Pentagon says no harm from CCP spy balloon,
pivots to Trump as Biden boasts: ‘I

After the saga of China’s spy balloon stretched on for the better part of a week, President Joe Biden behaved as though decisive action had been taken with his order to “shoot it down” while the Pentagon shamelessly endeavored to find fault in former President Donald Trump. (Video) Biden put on his best tough guy walk Saturday as he stepped off Air Force One and strode over to waiting members of the press to brag about taking down the airborne surveillance device after it was given time to chart a path from Montana to South Carolina.

But there may still be a sizeable number of people who _need_ to believe the Pentagon and Biden because their whole fantasy world hinges on their tribal faith. In that cohort? The story is that the balloon floated on in over Alaska and floated merrily, merrily on its way, over military bases and over fields and ways, mountains and valleys, cities and towns; jaunty and floaty it went across the USA. And then, then, the blissful balloon was SHOT OUT OF THE SKY by the cruel and merciless Biden.

Now Biden and his leftist Democrat crew are trying to distract from Biden’s incompetence by drawing in the former Trump Administration claiming that Trump allowed three Chinese surveillance balloons operating over the USA to accomplish their missions without any U.S. military hindrance. That does not appear to be the way Trump and his crew operated when Trump was President.

As a scientist and retired from the USAF - Just use some common sense. How fair can you see to the nap of the earth from 60,000 feet. Think of all the sensors/emitters in the infrasturcture - railroads, train yards, electrical grid, pipelines, waterways, irrigation system, airports, navigation aids, etc. Lets say you went across the whole USA (It did). Lets guess the air balloon had power and was maneuverable. It had directable antennas and directable satellite links. Our infrastructure is way out of date. My guess it was a slow-moving electronic signal vacuum cleaner, not counting the other sensors and it got it all. If it went in a straight line and got a swath 600 miles wide from coast to coast that is a lot of intelligence you can do damage with. Now do tell what stupid generals, intelligence agents, cabinet members and the National Security Staff that let this happen. They shot it down after the damage was done. They should all get fired. If it is true, that money has changed hands to allow this happen someone needs to pay. You can bet some poor lower sacrificial lamb will pay for it when you know what hits the fan.

New York Taxpayers Give $2.1 Billion to

New York taxpayers spent $2.1 billion on a program to support illegal immigrants, with much of the money going to landlords, a recent report from the Urban Institute reveals. The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) explains that the report from the Urban Institute centered around the Excluded Workers Fund (EWF), which provided funds to illegal immigrants who had been excluded from unemployment insurance programs due to their illegal status. Much of the money ended up in the hands of landlords. The EWF had two benefit levels: a one-time payment of $15,600, which CIS notes was received by 99 percent of beneficiaries, or $3,200 for the other beneficiaries.

Lawmakers clashed as Democrats again accused Republicans of being racist for focusing committee hearings on the southern border crisis. The second hearing for the Oversight Committee in the 118th Congress on Tuesday zeroed-in on handling of migration at the southern border – it was the second hearing focusing on the migration crisis, coming just one week after the Judiciary hearing on the same topic. Chairman James Comer of Kentucky defended the hearing, noting that the powerful Oversight Committee's job is to make sure Congress is addressing issues properly, and that the hearing Tuesday is the first time the panel is hearing from government workers responsible for securing the border.

Monday’s White House press briefing largely revolved around President Biden’s State of the Union preparations and, as part of that, The New York Times’s Michael Shear surprisingly trotted out a brutal line of questioning that pressed the ever-inept Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on the reality that Democrats didn’t win the midterms because of President Biden but in spite of him. Shear started by having Jean-Pierre restate her premise: “I think you made the assertion that the reason that there wasn’t a red wave or the reason that the elections and the midterms were more successful than many people thought they would be for Democrats was because of the President.

These are individuals who can be “reasonably suspected to be involved in terrorism (or related activities.” At a House Oversight Committee hearing, on Tuesday, CBP officials confirmed to Rep. The Pentagon has released sensational photographs showing the Navy's retrieval of a suspected Chinese spy balloon shot down over the Atlantic Ocean. The mission off the coast of South Carolina has taken days, and comes as relations between Beijing and Washington rapidly deteriorate after the high-altitude aircraft was shot down on Saturday. Defense officials confirmed earlier this week that an amphibious warship, as well as several divers and underwater robots, had been deployed to survey a specific 'square mile' of ocean where the remains of the balloon were thought to be located.
