The Stench of Fascism

Original Article

The stench of fascism and betrayal is suffocating our democracy, but nobody wants to talk about it. We sanitize our language so that classified documents strewn over unsecured garages and centers of Chinese influence are talked about as though it’s a matter of carelessness and not design. The indisputable brute fact is this: our commander-in-chief and his family have made themselves wealthy by taking bribes from foreign powers, chief among them our mortal enemy Communist China. Nobody seems to be asking, but how exactly were the inexplicable decisions to turn Afghanistan over to China and the Taliban made, and what American interest was served by this? In classic fascist fashion,

How can anybody call China our enemy after what we have done for them in the last three decades? Every sizable American manufacturing plant has opened branch plants there and transferred tons of technology and computer software. We employ millions of their workers to keep Walmart and other big box stores supplied. Harley Davidson has engaged them to build 350cc motorcycles because Harley can't build anything smaller than a V-twin truck. They copy our software without benefit of patents or royalties. I ran across the latest copies of Windows and Microsoft Office in Kuwait, copied and labeled in China for $5 each. They enjoyed no tariffs until Donald Trump forced them to play fair and they fish and drill for oil freely off our shores. We have brought their military ahead by at least ten years by giving them missile, stealth and computer technology. One would swear that we are in some sort of intimate partnership with them with the romance being one sided.

It may be that the "media" don't care and that they don't even question themselves. CCP has them and the Biden admin bought and paid for. Bagram was beyond explainable otherwise

As Joe Biden faces the fallout of his poor handling of the Chinese spy balloon, the effort to rewrite history is already underway. Soon after the balloon was shot down on Saturday, Biden claimed the order to shoot it down was given on Wednesday. “I ordered the Pentagon to shoot it down on Wednesday as soon as possible,” Biden told reporters. “They decided without doing any damage to people on the ground, they decided that the best time to do that was when it got over water outside within a 12 mile limit.” “I told them to shoot it down on Wednesday,” Biden later added, clearly wanting to make sure that this factoid

One of the favorite talking points of the climatistas is that we need to take account of the financial risk of future climate change. This is one reason the Biden Brigade is trying to impose a number of climate risk requirements on American business, even though by every conventional method of economic forecasting, the present value of hypothetical large costs decades from now is quite small. This is one reason why the climatistas insist on perverted forms of economic calculation (the “social cost of carbon”) that in any other context would get them called “economics deniers.” One financial risk that turns out not to be

After a U.S Air Force F-22 Raptor shot down the Chinese surveillance balloon with a sidewinder missile on Saturday, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin issued an alternative-universe statement in which he lauded Joe Biden’s commitment to “always put the safety and security of the American people first.” No, really. We’ll get back to that silliness in a bit. Austin began by suggesting the “commander in chief” — I put that in quotes because Biden is pretty much not the commander of anything — was in charge from the outset. This afternoon, at the direction of President Biden, U.S. fighter aircraft assigned to U.S. Northern Command successfully brought down the high-altitude surveillance balloon

Community activists in Houston are calling for a restaurant patron who shot and killed a robbery suspect during a holdup to be arrested, saying he went beyond self-defense despite many calling him a hero. Customers were eating inside a local taqueria when 30-year-old Eric Eugene Washington entered and pointed a pistol at them and demanded cash. As he gathered the cash, an armed patron can be seen on surveillance video getting up from the booth he was sitting in and shooting his pistol at Washington multiple times. "He was within the law when he fired the first initial shots," said activist Quanell X in a

We saw in Joe Biden’s reaction to the Chinese spy balloon what a problematic leader Joe Biden is, if we didn’t already know it. The balloon wasn’t taken out when it first entered American airspace on Jan. 28, off the waters of Alaska. That was when you would think Biden would take the “water shot,” but the military said they didn’t have it. Then it went over Alaska, where there are huge expanses of unoccupied land. Again, no shot. It went over Canada and then entered the U.S. again on Tuesday, January 31. According to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, that’s when Biden was apprised of what was going

