occassions. On football he claims that he was admitted to the Naval Academy but he turned it down because he didn't want to go there and embarass Roger Stauback by beating him out for the QB of the their football team.

Why does any US President need to be interviewed during the Super Bowl especially the dementia addled one we are stuck with now?

“The President was looking forward to an interview with Fox Soul to discuss the Super Bowl, the State of the Union, and critical issues impacting the everyday lives of Black Americans. We’ve been informed that Fox Corp has asked for the interview to be cancelled.” - White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in a morning tweet.
WTP, heard that he had rejected an invitation for an interview with Fox, the major network that is hosting the Super Bowl. Such an interview has been the custom. Also, we heard that he signed with a small streaming platform owned by Fox & geared toward black Americans, so that KJP could make just such a statement blaming Fox, if the network didn’t fall for the tactic, & ballyhooing him to the heavens if the tactic did work. We thought his message was supposed to be all about bringing the country together in “unity & understanding”. If so, shouldn’t WTP, of every race, expect that he would use the opportunity of the Network interview to address the everyday lives of ALL Americans to promote that message?

Good idea, #8. Perhaps they could get Jeff Dunham to do the interview with his dummy, Walter. It looks and acts just like Joe.

Well, crap. Now I have one less reason to watch those stupid racists ram their heads together. If they had any brains it might cause Biden.