Three years after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s not uncommon to see people wearing masks in public. I try not to judge people when I see someone wearing a mask; after all, the person may have a legitimate need to wear a mask. But what I’ve noticed is that there seem to be a lot of healthy younger people — teenagers and people in their early 20s — who wear masks often, and I have a difficult time understanding it. I’ve had a theory about this phenomenon for some time. I think some people like to keep masking because it makes them feel anonymous. I’m convinced that some people

What we are witnessing in Ukraine, and perhaps in a future conflict in Taiwan, is a new model for fighting Cold War 2, one in which the belligerents tacitly agree to fight but only within designated foreign borders. The process of delimiting the allowable combat area has so far been a complex exercise in signaling. For example, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev recently tried to draw some Red Lines: “If Ukraine tries to strike at Crimea, there will be retaliatory strikes, all Ukraine remaining under Kyiv’s rule will burn. The response in the event of strikes in the Crimea and deep into Russia will be quick, tough and convincing.

There are sites which regularly publish President Biden’s verbal gaffes. When he’s not hiding in his basement these perilous days, those gaffes are one of the few things you can reliably count on. Townhall.com published one Biden flub this week that is among my favorites. BIDEN: "More than half the women in my administration are women." If you doubt the accuracy of this there’s a video they’ve published which captured it. Now that I think of it, given the way that Biden staffed his administration, perhaps this wasn’t a gaffe, but a rare moment of honesty from someone so consistently dissembling over many years that he makes Congressman George Santos look like

A newly-elected Los Angeles city councillor who campaigned on a pledge to abolish the police has been left red-faced after a staff member rang the LAPD to request protection for his broken-down car. Hugo Soto-Martinez, a trade union activist and member of the Democratic Socialist party, was elected in December. Soto-Martinez campaigned against 'armed militias occupying our neighborhoods,' saying that the existing policing system was 'completely corrupt, immoral, and needs to be changed drastically.' On Thursday night, a member of his team placed a call to the LAPD just before 10pm requesting assistance, because Soto-Martinez's white Lexus had broken down.

A white, female Willamette University professor is scheduled to host a veritable struggle session this month at a local library “for white people to reflect together on what it means to ‘do our work’ as white people.” The professor, Emily Drew, predictably “teaches courses about racism, white supremacy, immigration, and social change,” according to a biography. “Her research agenda revolves around understanding how race and racism get institutionalized, with the goal of helping to illuminate more effective strategies for interrupting systemic inequality,” the biography reads. She also performs work for Crossroads, an “antiracism” consulting form whose mission centers on “dismantling racism” and “building racial justice in institutions.”

The US military shot down the Chinese spy balloon that floated through U.S. airspace on Saturday, as Americans learned President Biden and his administration had known about the incursion for a week — but kept it secret, fearing it would derail Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s planned meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. A pair of American fighter jets circled the surveillance craft as it neared the coast of South Carolina, then pierced it with a missile once it was safely over the Atlantic Ocean, video showed.

I do not plan to show up to and listen to him continue to lie,” the congresswoman said, explaining that Biden’s “entire presidency has been filled with lie after lie.” “And I’m not going to sit there and listen to him lie and then watch the media and other members of Congress applaud him his lies,” she said,

The leader of east Oregon's plan to leave liberal Portland behind and join conservative Idaho is moving fast. Mike McCarter has a $70,000 budget for lobbyists in the two states, has seen allies introduce legislation in Oregon last month and has a bill ready to go in Idaho that would accelerate discussions for 15 counties to jump the border. If it works, he says other red counties will have a model for how to dump their urban, Democratic rulers.  'I think people within the United States are watching Oregon's movement, hoping that it'll establish a pathway for them in the future,' he told DailyMail.com.

The deep-pocketed donor network associated with billionaire Charles Koch and his late brother David has said it will not be backing Donald Trump's next bid for office. The declaration, made by brass at Americans for Prosperity Action in a memo to staffers Sunday, did not specify which candidate would receive the prospective funding, but vowed it would not be the embattled ex-head of state. While not mentioning Trump by name, the CEO of the Kochs' main political arm offered a not-so-subtle jab at the former president, who during his tenure often sparred with Koch officials over his administration's trade and immigration policies.
